The Cove, Porthtowan
The Cove is a 3 bedroom, self-catering apartment in Porthtowan, (Featured on BBC Countryfile Winter Walks 2024) Cornwall, perfect for families and small groups.
The apartment is furnished to a high standard and is ideally positioned a short walk from the local beautiful blue flag beach. The Cove is nestled in a small local village complete with a handful of amenities, including Cornish restaurants and cafes. Plenty of attractions, walks, views, and landscapes await only a short drive away.
The space
The flat is well proportioned for groups of no more than 4 adults + 2 children. The en-suite master bedroom is complete with a king size bed. The second bedroom provides a double or twin room. A third bedroom is fitted with bunk beds for children (2 singles). The main bathroom is fitted with a relaxing bath.
The living space looks over the horizon where the sky meets the sea, so the rugged Cornish cliff top outlook can be admired right from the sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking.
Other things to note
Enjoy one of the many nearby National Trust clifftop walks, to admire the stunning rugged Cornish coastline along Portreath, Chapel Porth and St. Agnes.
Relax at The Blue Bar on the edge of the beach, or dine at The Unicorn for more upmarket meals and cocktails.
The village has all amenities. A convenience store stocks essentials, as well as a range of local produce, while the fish and chip shop offers an easy and tasty dinner. The Beach Cafe is the perfect breakfast or lunch stop.
