Our rental unit is a fully licensed short-term rental with a business license issued by the District of West Vancouver and officially registered with the provincial government.
This well-maintained unit includes three private bedrooms, and each has its own private bathroom. Guests also share a kitchen, a dining and social area, and a laundry room, all thoughtfully set up for comfort and convenience.
If you're traveling as a large family or group and one person is responsible for the entire booking, you're welcome to reserve the full unit:
“A Whole Rental Suite – 3 Bedrooms & 3 Bathrooms – 1 Kitchen – 1 Dining – 1 Laundry.” This option accommodates up to 8 guests. You can put a mobile single sofa bed into the social area.

Host was very accommodating with us shortening our stay by one night and went as far as moving their own car from their usual spot so we could fit our truck. We also go to meet their dog Mac who was very sweet as we crossed paths in front of the home (he was leashed, no worries there for folx who aren't dog savvy)! I was just a bit disappointed in the place itself. The bathroom and bedroom were clean. I just felt kinda grossed out by the condition of the fridge exterior. And the lack of decor was just kinda sad. But we got this place at a discount so for the price we paid everything was well worth it. I greatly appreciated how easy it was to contact the host and how quickly they replied.

Kimberley and her partner were wonderful hosts. Check-in was easy and straightforward. The rooms are clean and comfortable. One slight quibble was that the previous tenants had used up the toilet paper and it hadn't been replaced yet, but when I mentioned it to Kimberley, she replaced it immediately. Also, the previous tenants had left the bathroom a bit untidy. Again, this was a very minor issue. Overall this is an excellent place to stay.

After coming to Canada 25 years ago to study at UBC, I earned my Chartered Professional Accountant designation—but nowadays, I spend more time making videos, walking my little dog Mac (a.k.a. my second son), and dreaming of setting sail on a cruise ship.
I live in beautiful West Vancouver and have a soft spot for good food—so much so that I happily pay to eat whatever the chef cooks! My place is in a contemporary building built in 2018, and I take pride in keeping it clean and comfortable for my guests. I personally handle bed making, cleaning, and your check-in guide to make sure everything feels just right.
Fun fact: I’ve made a ton of tax seminar videos (yes, really!). My most useless skill? Overthinking everything. Favorite high school song? Hotel California, of course.

What makes this property unique

Public education in West Vancouver is among the best in the Greater Vancouver area. That’s why we moved here when our son was attending elementary school. In the blink of an eye, more than a decade has passed — our son is now studying at the university in Toronto, yet we are still unable to sell this ordinary home located in a wealthy neighborhood. We’ve had no choice but to remain here, continuing to shoulder the burden of high property taxes and ever-increasing home insurance costs. The short-term rental unit was set up specifically to help cover these two expenses, not to make a profit, but simply to generate enough income to pay taxes and insurance. It also serves as an affordable, safe, and conveniently located place to stay for visiting guests.
