Private lakefront bliss in Chestertown, NY. Stay lakeside for the Belmont Festival in Saratoga. Less than 1 hour to the races, Adirondack serenity for sunrise and sunset. Modern lake house filled with many amenities. Beautiful vaulted ceilings, full kitchen with stainless appliances, all utensils and cookware including a dishwasher. Two full modern baths, washer and dryer. Three bedrooms including; master suite with a queen bed, another bedroom with a full sized bed and a children's bunk room that sleeps five. Enjoy morning coffee with gorgeous lake views on the screened in porch or enjoy game night at the farm table while listening to the call of the loons. Private beach with fire pit and a 24' dock. Explore the lake with use of paddle boat, paddle board and children's kayaks. You can also enjoy games on the lawn overlooking the lake or use the grill to cook your catch of the day. This is our family home so please treat it as you would your own home. We can not stress enough no smoking or pets.
20 minutes to Lake George or Gore Mountain, 50 minutes to Saratoga Springs and the Keene Valley. Easy access to the high peaks and the horse races in Saratoga.

Great summer getaway at the lake

Perfect Loon Lake Location

This was one of our most memorable and wonderful vacations yet. The home was exactly as it looked on the VRBO website but no pictures could convey the warmth one feels when they arrive! It certainly felt like we were guests at a friend’s home. The view of the Lake is simply awesome! The owners (Shawn and Colleen) were very generous in allowing us to use their games and lake items such as tubes, water paddles etc. Communication was spot on and very courteous. Any questions we may have had were answered promptly. The kitchen items were perfect for cooking and the screened in porch was perfect for family lunch & dinners. We would recommend this home to anyone and hope to be able to go back next summer. Thanks to Shawn and Colleen for a lovely family vacation!

Great Family Getaway on Loon Lake!

I would highly recommend this lake house to any family looking to get away for a stress-free and relaxing vacation. The owners of this beautiful home, Shawn and Colleen, we were more than accommodating and quick to reply with any questions we may have had. The house was VERY clean upon arrival and Shawn and Colleen added some personal touches that truly made you feel welcome in their home. The house has plenty of space for a family to spread out and the large screened in porch is a huge perk in this house. The waterfront views are priceless and the yard is equipped with many sand toys, yard games and recreational boats (ie. Kayaks and paddle boat). This lake house is a 5/5 in my opinion. Will definitely want to rent this house again! The Burgess Family

Awesome spot with perfect views!

Perfect spot for family get away. We came with 71 year old parents and a 3 year old and all were able to get around the property well. Well stocked is an understatement and great views of an awesome lake at all times. Easy to get to multiple 'hot spots' in the Adirondacks including Lake George, Fort Ticonderoga, Adirondack Adventure and Saratogoa Springs. Cute little town with little shopping spots to stop at. Lake toys were plentiful and the fishing was enjoyable. Thanks for a great time away. We will certainly be back!

Absolutely heavenly vacation getaway!

From our arrival until we left, vacation was perfect! From the perfect weather to hearing the loons, this was one of the best getaways we’ve experienced! Everything was thought of. Thank you for a lovely home that was our home for a wonderful week! Our only regret is we didn’t rent the 20’ pontoon for the full week from the Loon Lake Marina. The two days we had the boat were superb!

Fantastic home on beautiful lake!

We just returned from a great week on Loon Lake. The house is very well equipped and on a perfect spot on the lake. Shawn and Colleen are great hosts and were quick to respond with any questions. We rented a boat for the week at the Marina which is literally a 5 minute walk from the house. We have rented several VRBO's in the past few years and this is definitely one of our favorites. Two thumbs up!!

We loved this property.

We enjoyed a restful, fun vacation with our four children (ages 3 to 13) in this well-maintained, well-appointed cabin. We loved the beautiful lakefront location, our own little piece of paradise. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch and being able to dine on the porch; the kayaks, paddleboat and paddle board; the comfortable clean beds. Thank you for for making the entire experience easy and fun.

Exceeded Expectations!

This was my family's first time renting a house through Vrbo, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This house and location exceeded our expectations. As soon as we stepped inside the house it was obvious that it had been thoroughly cleaned. I ended up overpacking , since I was quite sure what would be available or if I would just prefer my own "things." We immediately felt comfortable and right at home. Not only is the house well stocked with every product you might need, but it was also so organized and spacious. We took day trips to Lake George, but spent the majority of our time relaxing on the screened in deck, cooking over the campfire, fishing, playing in the sand, and swimming. My small children had a blast and my husband and I are already hoping to return next summer!

The lake house is stunning with a great waterfront location, which we took full advantage of with the help of our hosts, who put is in touch with the brilliant people at the marina. there was nothing quite like docking at your own private pontoon and disembarking onto your own beach and garden. evenings were spent either by the lakeside fire-pit or on the spacious and comfortable dining porch talking and playing games. we barely left the house! the house is a home from home with lovely, stylish and cosy touches and the area is wonderful. we tried the adriondack extreme wires nearby and recommend that too. it was quite perfect and made great memories. thank you.

BEAUTIFUL HOME!

We absolutely loved staying at this property and would do so again in the future. The home was extremely clean, well stocked with everything we could possibly need & layout was perfect for a larger group. Backyard was amazing - right on the lake with a sand/beach area which was perfect for the younger kids & fire pit area for roasting marshmallows. Homeowners were very attentive and reached out to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! We had a fabulous time! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

property was extremely nice everything we had hoped for and more!!

The Loon lake house was great exactly as we expected and immaculately clean. The accommodations were great and the owners thought of every detail. They answered all of our questions before we asked them and had everything we needed right there for us. Our family enjoyed our stay, the living space is laid out perfectly with a huge screened porch overlooking the lake perfect for large gatherings family and friends. We would definitely recommend it and certainly would return.

awesome lake house

Having rented over 2 dozen homes through VRBO I can say this is one of our favorites. Colleen is a fabulous host and made the trip very comfortable. The house is spotless and plenty of kitchen utensils to make cooking at home a pleasure. The beds were comfy and there are plenty of towels etc. Lots of condiments and extras that helped in a pinch. This is truly one of the best equipped and cozy places we have rented. Well done Colleen !
