About the host

Island Park and Yellowstone have been a part of our lives since childhood. We both grew up visiting this magical area with our families, creating cherished memories. My dad recountswas fishing off Fishing Bridge or, in earlier days, even feeding bears from the car in Yellowstone (a practice long since retired!).

Our love for this incredible place led us to purchase the cabin in 2019. When it's not rented out, we spend as much time here as possible, always finding ways to make it even better. We hope you enjoy this little slice of heaven as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because of our deep love for the area and everything it offers. Whether it's summer or winter, there's always something to do here. In the warmer months, we enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, and exploring the natural beauty of Yellowstone National Park. In the winter, we love snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.

The magic of this place, combined with its proximity to Yellowstone, makes it a truly special spot. We dreamed of having a log cabin nestled in the mountains, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to make this beautiful area our home away from home. The neighborhood is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and offers endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation. It’s the perfect place for us, and we hope you love it as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

Our cabin stands out for its combination of comfort, convenience, and access to the natural beauty of Island Park. One of the most valuable features is the rare 2-car garage and asphalt driveway, providing a secure space to protect your vehicles and gear, especially in a place like Island Park.

The spacious 6-person hot tub, located under the upper balcony, offers year-round relaxation while enjoying the surrounding scenery. With three decks and a firepit, you can take in breathtaking wildlife views, stargaze, or roast marshmallows on a crisp evening.

We know how important it is to stay connected, so we’ve equipped the cabin with 100 Mbps fiber internet, allowing for high-speed Wi-Fi, whether you’re working remotely, streaming, or planning your next outdoor adventure.

Easy access to outdoor activities is another huge benefit. Snowmobiling, ATV trails, hiking, and fishing are just steps away, so you can dive straight into nature.

But what really sets this cabin apart is its privacy and seclusion. Nestled in a wooded forest setting, it offers a quiet, peaceful retreat where you can sit on the balcony, read a book, listen to the sounds of nature, and maybe even spot a moose or watch for birds. The balance of modern comfort and natural beauty makes this cabin the perfect place to unwind and enjoy all that Island Park has to offer.
