About this property

Historic circa 1790 2 bedroom farmhouse on 6 acres in beautiful Paris, Kentucky.

Our charming fully renovated historic farmhouse (this is the oldest house in Bourbon County) features unique one of a kind art and Restoration Hardware furnishings throughout. Multiple windows begin at floor level to maximize light and views, there are 2 excellent sized king bedrooms, 2 soothing full bathrooms (one with a bathtub), and an additional office space with an inflatable twin bed if needed. This room does not have a door between it and the dining area or foyer. Guests can enjoy amenities like heat,AC, washer/dryer, WiFi and a large functional kitchen during their stay. Please note there is not a television in the house but a moveable smart tv monitor if streaming is desired and the convenient parking is shared with the tenant of the guest cottage on the property. There is a very large fenced backyard that our dogs love overlooking horse paddocks, small barn, and the beautiful surrounding farms. There also are doggie doors from the kitchen and mudroom to give your pets 24 access to the yard if desired. These doors can also be closed off if you don't want your pet to roam. This is the host’s primary residence so it offers an abundance of the comforts of home. The primary bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and overlooks a beautiful farm across the street. There is a convenient large mudroom at the home’s entry, a gorgeous office with a comfortable couch and beautiful views, and an amazing dining area off the kitchen with a wood burning stove. It is 20 minutes to downtown Lexington, 18 minutes to the Kentucky Horse Park and is nestled among many horse and cattle farms as well as a five minute drive to the popular Windy Corner restaurant. Downtown Paris is less than 15 minutes away, and downtown Georgetown is 23 minutes away.
