Katama gem less than a mile from heart of Edgartown and under three miles to South Beach. In addition to the 4 bedrooms there is an overflow sleeping areas, 2 entertainment rooms, and deck. The open kitchen with serving island is perfect for family meals and entertaining. Central air conditioning, first floor washer/dryer and dishwasher are just a few of the amenities offered. As you approach the pool there is a cozy gas fire pit, a grilling area, & plenty of yard space for yard games.
The Pool and Spa Oasis offers a unique experience with a saltwater pool and pool house consisting of an accordion window bar counter, half bath, fridge, beverage cooler, dishwasher, sink, a/c, and outdoor shower.
**The studio apartment above the garage is available to rent separately.
It may or may not be occupied during a rental but, if occupied, there will be no access to the pool area and that side of the house. Convenience at its finest! Come where everyone can have their own space to relax!

Perfect Place to Stay

Everything was easy! The house was very clean and cozy during our stay. It was a great location to town but enough out of the downtown. And John was very great to work with. We would love to go back.

Wonderful Katama home!!

Beautiful property in Katama right near Katama General store. Big private lot, comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchens and bathrooms. They had beach towels and beach chairs which was very convenient. Great house all around! They are also putting in a beautiful pool in the backyard and it looks amazing.

Katama - right fork home

Property was better than described, which is not always the case with rentals. Plenty of clean sheets and towels, ample room for a group of 10 adults. Because we visited in October, we did not spend much time around the pool, but it is a terrific set up with hot tub controlled via an app on phone. Even though the house is just past the fork, it’s very private. Stones throw to the general store and easy walk into town.

Needs some TLC

We have stayed in this home before and in 2020 it needed a bit of upkeep but it was great! 3 years later it is in desperate need of some new, comfy furniture on the porch, some cosmetic work inside the home especially in the primary bath, the kitchen cabinets and drawers etc are all cluttered and its difficult to find things, for the price point its definitely not up to par.

Autumn bike trip to MV.

Great property for an autumn bike riding trip. Close to Edgartown center, directly on the bike path system and on route to South Beach. Very comfortable home for couples to both spread out and hang together.

Long Weekend Wedding Guests

We recently stayed for a 3 night visit to attend a friends wedding in Tisbury. We were 7 adults and the house was more than enough space to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The location requires a car (we were grateful one couple did being their car onto the island) to get to the best attractions, as we found Uber to be very unreliable on the island and its a full mile walk to downtown Edgartown. We LOVED the breakfast sandwiches from Katama General Store (order ahead online) and we had two awesome meals at the Atlantic in Edgartown. All of the bedrooms/beds/linens were comfortable and in great shape, kitchen had everything we needed including a Keurig. The side lawn is huge and we enjoyed a lot of chats on the outdoor patio. Would stay again!

Solid place to stay in Edgartown/Katama

We rented this house for a wedding that we were attending in Edgartown. It's a great house that is clean and really close to Edgartown. The host was nice and very responsive. The only issues we had were some small things (smoke alarm going off, upstairs toilet running, light bulbs out, etc.). Once they get those quick fixes done this place is easily a 10/10.

Great Edgartown Location

This home was the perfect location in Edgartown... close to town and Katama South Beach. The home was nicely appointed with Master Suite on Main, fireplace in Living Room, Bonus Lounge upstairs and an Entertainnent Room and Studio bedroom in Basement, and full-size washer and dryer. Yard is spacious for countless outdoor games and lounging on the lawn. There's even an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a visit to the beach. The only things missing are a pool, a bathroom for guests staying in the basement and bikes for strolling into town. Would recommend.

Amazing weekend in Katama

We LOVED staying here! The house was so nice and clean, and even more spacious than we expected. We easily fit 8 adults with plenty of space. The short walk to the Katama General Store was great as we only had one car amonsgst the 8 of us. We had a great weekend!

Great House!

My fiance and I stayed here with two other couples for 4 nights and could not have been happier with the space. Check in/out was super easy, the house was just as listed and was really well decorated for a rental, and the location was perfect. Katama general store is right around the corner for snacks and the walk into Edgartown is short and easy. Highly recommend!

Wonderful

Lovely house with lots of room to spread out. Beautiful kitchen and living room on main level. The basement area is large with a family room on one side and a king bed on the other. We used it as an office space as one of our group had to work. Another upstairs family room to hang out and watch tv. Back deck for morning coffee almost every day and the one day it rained put our camp chairs on the covered front porch. A breeze checking in and the owner was easy to contact and work with. But, I saved the best for last. The outdoor shower!!! Almost couldn't wait to get back from the beach just to jump in. My only suggestion would be a couple more kitchen towels and more importantly, a new wine bottle opener! Great week.

Location, location, location.

The property is a short walk to Katama General Store and in between South Beach and Edgartown. The backyard is large and wide open. Great for the kids to run around and rid themselves of excess energy. House itself was very clean and well provisioned. John was great leading up to and during our stay. Overall, wonderful experience. Thank you John.

Wonderful Marthas Vineyard Retreat

We had an amazing time at this property! Everything was very clean and organized when we arrived, and we had more than enough space for 8 people. The outdoor area was very private and spacious. Perfect location to walk or bike to Edgartown with ease, and only a short drive to Oaks Bluff. Highly recommend.
