LOCATION! LOCATION! OLD SILVER BEACH! Saturday to Saturday weekly rental

This home is the Cape Cod experience. We are 6/10 of a mile from Old Silver Beach where there is some of the warmest water on the Cape and the sandiest beach (no rocks).The beach has showers, snack bars and shallow sand dunes. It is a short walk or drop off from the house. At the house we have a great outside shower with changing area, a large deck with benches and table and chairs and a big grill to cook on overlooking a very large backyard for the kids.

There are 5 queens, 4 fulls, 1 twin and a baby crib to accommodate sleeping for up to 14. There are 3 full baths in the house. One of the queen beds and one of the bathrooms is in a studio apartment connected to the main house. The Studio apartment also has a kitchen and small living room and will be free for you to use.
We do not provide linens, towels, toiletries etc so please plan ahead when booking!
We have a brand new bike path behind our home. The Shining Sea Bikepath has an entrance for our neighborhood 200 yards from our house. This path will bring you all the way into Woods Hole. For entertainment at night we have an inside professional size pool/ping pong table. For those who want to maintain an exercise routine we have a treadmill, stationary bike and free weight bench set.

Western Arm of the Cape

We brought the family together to attend the King Richard's Faire in Carver, MA. We also explored Old Silver Beach, Woods Hole Aquarium, the JFK Memorial, the JFK Museum, the Massachusetts National Cemetery, and great eateries like the West Falmouth Market and Pie in the Sky bakery. All in all nice place to return to after a days adventure. p.s. really, don't forget paper towels and toilet paper along with your sheets and towels.

Cape Cod life

We had a wonderful week in Cape Cod. The only "surprise" was the dish washer. It did not clean dishes, never got hot, and smelled rank. Everything else was great, just as listed.

Nice place that was very convenient to Old Silver Beach. House accommodated six adults and four children comfortably. We had a couple of issues with some broken furniture and the driveway is a bit tough to get into and out of but all in all it was a very pleasant stay.

Perfect Getaway!

This is the second year we’ve rented this house - we have seven adults and four teenagers- there is plenty of space for all. The access to the bike trail and to Old Silver Beach makes this location ideal. The house is rustic but works perfectly for us- especially the first floor bedroom four our elderly family member. Bryan was very responsive as well!

Falmouth family vacation

Just returned from a vacation in Falmouth! The house was perfect for 12 of us-6 adults-6 children. The kitchen was well equipped. And there was plenty of space for all of us. We loved the private back yard and made good use of the outdoor shower after super beach days! The location is .7 miles from Old Silver Beach. We had a great stay!

Large house in a beautiful, quiet area

Great house for our stay with our 3 daughters, 2 sons-in-law and 4 young grandchildren ranging in age from 5 months to 8 years old. All the rooms were very spacious. We were all able to spread out. There were plenty of sleeping accommodations. Crib and high chair were added amenities that helped tremendously. The kitchen was equipped so cooking for everyone was easy enough. House was located in a quiet residential area. The large backyard was nice for the children to play and chase the rabbits. Large deck off the dining room with table, chairs, umbrella, benches and grill facilitated outdoor dinners every evening. The outdoor shower was a big hit with our granddaughters. Old Silver Beach is a large beach which we enjoyed everyday. Nice walk back and forth for our exercise.

Large home with trail to Bike Path and close to Beach!

This home is large, complete with a mother in law suite! Great location especially if you plan on biking the Shining Sea Bike Path or going to the beach. Private neighborhood yet convenient to all the necessities. Owner was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We hope to return! Great vacation.

Close to Old Silver Beach and Bikeway

Comfortable home, great backyard and quiet neighborhood. Walk to Old Silver Beach (less than a mile), or go biking on the Shining Sea Bikeway (small trail access at end of street). Bring your own linen, TP, towels, bath soaps, laundry soap etc. We enjoyed cooking our own meals, using the grill, porch and outdoor shower. The air conditioning was very helpful. We were a large group of 14 using all the beds. On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms. If you are using it at full capacity one of the queen bedrooms is the entrance and exit to one of the rooms with multiple beds. All the living spaces were comfortable. The downstairs bedroom worked very well for our elderly family members. The suite with separate outdoor access was ideal for the family members with a baby. Small note, the dishwasher probably could be screwed or glued onto the wall. Weights, and ping pong in the basement. The owner was very responsive, and we hope to come back!

Great home! Great location!

We come to West Falmouth every year and this property was great! We would definitely stay again! Location is great, can walk or bike to old silver - close to the bike path and plenty of room for lots of family and friends!

Great location!

Location was awesome and plenty of room for 11 of us. Owner was very responsive. 9 am check out is pretty early but other than that it was a great week. Access to Old Silver and the bike bath was amazing!

Great location, roomy home😁

Worked well for the 13 of us. Big yard, great rec room, cute private attached studio( needs decent bed) , love the outdoor shower. Several of the Larger Beds need updating.

Great Value

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood close to a bike path and less than 1 mile from the beach. Lots of bedrooms set up in a configuration that makes sense. The basics (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, salt & pepper, etc.) were provided for us. Kitchen was well-stocked and everything was in working order. Communication with the host was answered very promptly. 2 (extremely small) negatives - closets and cabinets were crammed with unused sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. (made it look kind of junky) and there were no bath mats or rugs available for the downstairs bathroom. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Family Christmas

Great House to get together with family. Plenty of space for the 11 us to hang out. Played board games, pool and watched movies together. Took walks to the beach. Great neighborhood. We did take a couple of trips to Chatham and Falmouth Main St. to check out shops. We cooked big meals, baked a few things, the house wanted for nothing, it was very well equipped. Bryan was easy to communicate with. Thank you Bryan!

Great house for a larger group

Not upscale, but fine for a beach/cape vacation. Nice backyard and deck. Quiet street. Loved Old Silver beach for quick access. Layout of the house allows for privacy. Good wifi. It is in a neighborhood so we dealt with an unruly neighbor and construction across the street during our stay. But overall a quiet, well-situated house.

Spacious home with lovely deck and backyard. Walk to the bike trail and the beach.

The owner was easy to communicate with which was very important to me as I had many questions. He answered them accurately and in a timely manner. the information on the website was also very accurate with the pictures. Overall, an excellent experience.

Lots of Space

There was a lot of space in this house that is very well laid out for a large family. The yard was beautiful with lots of trees for privacy and the neighborhood was peaceful, with a connection to wooded trails that also connected to the Sea to Shining Sea Bikeway. Also, Old Silver Beach nearby (.4 miles) is fantastic. We have a very large family and didn't use all of the beds. The attached studio apartment was great for a little extra quiet for grandparents!
