In addition, located on the lower deck is a private room with a jetted, whirlpool tub, where you can soak and relax after a full day of hiking or exploring the surrounding area. Grand View comfortably sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen) and 1.5 bathrooms (1/2 bath off bedroom with king bed).

The views

Absolutely great house with immaculate views. Well kept, comfortable, and relaxing. The hosts take test are of this home and of you as guests. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful girls' weekend at Grand View

This home was wonderful for a girls' reunion weekend. It's the perfect size, fully stocked, very clean and has the most beautiful view you can imagine. The hosts were kind and easy to communicate with. We are already talking about a trip back next year.

Gorgeous view and very comfy

We had a wonderful family vacation at the cabin. It looked exactly as shown on the listing and had a beautiful sunrise view in living room and bedrooms. The house was well maintained and had everything we need. Hosts were super thoughtful and communicative. Highly recommended!!

Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at this cabin/house in Luray. It was cozy, had everything we needed but was still big enough for us to have a little personal space. The hot tub looking out at the mountains was very relaxing and private. For us this was a great weekend. We went to Luray Caverns which we highly recommend. It's a natural wonder everyone has to experience. I will say that Luray itself doesn't have a ton by way of a food scene or several places seemed closed during our stay. However, the house has a kitchen with everything you need.

Felt like home!!

Becky is the most gracious host and was so communicative! We had a good bit of snow and she made sure to let us know the issue of the backroad leading up to cabin being unplowed and even gave us an alternate date if we choose to wait out the storm. We arrived and fell in love with grand view! Felt so safe and warm and aided the nice touches they had such as the soap and items on hand in the bathroom and the box for the doggies! We literally didn’t leave the cabin lol.we enjoyed movies and played cards and I took a nice bath and that huge jacuzzi tub!

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

The cabin had everything we needed and the views were breathtaking!Went horseback riding,Luray Caverns,visited 2 college campuses within driving distance,visited civil war museum nearby and more!!Hosts were so nice and communicated throughout.The temps and atmosphere ideal for a traveler from Arizona!Highly recommended this cabin and the hosts!!

Perfect getaway

This house is immaculately clean, beds are comfortable, and its far enough away from everything to be peaceful, but still close to things to do. The only cons were no washer/dryer and no dishwasher, but those are only minor inconveniences. We didnt really have any issues during our stay, but I called Becky with a question as we were checking out and she picked up immediately and was super friendly! I would highly recommend this property to anyone!!

This place is outstanding!

If you're from the sticks and looking for a beautiful vacation in the sticks, look no further! This home is beautiful and perfect for country loving folks. Plus they allow dogs! Down a long dead end road and up a long loop driveway, you won't see your neighbors as there are plenty of trees between houses, and the river is just below. It is quiet and peaceful. The photos do no justice to how gorgeous the views are from both inside and outside. The house is very clean, smells great, and all the furniture is cozy. Becky, the host, is really sweet and down to earth. She supplies all sorts of things you might have forgotten to bring along with you, even for your dog. We loved it here so much that we wanted to stay forever. I highly recommend this home be your choice for a vacation rental weather you're a family, group of friends, or a couple. There is plenty of space and you really can't beat the price for how wonderful it is.

A quick peaceful getaway

Check in and check out was so easy. The owners did a fantastic job communicating and they were so thoughtful with the tiniest details. Forgot some basic things? They probably had em. The moment you arrive, you feel like you’re at home. There’s no TV in the master would have been my only complaint if I had one. The stay was everything we hoped it would be and definitely plan to go back.

Very relaxing location

Really enjoyed the stay. The picnic table on the deck outside ended up being our favorite spot and we ate every meal out there. The quiet location, with a very lush forest all around, promoted relaxing reading on the covered deck. Everything worked as expected and was comfortable. Great homebase for exploring nearby trails on Massanutten Mt and Shenendoah Nat Park.

The Grand View Cabin has everything you could want + more!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the cabin while visiting Shenandoah National Park. After a long day of hiking in the park came back to the cabin and enjoyed dinner and a campfire. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and outside was quiet with beautiful views. David and Becky thought of everything to make out stay just like home. Thank you both we hope to visit again.

The place was great. Nice little touches for dogs and humans. The location was very good for our visits to the park. The place was as described and was in great shape. Check in and check out process was super easy. I'd rent again if I'm ever in the area.

Wonderful stay with wonderful hosts

Our stay started with what might have been a disastrous result but Becky and David both came to the rescue! The property sits atop a steep driveway and while we were driving to the property from VA Beach it was snowing so it was making the drive unpassable for our van. When we arrived the hosts met us at the foot of the drive with their 4 wheel drive vehicles, loaded up our belongings and took us up to the property. We then parked our van at a nearby property of one of their friend’s businesses. In the morning Becky was willing to drive up to the property to take us down to our van. How sweet and accommodating she was to do all of that. By the time we had finished our daily activities the driveway was passable for our van! The hosts had also baked us cookies and breads, and left a Christmas card for us upon checking in! The place was stocked with everything we could need and more ! What a wonderful find and wonderful hosts! Would recommend

Together we are business owners (Adventures Await) in addition to working as a general contractor (David) and flight attendant (Becky). We enjoy time with family, love being grandparents and although we do enjoy traveling, living near the beautiful Shenandoah River and among the beauty of the George Washington National forest makes every day feel like a vacation!
