This is the cutest cottage! My young adult sons thought it was awesome, and so did I. It has every convenience you can think of...and the kayak and paddle board were awesome! Great location

The floor needs work, could use update on bathroom, & the outside deck steps needs work done. Dining table was not the greatest & the living room furniture was uncomfortable so we used all pillows to make it comfortable. The beds were comfortable.

We Stay Here 2-3 Times a Year

We have stayed here 2-3 times a year for the last 15 years. We use the Ocean Kayak, Stand Up Paddle Board, ice machine to fill up ice chests every day, beach chairs and umbrellas. We walk to the restaurant and Tiki bar at the Bear Point Harbor marina in the neighborhood - The best sunsets on the whole island. This is by far our favorite place to stay in Orange Beach.

Cozy Cottage

This cottage was just right for us. Quiet neighborhood close to everything. We had more then enough room. We really enjoyed our time here. Hopefully in the near future we can come stay again.

2nd stay in paradise!

Kevin is always a pleasure to deal with. Honestly there is no dealing. We booked the home and that was that! You can contact and he is very responsive. We actually asked for another night but unfortunately someone was already coming. Next year we will make sure to get that day!

Weekend Trip

We ended up having to leave for personal matters, however our short time there it was very cute, neat, and had awesome amenities! The guest house is very cute, and photos do not do justice of the whole property. It is very cute!

Great stay!

This place is really charming. There is lots to do both at the house and in the surrounding area. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the place had all of the supplies to meet our needs. We found it particularly great that we had access to all the beach gear. The owner was helpful in providing a lot of helpful info about the place and the surrounding area prior to our trip so we were able to better plan out our time there. It was a great stay.

Older cottage in nice neighborhood. Comfortable, but could use some upgrades. Well stocked kitchen, appreciated cleaning supplies & provided paper products & use of beach chairs. Nice backyard space.

Cozy cottage just what we needed

Everything was just as advertised. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room in the house. We didn’t even use that back guest quarters. Very reasonable.

The family and I stayed 3 nights. Bathroom could be a bit bigger, but we made it work. It was too cold to use the outdoor bathroom. Kitchen came with everything we needed. Neighborhood is very nice and people are friendly.

Perfect place

This property is the perfect place to visit this beautiful area. Quiet and private location make it a great place to retreat to after taking in the fun and sun. We visited because of my graduation from CSU (GO Knights!) and was the perfect place for me and my family. We had a great time and my daughter loved playing in the sand in the backyard area.

Very Quaint Bungalow

Place was not exactly what we were expecting. There was no yard for our dog to use the bathroom. The window units all had red lights for dirty filters. Freezer was all iced up. Beds were comfortable though. Living room was nice. Bathroom was very small and shower was extremely small. I could barely fit in the shower. Overall stay was adequate. I doubt that we will ever stay there again.

The property is older with only 1 bathroom. But is a nice size and is very comfortable. There are tons of items for use which is really nice. The bunkhouse is nice be needs a bathroom. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great little house with ALL the toys!

We had a great stay and loved this cottage! The house has a great lay out and is nicely updated. Our sons loved having a separate bunkhouse and the outdoor shower. The kayaks, paddle boards and closet full of beach gear were a great addition to the rental. We will take advantage of the volleyball and outdoor toys when it is not so hot. There are multiple kayak launches and private beaches in the area. We will stay again!

Beach Vacation

When we read some of the other reviews in regards to this cottage being hot and unable to cool off in peak heat we were very leary. We came in and it was super cold and extremely comfortable! No worries one bit after that! Kevin has all the necessities you need to enjoy your stay! He was very responsive to our message when we did have a hiccup and got us going again in a matter of minutes! We honestly couldn’t be happier with our choice of a cottage while here. Just FYI…if you bring your pups with you there really isn’t a great area to let them out to go to the bathroom so you will have to take them out and walk them but PLEASE make sure to pick up their poopies! The neighbor people seemed really nice, although we didn’t speak, but…they do have a very large dog that roams around outside and does poop in the yard so be careful walking around. That would be our only issue we had while there! All in all it was a GREAT TIME!!! Make sure to add your letter to the guest book on the table between the 2 chairs! It was fun reading all of them! We will definitely be back…hopefully sooner than later! THANKS KEVIN!!!!

Great location & Amenities

Overall the week was enjoyable. The location is on the Canal at the dead end as described with all the amenities for water activities. The only downside was that the home is older and could use some updates. But overall would recommend for the price, you can’t beat it!

It is a very open cottage with hard wood floors and ceilings. It is a quiet neighborhood walking distance to the marina, restaurant and bar and a place where everyone knows your name. The back bays are great for jet skiing, kayaking and traveling to great restaurants and bars by kayak, Paddle-Board or boat. Enjoy watching the dolphins and incredible sunsets. Neighborhood is great for walking, canoeing and kayaking, swimming and fishing.

We have Ocean Kayak, Stand Up Paddle Board, Surf Board and Beach chairs for you to use. We are also along the Orange Beach Canoe/Kayak trail.
