Family Vacation at Incline Village

We had a wonderful week at the property. We were there for a family reunion. The upstairs was great for us to all be together (10). There was a great tv for us to watch the Olympics, a wonderful dinner table and outside a great deck that we could enjoy, visit and eat! The communication with the manager was excellent. It can be a bit noisy due to the proximity to 28. Overall we were very happy.

Great Incline House

We had 12 of us and this place still felt really big. Great living area for hanging out and sauna and hot tub were a hit. Host was able to get us a beach pass and was very helpful throughout the stay

Large Incline Home

First, it's great that there's places that allow dogs, so we appreciate that tons. The home is near a busy street, but it's winter so it didn't bother us much. I think summers would be loud given the amount of cars going by. The house needs some TLC...for example, some of the kitchen cabinet handles are broken off and some lights don't work. We asked to get the light fixed or bulb changed (recessed lighting) in one of the bathrooms because it was the only light and it never got fixed during our stay. The house needs to be stocked better. We didn't have any extra tall or small garbage bags and we stayed for a week...somewhat frustrating at times when things we expect are not supplied. Given the above, we still had a great time in Incline...love it there!!

Cozy holiday getaway

We had a wonderful time over Thanksgiving with a small group of friends. The kitchen / dining room is incredible for cooking and entertaining. We loved relaxing around the indoor fireplace, listening to music and watching movies. The deck and hot tub under the stars is lovely too. The neighborhood is great for walks and eyeing the beautiful homes. There are some trails nearby too. The host was very communicative and easy to coordinate with.

Great weekend!

This house worked out perfectly for our group. Everyone loved hanging out on the deck as well as in the sauna and hot tub. The living room was welcoming and there were more than enough beds. Communication with the owner was quick and easy.

Nice house TERRIBLE LOCATION

This house, while clean and spacious, is in a terrible location. OT is literally right on the highway. Open a window and the noise is bludgeoning. Adding insult to injury there is major construction going on in the neighborhood and several trucks were clanking there way to the site early in the morning. And honestly, the house needs some love - a bit outdated. Sorry owner, it’s just the truth.

Great house and great host

We needed a place to stay at the last minute and Andrew responded right away. He always answered questions immediately. The house looks like the pictures and is very comfortable and nice. I hate clutter and there was none. It was very well decorated; simple with the Tahoe feel. The teenagers loved the "man cave" and the hot tub next to it. I loved the kitchen and the open area of the living room, kitchen, and dining room. We grilled a lot and ate most of our meals in the house. The kitchen is perfectly stocked. The house was clean. There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty of bathrooms. Andrew is one of the easiest and kindest hosts I have dealt with. I rent a house at the lake every year and also rent a lot of places when I travel out of town. My sister and I enjoyed walking in the nice neighborhood. Parking was excellent as the driveway is a good size and you can even park in the garage. Thank you Andrew for making our stay so wonderful especially at the last minute! You also got us in earlier than you needed to as well.

Completely disappointing and overrated

Landlord has not maintained this property and took my security deposit under false pretense. The home is worn, carpets in the bottom floors musty and lower level smells of pet waste from poor maintenance. I took photos of the exterior porch, sent them to him; boards are popping up, my kids and I felt unsafe to use the deck and brought to his attention on our first day outdoors. Broken furniture on the deck, waste from the fireplace left under a chair. He reponded with no action, although promising someone to come and fix it. Instead of owning up and correcting his mistake, he was inactive. Road noise is horrible, even if the house was perfect. We have notified the local county building department as we don't feel safe on the deck. Hot tub had animal feces, electrical is not to code in the kitchen which looks nice in a photo but is not well made. Find another property.

A great place to make memories with family/friends!

The house is great for large groups as there is plenty of room and space for everyone to feel comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub and the kitchen. We did a tremendous amount of cooking every day. It was nice to have a large stove that could handle all of our needs with 2-3 people in it at times preparing meals. The jacuzzi in the master room was really nice as well. There is a deck that we took full advantage of to grill and enjoy the view.

Great home with large groups

This is our second time here and it’s been fantastic both times. Love the main living area for big groups. Large table to place games for up to 10 people. Kitchen with all the cooking amenities needed. A man cave with a sauna, hot tub and Xbox for the kids. Definitely would recommend this place to friends.

Great place to stay

This house is beautiful with a very open floor plan on the upper level with an outdoor deck exposing great views. We shared the house with our family members (12 of us in all). First floor matched all the pictures shown on line. No electrical or wifi problems were experienced. We really enjoyed the gas stove and burners when cooking for this large group. Second floor contained multiple bedrooms/bathrooms with super soft linens and towels for everyone. There was plenty of hot water for everyone when taking showers. Third floor contained the "man cave" with the sauna, outdoor hot tub, washer/dryer and a two garage as promised. Upon arrival the house was clean and up to my very picky standards. The downsides of this house were the number of steps going from floor to floor especially for those who had difficulty walking up and down steps. We found out during our visit that this is typical of these large homes in Incline Village. The second floor had a bad odor as if the dogs who had previously stayed in the house were not housebroken and left their markings in the carpet. Other than those things, it's in a great location and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Large families will enjoy!

13 legitimate beds, 4 full baths, easily beats cost of renting several Tahoe hotel rooms. Kitchen is first-class. Dining table is great for the large group. We ate and played family games there. Plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen adjoined to the family room was a nice open area for multiple conversations. The hot tub is the real-deal. We made use of that several nights. Garage holds 2 cars and the driveway has space for one more car to park that isn’t in the way of the 2 cars in the garage. On the good-sized deck there is a first-class full-sized Webber grill. We grilled 4 of 7 nights we stayed there. A real nice temperature profile on that grill, nothing came off of that grill burnt or partially charred. The master bath on the top floor has a generous sized jacuzzi that is fully functional. My wife loved it. Overall a real winner just a short distance from the shores of Lake Tahoe.

nice spacious house but too much highway noise

We enjoyed our stay for the most part, as the house is roomy and accommodated our large family gathering. However, the noise coming off the adjacent highway makes it difficult to enjoy sitting out on the deck or sleeping at night with the windows open. Maybe in the winter the property would be more enjoyable. Some minor maintenance issues as well - master toilet required servicing, dishwasher rack was broken, disposer seemed to be leaking, deck railing needed repair; the internet went down while we were there so maybe the router needs replacing.

The property has a stylish and marketable veneer and over rotten wood

The property has major problems !!! The place smells from the garage up to the lower level . There was evidence of mice via droppings and eaten toilet paper. The deck railing was loose we couldn't even use it. No railing on the staircase to the garage Which had a dangerously low ceiling which many average height preople were hitting their head! There was no working lights at the front entrance and lower half of the staircase to the side entrance. The side staircase also had 2 areas where there is an extra step and without lights one of us fell down the steps and hurt his ankle ! The garbage was full and overflowing when we arrived as were opened wine , pickles and 1/2 used food in the fridge . We initially raised the majority of these concerns with the owner but he would send a belligerent repair man who never actually addressed the concerns and made us feel uncomfortable. Finally halfway through are stay he tightened a few bolts on the railing and replaced one exterior bulb ! Frankly there were other issues and we could have complained more we were just over this awful house and owner that we wanted to enjoy are vacation ! As the house is now it is neglected and poorly managed Would not recommend this property to anyone in this present condition.
