About this property

The Creekside Cottage: Downtown | Pet-Friendly

Welcome to the Creekside Cottage, a 2 bedroom/1.5 bathroom spacious home, offering a secluded escape by the creek yet just a short stroll through the gardens of Shepherdstown to shopping and dining. Perfect for getaways, family visits, or university stays, this Creekside Cottage offers a roomy interior, cozy living room, modern kitchen, fire pit, and a private patio & porch to be enjoyed along the Town Run.

This private retreat offers a beautiful yard with a porch and patio along the creek, fire pit, and large beautiful garden(you may see our friendly gardener from time to time). The Creekside Cottage is best fit for families as the downstairs bedroom has access to the stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom. It may be worth noting that this house was built in 1910 and the upstairs ceilings are low(6 ft. 6 in.)

We offer a variety of entertainment options with access to Sling, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, all supported by our fast internet connection. Rest assured, we've taken care of every detail to ensure your convenience and comfort. Full linens for the beds and bath, along with essential cleaning supplies, are provided. In the fully stocked kitchen, you'll find a microwave, blender, and all the culinary essentials you may need. For coffee enthusiasts, we have a Keurig coffee maker with a selection of coffee pods and teas for your enjoyment.

To make your stay more convenient, we have a washer and dryer available for your use. No need to worry if you forget your toiletries; we offer soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Enjoy a restful night's sleep on our beds with soft memory foam mattresses, and upon your arrival, you'll find bottled water waiting in the fridge.

Due to Shepherdstown's historical reliance on rail for travel and goods, it's important to note that the railway through town is still active, and the passing trains may be a concern for light sleepers.

Guests will have full access to the house and entire property.
