Escape to this beautiful home on picturesque Juno Lake in Edwardsburg. This cozy retreat features 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 2 bathrooms, and all the essentials like WiFi and AC. The beautiful surroundings offer a peaceful setting for guests to relax and recharge. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our Home on the water.
Juno Lake is an all sports lake. Come fish off the dock or kayak though Juno and Christiana Lake and continue down Christiana Creek for miles. Bring your own boat and Dock off the backyard. PERFECT for Summer fun on the water for the family. Great property for families to stay in town for Notre Dame/ Saint Mary's graduation dates. This home is located close to Notre Dame Stadium being only 18 miles away so football fans and Alumni will enjoy this home and its quiet atmosphere. This home is perfect, serine, and fully stocked with all the accommodations you will need. Two large screen TV's and entertainment fill the place. This is a well maintained home. A comfortable family room, nice kitchen area and pool table room. Not only is it Just minutes from Notre Dame area but about 25 minutes from the Shipshewana area to do some shopping in amish country or 20 minutes from many local wineries or the famous Swiss valley ski resorts. We are very close to Elkhart, IN, and Mishawaka, IN with all the shopping, dining, Movie theaters, Plays and Live shows and entertainment you can imagine! Look no further this is your place! Whether it is to come see a student graduate, See a concert or sporting event, or come see touchdown Jesus for the Big FOOTBALL Game... this is the place to stay! HERE WE GO IRISH! WE love our ND guests and the home game dates book up fast here ! So don't wait for these dates DON’T last!
Coming for the SNOW!? Winter time is a GREAT time to visit! Swiss Valley ski resort is 20 short miles away. The address is 13421 Mann St. Jones, MI Swiss Valley has beautiful ski slopes, Snowboarding, Night skiing and they make their own snow! So this is a great attraction in the area in the wintertime. It also has a ski shop and a beautiful lodge to warm by the fireplace. Bringing your snowmobiles? Here is a site with some info and you can find a trail map located in our info binder in our home that will show you how to hit the trails. http://edwardsburgsnow.com/
Coming to Fish? A great resource for local fishing both off the dock and the local lakes (Juno is a great fishing lake) but a visit to this place is worth the trip. Several of our guests love to check out this shop. https://www.clearh2otackle.com/ such an amazing staff there will help you with what to fish with and where. But we like to use just rubber worms night crawlers on our poles in the creek and we have caught some Large bass and limit of Crappie! Lakes in the immediate area are Juno, Christiana, Painter Lake, Eagle Lake, Simonton Lake, and the Saint Joseph River is nearby.
Ice fishing is best just off the backyard too!
Coming to Kayak? You picked a great spot! WE are located on Juno Lake which connects to the beautiful Christiana Creek via Christiana Lake. This popular kayak creek runs from Juno and Christiana Lake down the creek and all the way to the Saint Joseph river. Our location is prime because you can take both long and short trips down the creek. You can drop in in the back yard dock and end at a number of different dropoffs on Christiana Creek with trips as long as 2 to 3.5 hours depending on the current. We have 4-6 Kayaks on Site and can be used if pre arranged with the owners) Life Jackets are provided as well and must be worn on the water. A great resource for Kayaking also is www.paddling.com
Got Wine? / Got Beer? Fantastic Winery tours surround the area about 20 miles away. ( also open in the winter) Here is a great site to visit the wine tour. https://www.miwinetrail.com/ We suggest visiting the Round Barn Estate, Hickory Creek, Gravity, Lemon Creek, Domaine Berrien... to name a few but there are MANY wineries and all within close proximity of this area!
There are also great breweries to visit in the area. visit https://bestbrewpubs.org/edwardsburg-mi/ Some that are close by are Bare Hands Brewery, Heavenly Goat, Studebaker Brewing Company (great history) So many great ones to check out!
Looking for some great shopping flea market and Amish heritage? You must visit the Shipshewana Area. The town is quaint and beautiful, horse and carriages line the streets. It is especially beautiful at Christmas Time. You can't help but enjoy witnessing the Amish lifestyle, indulging the Amazing food ( Blue Gate Restaurant, Essenhaus both have amazing family style dining) But you have to Come see some Stars in concert, Real headliners, or some of the most amazing circus acts, rodeos, theater shows and more at the Blue Gate Theatre and the Michiana Event Center, and visit the LARGEST flea market / auction in the Entire Midwest! https://shipshewanatradingplace.com/ www.michianaevents.com www.bluegatetheatre.com
There is also Horse back riding in the area at a place called Diamond D Ranch.
