We loved being able to bring our Yorkie to the beach with us. It was great to find a place that isn't just dog tolerant but actually loves being a dog friendly place.
The bed was comfortable, and the condo was very well air conditioned. The bathroom was small but was fully stocked with clean fresh towels. Way more than i needed. The kitchen was small but very functional. I would love to stay there again.
The waves was very pet friendly. No extra fees which is amazing. The air conditioner in the bedroom worked very well but was very loud. The front door was hard to lock but host was told about it.
GREAT location!! Off the deck, up the dune and there's the ocean, couldn't get much closer. Being on the first floor, you cannot see the ocean from the deck, but there are no stairs!! So its perfect for pets. Unit was well equipped for a couple's stay. Comfortable beds in a rental are hard to come by, but this one was perfect! And it's a KING!! Maybe could use some updates but everything works as it should. Owner was very responsive and a pleasure to chat with. My wife & I, and our Gizmo enjoyed our stay.
We were in town for a pre-drywall inspection on our new house. Our original rental fell through with plumbing issues and water damage 3 days before our trip. We were lucky to find this as we had a Great Dane and a Frenchie along for the week. While small, it had enough room for our large dog bed and a small one in the family room. We moved the ottoman out of the way. It's an older unit but has everything needed for a brief stay. If you are looking for luxury this is not that but if is functional. We did not cook during the week, electing to go out. The fenced in area in the back was fantastic for the dogs to be able to enjoy outside and come in and out. I'm a crazy neat freak so I cleaned daily. Swept up sand (it is right on the beach!), wiped counters, shook out rugs and swept them off, and cleaned floors. Basically treated it as my own for the week. I worked while there with no issues. I had to ask a neighbor where the washer and dryer were - luckily directly outside our door so I was able to wash the dog sheets that I brought with me to cover the dog beds several times. I wasn't sure at first but as the week went on we sort of got used to being in the small space and we are coming from a 4900 sq ft house.Location is great! Steps to the beach and the dogs loved it! The correspondence with the owner was great too. No issues with check in, etc. Overall, it's not luxury - but I'd stay there again.
Our first visit to Cherry Grove Beach with our dog Elliott was great while staying in Nellie’s Nook. The location and access to the beach was excellent. The condo was comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen, WiFi, cable tv, and nice furnishings.
We had some miscommunication about the Villa number - we were supposed to have villa 2 but had Villa 4 on the correspondence. It was really convenient to the beach and was dog friendly. Plus on the first floor, no steps!
It could've been a bit cleaner but overall was a fun stay. Didn't use the dishwasher because it wouldn't latch.

A nice “find.”
Though an older property, it is beautifully maintained, nicely furnished, well supplied, and very comfortable. Excellent beach access. Would recommend.
We wanted to get away but really didn’t want board of dogs. Found this condo a we couldn’t have been happier. I didn’t know how to rate the communication, I rated it a 3 but there was no need to have any. Check in was amazing, property was as described and there was no issue at all to contact management for. The gated deck was awesome, we spent a lot of our time there. The stay was great. We will be back again.
First time on ground floor, just couldn't manage the stairs with a cane, walker, or portable oxygen concentrator. The room was just as pictured, clean, neat, cozy. We were not aware that the Cherry Grove Pier was closed! Hope it will open back up soon! Our 2 yr. old toy poodle enjoyed her first trip to the beach, the first of many, we're sure. My health is not the best right now, and nothing but the calming sound of the ocean, and quiet prayer can give me total peace. We will be back, Lord willing.

Clean, cute & convenient!
My wife and I loved this place for a three-night stay. Even though it's a small place, they make such a good use of space. Still plenty of storage even if you are staying for a week. First floor so easy loading in and out, and we love the communal back deck leading straight to the ocean! Lots of nice extra touches too. For example, it has a hand-held shower! We use these at home, and I always bring one when we travel because even high-end places NEVER have hand showers. We had a good laugh when we found we didn't even need ours! (If there's anywhere you NEED a hand shower, it's at the beach!)
We ill definitely book this little cabana again!

My mini vaca
I loved the idea of being able to walk right out to the beach, but once you get to the top of the hill you have to walk down a steep slope to get onto the beach. With bad knees I was not able to do this. I had to walk down 2 houses to the public walk over to get on the beach. The property description is misleading you cannot walk out to beach unless can get up and down the dune.
The property is in a nice location. Parking is hard to get in and out of with the way the parking lot is set up. The room I was in the air was sticky feeling / humid, and the floors were dirty. It did have a new dishwasher but the fridge was really olf and looked as if it had rust on it. The bathroom was nice and clean (except floor). The living room furniture could use an upgrade. When you sit you sink. I hung out in the bedroom the whole time.

Could be great
The property was definitely steps to the beach with no stairs which was great however when we got there there were crumbs on the kitchen table, white stuff on the floors and countertops. I had to vacuum and the property owner for the property next door offered to mop the floors. The bedroom closet doors were broken so we were not able to open or close them all the way. Base board under the dishwasher was missing and there was food there. Fridge was dirty on the top and on the side. Only one of the four burners worked properly. No pots or pans to cook with other than a small, dirty sheet pan. The cover on the fire alarm was missing. One of the drawers in the living area had crumbs or something in it so I cleaned that as well. The rug in the living area had what appeared to be dried up dog poop that was ground into the rug.
The property manager was quick to respond but did not offer any assistance when I talked to her. I mentioned things on the floor that looked like rice she said they used to have a mouse in there that would leave droppings that looked like white rice but that my dogs would be able to tell if there is one there or not.
Shower is good for people who need to bathe their dogs. Fenced in area outside was perfect for my two dogs so they could relax and not bolt to the beach. Comfy sofa. Nice TV with lots of channels.
Weather was very unseasonably cold, for our week. Heaters in unit not comfortable temps throughout unit.
Unit needs a little cleaning, and updating, especially the fan/vent in the bathroom(very dirty). Ants in the kitchen. Gaps in bottom of outside doors.
Was given the wrong unit number in communication from owner.
