About this property
2 BR 3 Min Walk to Medical Center and UVM!
This spacious 2-bedroom apartment is the first floor of a charming 1880 s farmhouse that I m restoring. It s a 2-3 min walk to the Medical Center and UVM, and a 6 min walk to the Double Tree Conference Center. Sun porch. Well-equipped kitchen. Big backyard. Great neighborhood. Guests have commented that they like that the two bedrooms are at either end of the apartment, so the occupants of each room have their own space.

i needed to get to a violin shop in burlington. with a week off my friend snd i made it a short but gun get away ftom the bustle. we loved the house. it was lovely and quiet and served our needs Cjbdy our host was so welckming. we look firward to anither visit
I cant express enough how kind Cindy was to our family as we had an extended stay at UVM. It is a very short walk up a small inclined walking path to get up by the parking garage from her house.
We were visiting UVM with my daughter, and we had a lovely time meeting Cindy. She was very kind and helpful with local dining and sightseeing ideas. She also generously accommodated our travel plans and let us arrive a few hours early. It's an older home, so the bathroom is small (single sink, no vanity) but the shower was updated and comfortable. The living and bedroom space is quite cozy, and the location can't be beat!
We had an enjoyable stay in this great location in Burlington. Cindy was easy to communicate with, and she provided many amenities for our stay. The apartment is bright and clean, and we were very comfortable here.
My family and I (3 adults) stayed here over Christmas for a few days. Great, quiet, convenient location in Burlington, easy to get to off the highway. Very quiet area, comfortable house, just perfect for the 3 of us. We enjoyed the fireplace, playing games around the large dining room table. We brought our own games, but there were plenty also supplied by Cindy! We brought our own food, bc my son has food allergies, so we needed a full kitchen. Well stocked kitchen and also eggs & milk and other staples in the frig to use (nice touch!). A couple cookie sheet pans would be good to have, as we made gluten-free pizzas. I brought my own pan, so we were ok. The house was perfect for our short stay and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Cindy!
Perfect when you need two rooms. The rooms on opposite ends were very convenient. Kitchen was well appointed and stocked. Lovely dining room. Would be a great place to sit on private in war er weather.
What a stroke of luck to find Cindy & her beautiful charming yellow house & grounds - we felt like we were home! Everything was perfect & so convenient for us! Nice touches were everywhere, & it was very helpful to have various things stocked in the fridge, freezer & cupboards. We have a new Burlington friend that we look forward to seeing again on our next visit! Thx Cindy!
Home is equipped with all necessities and A/C, plus a small wrap around porch and garden (in process). Close to UVM campus.

My husband and 2 young adult children stayed here for 3 nights for their sister's graduation from UVM and the location could not have been better. We easily walked to everything. There was off street parking and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. The beds were clean/comfortable. The shower was nice with hot water and there were plenty of towels. The host (who I never had a chance to meet) left snacks and extra food, including coffee. I also appreciated that there were extra outlets, including next to the bed, which sometime hotels don't even have.
That said, we have stayed in a lot of homes over the years, and this was not a 10. It was also not a 4 as a previous reviewer wrote. If you are looking for a picture perfect newly updated home, this is not it. The owner notes that she is working on restoring it but what might be "charming and character" to one person is going to feel dirty and disorganized to another.
Here are our take-aways and recommendations:
1. All the important things were clean but the walls, (eg bathroom), could use a good wipe down. Have bedroom rug cleaned. Dust.
2. Put a lock on the bathroom door, particularly since it doesn't latch easily.
3. We had trouble finding more than 4 forks. We don't need fancy cutlery but extra is helpful.
4. Update the photos with any changes (sunroom) and better represent the bathroom, which is generally very important to people.
5. Keep iron and ironing board together.
Hope this helps the host and next guests!
Lovely old house in a great location! Cindy was amazing! I love old homes and this one did not disappoint! Great sunroom and a kitchen well stocked with anything you could need! Thank you!
The house was easy to locate and quiet! So nice and cozy, plus we didn't hear any airplanes!

First of all, the host was nice. We were delayed and she left lights on for us. Candy on the pillows was also a nice touch. However, that’s where the good ended. The place was old, outdated and I’m not even sure if the electrical and outside entrance were up to code. Bathroom was very misrepresented in the photos. And the only tv that was there did not work. Seemed as though it was not even setup to internet. I messaged the host about it and no response. Absolutely overpriced.
We really enjoyed our stay - the location was perfect (we were visiting our son at UVM), the property was charming and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked - Cindy stocked the fridge and cupboards with more than just basics, which we really appreciated. My son's one request for our visit was a homecooked meal, which was very easy to put together in this kitchen. Cindy is the kindest, most generous VRBO host I have encountered - she even brought us some delicious homemade pesto made from her basil harvest! She gave us lots of good insight into things to see and do in the area - she knows Burlington well! We will definitely book her property again.
Very comfortable house for our family. Great location and close to UVM. House was very clean with wonderful character and nice space. Excellent host, too!
The apartment was large, very comfortable and so thoughtfully stocked with some basics (coffee, yogurt, milk, seltzer) to make our morning easy and pleasant. We would stay here anytime we are in Burlington.
