About this property

Charming 3-bedroom farmhouse on Block Island with large yard & English Gardens..

Experience BI at South Farm, a historic farmhouse dating back to 1860s. With 3 bedrooms, a front porch overlooking the English gardens & a rear patio with pergola and large yard. Swings for the kids, and a fire pit for chilly evenings it is a perfect spot for 2 couples or a family. With a king bed, full bed, and bunk bed, guests will find a wonderful mix of comfort and charm. Enjoy the convenience of a washing machine, iron, window AC's for when a heatwave hits, WiFi & a outdoor shower. Relax on the back patio, enjoy the fire pit on a cool evening, or coffee at sunrise on the front porch.

The front garden was designed by Block Island's only resident Landscape Architect and lovingly cared for. Always fresh florals available.

The rear of the home has a large yard and working flower and vegetable farm along with chickens and ducks.

We live on- island, and work the farm on- site, so are typically around. If you need us, shoot us a text or give us a ring. If you see us in the back of property working the farm, stop by and say hi! Otherwise, we will give you privacy.

We do also have another rental on property - 'The Ritz'. A studio apartment with full kitchen.

This is a working farm with chickens, ducks & gardens. We are landscapers whom will be tending to the gardens and animals on- property, along with our staff.

*Any interaction with the animals is at your own risk and as a guest of the property you agree that the hosts shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or inconveniences relating to or caused by the animals. You agree that if you choose to interact with the animals and the animals are injured or suffer harm, the host may seek damages and/or compensation related to injury or harm of the animals.

*There is the potential for noise. You will hear roosters crowing & hens clucking. You may also hear children playing outside as our children often help around the farm. We do have many everyday chores required to maintain the animals and plants, so you will see and hear us caring for the animals and property.

>We are on less than one acre, but there is potential to come into contact with wild muskrats, deer, feral cats, wasps, hornets, spiders, snakes, fire ants, mosquitoes, and other woodland creatures. There is also the potential to come across poison ivy and other vegetation harmful to humans. Your stay is AT YOUR OWN RISK. As a guest of the property, you agree that the hosts shall not liable for injury, harm, inconvenience, or death related to wildlife and/or vegetation. Please dispose of trash and/or food properly, as anything left out or outdoors attracts wildlife.

>We do NOT allow parties or events. Unauthorized gatherings of any kind are immediate grounds for expulsion from the property.

>Reservation-owner must be one of the guests on-site and is liable for all travelers accompanying them.

>We do not allow possession or use of illicit drugs anywhere on the property or around it.

>Hosts are not responsible for any personal property brought on-site. Upon request, personal property left behind will be mailed to guest at guest’s expense. Personal property left behind will be disposed of after one week, should no return request be received.
