We had the best time at Amy’s property. The house was very clean and she had everything we could need. Very well stocked house. She was very responsive with any questions we had. We would all definitely stay there again!
We just ended our Falmouth vacation. The house was spacious with plenty of room for our 12 family members. Everything was clean and sanitized. Our favorite rooms were the study and the screened in porch. The owner was responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend staying in this beautiful house on Cape Cod!
Beautiful place with lots of room indoors and out. Older historic home with modern addition in the back. Comfortable beds. Fun games and puzzles, as well as outdoor games like croquette and badminton. Located near the bike path, Wild Harbor Gen'l Store, bike rental places and Epic Oyster restaurant.
Host Amy was extremely responsive to any questions we had. Exceptional week!
Our extended family of 10 LOVED this house. It's beautiful, comfortable, clean, uncluttered, vast, interesting, and SO conducive to a family vacation. The Great Room in the middle allows everyone to be together and eat, converse, and play games... OR to simply be in the same space, but do their own thing: reading, working, napping, cooking, etc... It's hard to pick a favorite spot: the reading nook, the screened-in porch, the game room, the huge yard, the kitchen... I don't think 1 week was enough to truly enjoy every room.
Amy was great with all communications. The house has everything you need to enjoy yourselves so you don't have to cart all this extra stuff with you on vacation (house included linens, beach towels, beach chairs, games, a gazillion books, Ziploc bags, soap, Q-tips, detergent, even tissues!!) It's the nicest Cape house of the 5 we've rented over 15 years. We could hardly believe the owners would trust it to strangers. :)
What a beautiful, convenient location for visiting the Cape
Our blended family of eight visited this beautiful property for four days in early September to enjoy a family reunion as well as celebrating my husband's and stepson's birthdays. The property was perfect for our family with bedrooms divided between the old and new portions of the home. We loved the big table in the open concept kitchen/living room for playing board games and appreciated lots of sitting space in the TV room. I particularly appreciated how closely the information in the listing matched the real property.
The home was incredibly clean, with well furnished rooms and plentiful kitchen equipment. All appliances worked well and the hot water was exactly that and was available consistently even in the face of the many consecutive showers. The BBQ provided a wonderful burger closeout dinner for our reunion. We found a good array of spices, coffee, and creamers in the cupboards.
We had three SUVs and they all fit easily in the drive. We loved having the little marketplace, which offered not only fresh pastries and food but wine and beer less than a block down the street. Very close by, we also enjoyed good restaurants and fabulous ice cream.
We also adventured to all the local towns and appreciated coming home to our peaceful home away from home.
Thank you, Amy for allowing us to visit your home.
This was our second stay at the house, with 6 adults and 4 kids. There is lots of space for everyone to spread out and a great yard. The house is generously stocked, especially with kitchen and beach supplies. The location is great and we loved the bike path.
We had three families and three generations stay for a week very comfortably. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out; the kids loved the huge yard. The house was incredibly well equipped in terms of linens, kitchen supplies, beach gear, and more.
This house was beautiful and definitely lived up to the description and pictures. It was a perfect location and had a few outdoor games and plenty of lawn for the kids to play. There also were puzzles and indoor games.
The house was very clean! It was well equipped and made our vacation very pleasant. We cooked one night and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and pans etc. We had three generations and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was also very quiet from area to area.

A terrific blend of old and new
We had two families of four in the property and the house worked out great. One family was in the new part of the home while we were in the old section (1755!). The nearby biking trail, holy cow ice cream, the general store (only open seasonally) and megansett beach made this a great location. What a great trip!

Absolutely everything we were hoping for!
We needed something for a Thanksgiving family gathering that could accommodate a toddler, children, adults, and my ill father. This house was beautiful and spacious. We had a fire burning and games playing and food cooking. So much laughter, such great memories in a warm, inviting home. Amy was so pleasant to deal with. We had no issues at all during our stay so my only communication with her was setting everything up beforehand and getting some basic questions answered and then thanking her profusely afterward for opening her home and giving us just what we needed for a meaningful holiday. Can't recommend it enough!!

Exceptional Experience
Very comfortable. Well located on quiet residential street near Shining Sea bike way and two public beaches. House is large and easily handles up to 12 people. The aplit between the historic house and the new house makes it very easy to accommodate two large families. Lots of yard space and parking. Yard games available, if desired. Afternoons on the enclosed screen porch were exceptionally relaxing. We would come again if the opportunity arises

Perfect for Multigenerational vacations! Per
This is a wonderful house with more than adequate space for multigenerational vacations! Indoors and out, there are many seating areas to spread out but also a nice great room/kitchen. Nice walk to little grocery, sandwich, pizza and ice cream! I grew up in this area and if you're looking for quaint Cape Cod - this is it!

About the host
Hosted by Amy Malone
The antique part of our house, built in 1755, was purchased in 1925 by my husband's grandfather. In 1987 my in-laws added a large, comfortable addition, which created a beautiful marriage of old and new. We bought the home from my husband's family in 2004. In 2025 it will have been in the family for 100 years!
What makes this property unique
Our spacious home has a wonderful 'vibe', and the layout is ideal for extended family vacations. There are sleeping quarters on either end of the house, connected by a beautiful common great room and kitchen. There are other common rooms for tv watching, reading, working (if necessary!), or just having private time, along with beautiful outdoor spaces and a large yard. There is a real village feel to our location, with friendly neighbors and lots of walkable neighborhood amenities.
