Welcome to LUX LIGHTHOUSE LOOKOUT (LUX), a luxury home built in 2025 and ideally situated in AC's Absecon Inlet. With unparalleled views of the lighthouse, cityscape, and ocean, this exceptional home is just 1 block from the boardwalk, and 2 blocks from the best beach in AC!
LUX is the only unit in Lighthouse Row that was professionally designed. It was brought to life by a veteran designer, who meticulously planned every detail. It's a 3-story, semi-detached townhome with the main living space on the 3rd level, which is comprised of a large, open-concept great room, 1 of 2 master bedrooms (5 total), a washer/dryer, and a deck topped with a mahogany, vaulted ceiling. Before diving into the stunning, professionally designed spaces that set LUX apart from the competition, let’s first explore its awesome location.
— THE LOCATION —
LUX is only 1 block from the newly renovated AC Boardwalk, 2 blocks from the beaches, and 1 block from the historic Absecon Lighthouse! With boardwalk access 1 block away, guests are within walking distance to AC's vibrant entertainment scene, top-notch dining destinations, and comprehensive shopping experiences. There is ALWAYS a plethora of things to do it AC, no matter what time of year it is!
LUX backs to a preserved park stretching from the lighthouse all the way to the boardwalk. This truly unique location results in vast, unobstructed, breathtaking views, including Absecon Lighthouse, AC cityscape, and the Atlantic Ocean. There's even a park and mini-golf course just steps from LUX. The park was recently renovated. It offers basketball, tennis, pickleball, charcoal grills, walking trails, and park benches. Just look at the photos to get an idea of what it would be like to experience all the views in person. Let’s move on.
— THE GREAT ROOM —
At first glance guests typically have a WOW look on their faces, and it’s immediately evident they are in a designer home that just feels right. It’s extremely warm and eclectic, yet somehow highly polished and cohesive. It’s got a vintage vibe yet somehow manages to still be modern. It’s a visually arresting mix of styles (coastal, midcentury modern, Scandinavian, city-hip, modern, and even vintage). This was all achieved by the designer’s use of various wood tones, metals and textures, which are uniformly spread throughout the space. Splashes of teals and blues were strategically injected, as to not infringe upon the overall Zen feeling achieved through liberal use of earth tones.
The kitchen, dining and living areas are combined under a vaulted ceiling, so everyone in the entire space can comfortably enjoy each other’s company, the TV, and the fireplace.
The high-end kitchen boasts modern appliances, soft-close cabinetry, granite counters and backsplash, and a navy-blue island with solid wood stools. 3 exquisite, hand-made seagull sculptures soar above the island, and sway with the least bit of air movement. A massive canvas of a restored/colorized historic photo of the AC boardwalk was custom designed by the owner. The kitchen is also fully stocked with dishware, drinkware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, blender, coffee maker, toaster, tea kettle, etc. Just bring your food and you’re good to go! A concealed washer and dryer are conveniently just off the kitchen.
The dining area seats 10 at a stunning sintered stone table with a perfectly scaled, coastal chandelier hovering above. The table is only outdone by the sleek fireplace wall adorned with solid wood acoustic panels. The fireplace not only looks sexy, but it also emits heat. The spectacular views from the dining room windows (and ALL windows along the entire length of the house) are of the lighthouse and cityscape. Because LUX is an end unit, it is the only one in this enclave of homes with these spectacular views!
The living room offers seating for 12 people without hindering the flow of the overall space through the utilization of 2 club chairs, and a large sectional sofa backed by a custom-built, solid walnut bar with 4 stools. Everyone has a place to take in the 75” smart TV, which is backlit against another stunning, wood-paneled wall. 2 google speakers provide outstanding sound.
The star of the great room may just be the massive, custom-milled, 800-pound, solid ash, floating shelf hovering over the set of double doors that lead to the upper deck that offers breathtaking views of the Absecon Lighthouse, cityscape, Atlantic Ocean, and the Absecon Inlet (yes, you can really see all that from the decks). It's outfitted with high-end, counter-height, dining tables and 10 stools.
— PENTHOUSE BEDROOM —
Completing the upper level is a luxurious bedroom we call the Penthouse. It features a vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, sitting area, and a show-stopping wall of upholstered panels with matching queen platform bed. It’s like being in a high-end, boutique hotel room. The owner added a door providing direct access to the high-end bathroom that avoids guests having to enter the main living space to use the bathroom, and transformed this bedroom into a second master. The shower has a window with a killer view of the lighthouse.
The remaining 4 bedrooms are all located on the second level.
— ZEN BEDROOM —
This is the second master bedroom and features a king bed, ceiling fan, and smart TV. A wall of mandalas combined with tall rattan vases gives it a Zen feel and visually carry the eye right across the window behind the upholstered headboard. It’s worth noting that almost all window shades in the house are top-down/bottom-up, and this room is no different. Being the second master, it has direct access to a luxurious, marble tiled bathroom.
— BOHO BEDROOM —
A palm leaf wall mural, hanging planters and rattan seahorse, combine with solid wood furnishings to give this room a very chill, beachy vibe in a tasteful manner. The queen bed is flanked by geometric, teakwood nightstands from India and nautical lamps with touch-power bases and USB charging ports. There’s also a ceiling fan and Scandinavian bench with a smart TV above. This is yet another room with awesome views of the lighthouse and city!
— ROYALTY BEDROOM —
This mesmerizing room is quite simply a work of art. It features a black rose wall mural that was custom designed by the owner. The remaining walls are painted a rich black, which really pops the white trim and provides the perfect backdrop for 3 more elegant seagull sculptures that sway with the least bit of air movement. A rich, upholstered king bed with gold pillows and fluffy bedding is royalty worthy. The funky nightstands hold sheik, glimmering gold mirrored lamps, and small gold statues. The overall look is highly romantic and reminiscent of a tuxedo with gold cufflinks. This room also has a smart TV, ceiling fan, and you guessed it — stunning views of the lighthouse and city.
— GREEN ROOM —
GREEN ROOM refers to the room entertainers hang out in before they take stage. With AC's rich entertainment history, it was fitting to pay homage by adding one to LUX! This multifunctional space oozes nostalgic glamor but somehow manages to do so in an unpretentious, tasteful manner (there’s nothing kitschy about it). It features stunning geometric wall tiles with a backlit 65” smart TV, retro photos, and instruments hanging from the walls that guests can play or just appreciate from a sculptural perspective. A retro-looking sofa with 2 swivel club chairs are melded together by 4 geometric tables that form a single coffee table. There’s even a mini fridge so guests don’t have to trek all the way upstairs to get their favorite beverage. This room offers stunning views of the city, lighthouse and ocean, and has direct access to the 2nd-level deck via 2 sets of glass doors. The deck is outfitted with a comfy sectional sofa, coffee table, and 2 lounge chairs, and seamlessly fuses with the interior to form one large entertaining space.
Back to the multifunctional thing. It was important to the designer that there be a secondary living space (especially for those with kids), but it was also imperative that no guest sleeps on a notoriously uncomfortable, pullout sofa bed. The white cabinetry seen in the photos isn’t just storage space — It also houses a luxurious queen Murphy bed, that floats to the ground with the tug of a finger on hydraulic rods. The Murphy bed combined with the modular furniture allows for this secondary living room to quickly and easily transform into a luxurious bedroom. It even has pullout nightstands and USB charging ports. Study the photos carefully to see for yourself how this space converts from a hangout to a comfortable bedroom, and how everything has its place regardless of which configuration guests desire.
— THE GARAGE/GAME ROOM —
2.5 car garage parks 2 vehicles, but why bother when there’s parking out front for 2 in driveway and more on the sandy lot just across our private road? Parking is at a premium in AC, so this is a nice perk. There’s plenty of room for guests' beach toys, bikes, scooters, and suitcases. A game room section has offers a smart TV, pub table, and standup arcade with retro games like Mrs. Pacman, Dig Dug, etc. In the very near future a 9’ lighted shuffleboard table and 4-stool bar will be added.
— BACK PATIO & SIDE YARD —
The patio is covered just like the two decks above it, with a private, enclosed outdoor shower, quality chairs, and a door leading to the garage/game room.
The totally private side yard is a bonus area that no other unit offers (it’s another benefit of being the end unit). Pylons were converted into functional tables to hold drinks while playing cornhole. String lights were added so the fun doesn’t have to stop when the sun goes down. There’s also a Weber propane grill.
