Small but Mighty
This cozy cottage was a perfect little getaway for two adults who like to sprawl a little. It’s small, about 500 sq ft I’d guess, with an equal sized backyard. We would have preferred it to be a little further from neighbors, but it really FELT secluded. Very quiet at night, so if you like a woodsy night (slept with windows open and enjoyed the crickets) you’ll enjoy this place.
The owners would probably make Scott from Vacation House Rules proud as every inch of the space was utilized to maximize your comfort; fully stocked kitchen (they even left us a couple bottles of wine and some fresh flowers), plenty of linens, comfy beds, roomy shower, great hammock out back for napping… they really thought of everything! There was literally nothing we wished had been available that wasn’t.
This is located about a 10 minute walk to one end of commercial street, so do bring some sneakers if you’re going to walk the whole time. They do provide bikes and we took a cab twice due to rain, but the location was really nice to come back to at night and enjoy the peace and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
