About the host

Hello,
I have lived in Denver for 30 years now. I enjoy all the city has to offer. Mostly the access to the mountains and year round sunshine. I sell houses and have restored many over the years, including this home which is one of my favorites. I am a fan of mid century modern design and have loved living in this space.

Why they chose this property
I moved to Park Hill for the charming neighborhood that it is. It sits close to City Park for great walks and the Zoo as well as the Natural History Museum. There are great cafes and restaurants within walking distance and it’s a short hop to the airport.
What makes this property unique
Its design. I love the layout of this home. It’s very functional for its size and has been a pleasure to raise my kids here.
It was designed by an architect Edward Hawkins who actually studied in Chicago and was a study of Frank Lloyd Wright . That is evident in this house as it was his first home build in Denver when he returned to his hometown. He went on to build an incredible development South of here called Arapahoe Acres which is on the historic registry.
