About the host
Hosted by Jamie

Originally from Greenwich, CT, and Boston’s Back Bay, we spent 11 wonderful years living in the Mad River Valley before relocating to Dover, MA, with our children, now ages 11, 13, and 17. We’re avid Mad River Glen skiers, and when we’re not on the slopes, we love exploring National Parks, boating along Florida’s Gulf Coast, and catching live music whenever we can. This is our first time renting out our farmhouse, and we truly hope your family enjoys it as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
Fayston truly offers the best location in the Mad River Valley! It’s a quick and easy drive to the local ski resorts, I-89, and nearby towns like Waterbury, Stowe, Burlington, and Killington. Plus, North Fayston Road is paved right up to the house—an absolute bonus during mud season. You’ll also find the Burnt Rock trailhead, Boyce Pond, and the Icelandic Horse Farm all off of North Fayston Road!
What makes this property unique
The 1850 Barn is a one-of-a-kind space. The upper level still serves its original purpose, housing our farming equipment. Meanwhile, the lower level has been beautifully restored and transformed into a stunning entertainment area. And don’t even get us started on the Vermont spring water from our well—it's unbelievably fresh and delicious!
