Affordable place for business professionals looking to relocate.

My family and I live in the mountains in Virginia but love to visit our home in Mebane when we have time.

Downtown Mebane has a nice bakery, home made ice cream (very reasonably priced!), coffee shop, bowling alley, and few other bars and restaurants. Personally my family and I prefer to take a 15 minute drive over to Hillsborough though and visit the Weaver Street Co-op. There is often a very talented live musician playing out front and their hot food bar is incredible. Also there are extensive walking/biking trails right there at the market. Generally speaking NC has come a very long way with their trail networks. Durham and Chapel Hill have an abundance of paved and single track trails for road biking or mountain biking if you are into that. Chapel Hill is about a 15 minute drive from the house and Durham is 20 to 30 minutes away depending where you are going. Both areas have ample entertainment.

This house isn't the ritz but it is very relaxing and has a very down to earth feel. The thing I love about this place the most is I always wake up feeling refreshed when I sleep here. Being in my 40's with three small children this is not commonly the case, but here it happens!
