Not recommended- needs DEEP cleaning
Starting with the positives: pretty good location, about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach if you cut through the back. Parking was very easy, and there are restaurants that you can walk to as well as a grocery store a few miles away. At night it was fairly quiet although we could sometimes hear the neighbors.
However, when we first entered we noticed an overpowering smell- there were three air fresheners plugged in, and there was a distinct odor underneath that overpowering chemical fragrance which we determined was very soiled carpet. I do yoga every day so I could easily tell how badly the carpet needed to be cleaned. There was hair on top of the washer and dryer, hair and dirt inside the dresser drawers, dirt on the walls going up the stairs, a greasy film inside and around many of the cabinets, and stains on the walls along high traffic areas. The refrigerator had crumbs and stains inside and clearly hadn't been cleaned. The downstairs bathroom smelled like urine, and the sinks and bathtub all had scum and build up. To top it all off, the grill was DISGUSTING. One night we were trying to make the best of it and cook out- when we took the cover off we were almost knocked over by a fish smell. The cooking surface and grease traps were horrifying. They clearly haven't been cleaned in YEARS.
This place is in desperate need of a DEEP cleaning, and possibly should have the carpet replaced. We would have such a great time at the beach but honestly when we would return home to shower and get ready for dinner it was just a huge let down.
