About this property
The Yucca - Amazing Views - Stargazing - Fire pit
In Pipes Canyon you will find this picturesque one bedroom cabin that is the perfect escape for couples, friends or solo travelers. Step inside & find yourself in a cozy living space with everything you need for your stay. The King bed under the skylight is sure to be your favorite spot to lay your head after a day of exploring.
This off-grid cabin is solar powered & offers amazing views of the mountains & desert landscape. It's an ideal location for stargazing.
The space
Secluded yet close to everything:
5 minute drive ➔ La Copine
12 minute drive ➔ Pappy & Harriet’s (please note: it's not walkable)
15 minute drive ➔ Frontier Cafe and Old Town Yucca Valley
15 minute drive ➔ Integratron
16 minute drive ➔ Joshua Tree National Park Visitors Center
45 minute drive ➔ Palm Springs
The Yucca is completely private but our sister cabin, The Ocotillo, is on the same 5 acre property.
Highlights include:
↣ One bedroom with comfy King bed. Sleeps up to two guests.
↣ Stargaze from bed through the skylight.
↣ Off-grid with solar power.
↣ Amazing views in all directions.
↣ Zero light pollution.
↣ Gas fire pit for nighttime hang outs.
↣ Outdoor dining and seating area.
↣ Gas grill for making delicious meals.
↣ Indoor gas fireplace for cozy evenings.
↣ Pet friendly - one well behaved pup welcome.
↣ Open floor plan kitchen, dining and living area.
↣ Coffee with a pour over maker is included for lazy mornings spent taking in the views.
Please note: This cabin is 100% off grid and uses solar power with a generator as a back up. This means it's best to conserve as much power as you can once the sun goes down. If the battery runs below 25% the generator will kick on, but please be aware, it's loud, so it's better to avoid needing it. There is a tablet in the cabin where you can monitor the battery level.
