Situated on top of 100 foot tall granite escarpment, the Black Oak Lodge is a modern waterfront property, professionally designed to be more than the traditional cottage. Relax in complete privacy on your own 50 acre property surrounded by nature as you enjoy hotel-style amenities and Endy mattresses in every bedroom. The property has thousands of feet of private shore line on the deep, clean waters of Canoe Lake. Great for families and group trips.

The Water:
Canoe lake is 1km wide, 7km long and 160 feet deep. The presence of lake trout means it's incredibly clean and environmentally protected
Cabin is located at the top of an escarpment the walk down to the water is along a landscaped path and takes between 2 and 3 minutes, but the shoreline and lake view is worth it!
Enjoy 1000 ft of private waterfront access offering views of private cliffs across the lake
Private dock, equipped with Muskoka chairs and ladder access into the water
Canoe, Kayak, Stand Up Paddle Board and some life jackets provided
Boat launch located nearby

The Lodge is situated within the Frontenac Arch Biosphere, and sits on a private 50 acre forest, providing incredible privacy and the ability experiance true wilderness. The oak forest provides endless supply of nutrients for a forest rich in flora and fauna, including abundant deer, foxes, wild turkey flocks and numerous other bird species. The lodge is built on 100 foot tall Granite escarpment with landscaped trail down to a huge dock that sits on the pristine waters of Canoe Lake, one of the least developed lakes in Frontenac.
If you would like to use the watercraft, please do so with adult supervision, and ensure life jackets are always used, and boat life safety canister is present in kayak or canoe.
