Centrally Located Farmhouse, Close to Mountains and Lake

Completely remodeled in 2012, the farmhouse sits near pastures and forest with two creeks and plenty of wildlife. You will be surrounded by beautiful farms and forests with views of Schweitzer ski resort and the surrounding mountains. The house is centrally located in the Selle Valley, minutes from shopping, 5 miles to city beach on Lake Pend Oreille, 5 miles from the Schweitzer Mountain ski bus barn/shuttle, 30 minutes to Schweitzer Mountain Resort, 5 miles from the Idaho Club golf course, 45 minutes from the Silverwood theme park, and 45 minutes from Canada.
The main bedroom has one King bed with high quality linens and down comforter (quilt in summer). The bunk room has one full bed and three twin beds. All have high quality linens and down comforters (quilts in summer).
The gourmet kitchen is open to the dining room and living room. It is fully equipped and boasts cherry cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining table seats 8.
The living room has seating for everyone on a comfortable sectional. There is a large flat screen tv with Roku for streaming, a blu-ray player and a selection of DVD's to choose from.

A home away from home...

Pictures do not do this place justice!! Minutes from everything, perfectly located!! Kirsten was very responsive and accommodating. Will definitely be back when in town!

Beyond relaxing

Thank you for a place where we could kick off our shoes and relax. The place is beyond fully stocked which is important to us as we cook mostly from scratch. You do need to bring your own movies which was no priblem as I knew this ahead of time. Thanks again for opening up your beauty home. Look forward to staying here again!

Sandpoint Farmhouse

This lovely property is located a few miles out of town, on peaceful acreage that included mature fruit trees. The farmhouse was very comfortable and met all our needs. The owners were responsive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Country getaway

The little red farmhouse was a perfect getaway. The layout of the house worked well for us, with ample room to spread out as well as spaces to gather for late night chats. The location was just far enough out of town to provide quiet and relaxation, but close enough to run into town for dinner and a show. We would definitely stay again and look forward to spending more than 2 nights in the little red farmhouse.

Fantastic local gem in an awesome area

I cannot say enough about this property! It is a beautiful, spacious house that is stocked extremely well. It is clear that the owners are very thoughtful and take great care of their place. We travel a lot and always stay at houses or condos and this time there was truly nothing amiss - from the bathroom necessities to all the kitchen utensils and cookware you can think of to zipper bags and laundry detergent. The house had AC units in both bedrooms and bathroom, which made our stay extremely enjoyable when it was 95 degrees outside. We enjoyed nightly visits from the neighborhood cat and even got to meet the neighbors' puppy Millie - which was a huge plus for our teenage girls. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

Great little house.

We stayed here while in town for a wedding. The farm house was clean, comfortable, quiet and peaceful and the stars were bright at night and cherries on the tree were yummy! A quick drive to town if we needed anything. Great little house!

Perfect base for skiing

The plane was just as promised. Clean, spacious common area, secluded, comfortable. Host was very responsive. No problems. Would love to stay again next winter.

Great property! Only recommendation would be to have a warning sign on the door to the basement, as misunderstanding in thinking it might be a bathroom, the stairs are as soon as door was opened and felt like it would have been easy to fall

2 weeks in Sandpoint

We stayed 2 weeks in sandpoint visiting our teenage daughters. The house was set up so nicely and very well maintained. We had everything we would need! (Just bring your own coffee grinder) From air conditioning units, crockpot, cable, internet, fire pit, bbq, to walks in the country, fruit trees, wild life and lawn chairs! Kirsten was available anytime we needed her! It was a memorable stay and we will be back!

Fabulous house for the family!

We loved this house. It is well stocked (the owner even brought over a tea pot) including lotion and basic toiletries. We loved all of the towels and blankets!! Great place to put cold and wet ski gear, too. Our only wish would be for the tile to be heated (or more carpet). The entire home has hard floors (with a few rugs) but boy does that tile get chilly even with the heat on! Bring your slippers! This wouldn’t stop us from coming back though. Loved the house!

Great getaway

We had a great stay. The property was a perfect size for family with four children. Picturesque and convenient location only a short drive from Sandpoint and easy access to major highways. Night sky was dark and star filled. Good communication with owner. Very pleased overall.
