Seaside Stay in Hubbards

Fantastic house for a family. Well equipped kitchen. Easy travel to towns along the south shore. Restaurants right in Hubbards have a good variety of yummy foods. Brad was very responsive to all my questions. Highly recommended!

Wonderful spot!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was exactly as described in a terrific location and it was wonderful to be able to have our dog with us as well. Very easy check in process and Brad was a terrific host. Many thanks!

Beautiful

Ideal location and well-equipped, spacious home. The views of the ocean are amazing. If you are looking for a good base from which to explore the south shore, look no further. The hosts are responsive and helpful.

Great house, lovely location

The house was very comfortable and well-appointed. The location is great - close to many excellent destinations, but also right on the water and walking distance to restaurants in Hubbards. Brad was a very responsive host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would be happy to return.

Perfect spot!

This is such a lovely home with the perfect view/ location. Great for a family getaway! Highly recommend it. Plus the Farmer’s Market on Saturday is lovely and the Shore Club has the best lobster!!!

An Ode to 12 Keans Road

I spent the last two weeks of July here with my three children ages 11, 8 and 6, my husband and our small dog. We arrived two weeks ago (fully vaccd) from Toronto. I am hesitant to encourage others to book this house as I’d like nothing more than to have it all to myself. If you love the ocean and being on the water... ***if not I have a great house for you IN ONTARIO.*** I don’t work for Brad, but if I did I would tell you I woke up each morning and looked out to the peaceful calm of the cove and beyond without even lifting my head from the pillow. I watched my kids sailing at the hubbards sailing club everyday from the lawn. I fell asleep night after night to the sound of the waves at the shore. From the small beach on the property you can swim out to the dock, paddle around in boats provided or chill out and enjoy the view. There is a lovely lawn down to the beach and an equally superb deck with a large dining table and umbrella out the back door. All of this makes is so easy to soak in the view and never leave the property. The house itself is full of authentic east coast touches, clean, and well organized. Our family of five was very comfortable. There are so many beautiful beaches to enjoy I’m driving away with enough sand in my car for my very own. The house is conveniently located about five minutes or less from basically anything you could need - groceries, pharmacy, coffee, library, nslc, sailing club, hiking trails, beaches etc. We easily travelled to Halifax for lunch and shopping trips, peggys cove for sight seeing and tuna blue (2min) for dinners. The hubbards farmers market on Saturday mornings is primo- don’t sleep on it. I could go on and on but if you’ve read this far just book it. Brad is an A+ host, you won’t be disappointed.

Great Chill Out Location

The house was great but the location and view were even better! With lots of places closed down due to Covid, it was an ideal place to just kick back and relax. Would recommend for families: Lots of activities at the property - swimming and kayaks. The local grocery and liquor store .are within walking distance and there is a great food truck just at the end of the drive.

Picture-perfect Stay

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was comfortable and well-appointed and Brad was a friendly and generous host. Location can’t be beat- the water was just a few steps away from the large back deck and the house was close to the conveniences of Hubbards. We took walks every day in the surrounding area and enjoyed relaxing evenings watching and listening to the birds.

Cozy house in a wonderful location.

We spent a wonderful time in Hubbards. The location is very convenient for sightseeing. Our children loveved to seek for seaglass at the beach. We brought home several kilos. The house is nicely furnished and decorated and very well equiped. Only the kitchen might benefit from a bit of decluttering. The view from the master bedroom is amazing. The deposit was released the next day after we left. Thank you for everything, Brad.

Fall family get together

Family members met in Hubbards from Halifax, Moncton, South Dakota and South Africa. The house is just lovely, very clean and well appointed. You will feel right at home. The view from the living room and master bedroom could not be better and there are many things to do in the area.

This property had it all. Perfect location, fantastic views, comfy beds, water toys, fireplace inside and out. House was very clean, and in a quiet location. Close to store, and other tourist spots. Not a thing was missing. Made for a memorable family reunion.

A beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Nova Scotia. Close to many atttractions.

The house has everything you need to enjoy your vacation, regardless of the season. I would definitely recommend this home. It is a short, picturesque drive to Peggys Cove, Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. Every window has a beautiful view.

Beautiful Ocean Front

We loved this place. The back deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is breathtaking. We had a wonderful time. The house has everything you need. Great unique art throughout to showcase the East Coast. We will be back!!!

Dream Vacation

Wonderful location to kick back and relax after a day of touring NS. Place have everything just like home. The view is awesome and if you are into sea glass collection this is the place. Groceries are nearby.

Beautiful, comfortable house in a great location

Our first trip to Nova Scotia was made all the more enjoyable staying here. This is a perfect house to sit by the ocean and relax or use as a starting point to take day trips to Halifax, Lunenburg or Peggy's Cove. The owners were by far the most accommodating we have experienced. A warm, enjoyable house in a beautiful location. We saw mink near the shore, bald eagles overhead and woke to the call of loons fishing in the bay.

Great location right on the ocean

It was my first time in Nova Scotia and I was worried if I picked the right cottage or not. The cottage was more than I expected. Large and spacious, it had everything we needed. It was also in a good central location to check out the different sites in Nova Scotia. Halifax, Peggy''s s cove and Lunenburg ate short drives away. The grocery store was 1 min away which was great for my 3 boys with bottomless stomachs. I highly recommend this cottage
