Spectacular Views!! Beautifully Updated!! No Resort Fees!

Hurricane Update: Flippers (onsite restaurant), Lover's Key State Park and the beach of Fort Myers Beach are open and as viable as ever. Several of the restaurants on the south end of Fort Myers Beach remain closed, but there are many restaurants open on the north end of the island (via trolley) and Bonita Springs shopping and dining is at100%

Imagine yourself just steps from what the Travel Channel calls #4 of the 10 best beaches in the world! Nestled on Black Island where there are only 3 other buildings, Lover's Key Resort and views from our condo boast unprecedented water views, dolphins, manatee, sea turtles, and more. Don't confuse this unit with some of the smaller condos in the same resort. Not only are we located on the 10th floor where the views are nothing short of amazing, but our condo is much larger than many of the other units in the building. The unit has a full-size, modern, fully furnished kitchen, flat screen TV, king size bed, jacuzzi tub, separate shower, pull out sofa bed and more. Wireless Internet is also included free of charge. This is our favorite unit of the 2 that we own!!

On site, the resort offers an amazing geothermal pool with a cascading waterfall, hot tub, laundry, restaurant/bar (the best one on Fort Myers Beach, in our opinion), gas grills and more. While there is a small beach at the resort itself, Lover's Key State Park is only 1 mile away and easily accessible by trolley, private vehicle or on foot.

Lover's Key Resort is located on the more elegant and quieter, south end of the beach. Just a short trolley ride away (approx. 75 cents) is the hustle, bustle, and action of the north end of Fort Myers Beach and the famous Fort Myers Beach Times Square. There you will find countless bars, night, clubs, restaurants, and shops. Head south about 20 miles to Naples (no trolley service) and check out 5th Avenue and the world class shopping and dining that is offered there.

Boat rentals, fishing trips, golf courses, Everglades tours, kayaking, shelling, para-sailing, and more are all nearby.

Upon first using the shower and sink the stench was terrible having to put in ceiling fans and open the balcony door the entire day. It’s dated but sufficient, needs new couch.Excellent views watching dolphins strand feed drinking coffee every morning. Secluded to a degree with awesome lovers key park across the street.

Great place and views in peaceful Lovers Key
Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) really enjoyed our stay! As many have said, the view from the room/balcony is awesome. The unit is well stocked with kitchen items, towels, etc. We really appreciated the extra beach towels and beach chairs. We used the on-site laundry (on first floor near lobby) mid-week for a reasonable fee and didn’t have any issues. Lovers key is a really nice area if you want to have some distance from the crowded fort myers beach area. There is still some post-hurricane construction and bridge work going on in the area but it was to be expected and did not negativity affect our stay. If you are wanting to walk to the beach, as of date of this review, that is not possible due to construction. Thanks for sharing your place!

From the time we booked til the time we got home from the vacation, the host had great communication with us. By far the best experience we've had with renting vacation spots. The condo had the perfect views and felt very homie. A close drive to all the spots we wanted to visit. Would definitely rent again ❤️

March weekend getaway
The views from this condo are second to none. Sunrise and sunsets are fabulous. We saw all kinds of marine life and even saw the rocket stream as it launched one morning from Cape Canaveral. The owners were super helpful and easily communicated with. The pool is very nice great resort feel right on the bay. Lots of action with the boats & jetski's whizzing by. We live in Florida so planned timing well to spend one day out on Sanibel. Traffic is terrible so if you want to do that be prepared to leave very early but well worth perfect day out on the islands. Take a boat ride out of Captiva early is wonderful. Otherwise I would recommend keeping activities close to the condo so you're not sitting in your car for hours. Lovers Key State Park is beautiful lots to do and just down the street. The food at the restaurant on site was very good. Next time I would just order pick up from there and dine on condo balcony with much better views. Condo has eclectic decor. I would recommend updating with more comfortable couch & chair in living room. The bed was comfortable. I may have missed it but I think you will only be able to stream prime video, Netflix etc for evenings in on your personal device. Overall for our visit the condo had had what we needed. We will be keeping this on our list for getaways.

A great Spring Break getaway
This condo offered an absolutely breathtaking view! We were mesmerized by the constant activity: boats cruising by, jet skis zipping across the water, and even dolphins swimming playfully right in front of us. We felt incredibly safe and secure during our stay.We visited during Spring Break, and while there were numerous restaurants within a 10-mile radius, the traffic due to bridge construction made travel times extremely long, often 40-60 minutes each way, with additional 90-minute waits at the restaurants themselves. We quickly learned that dining around 3 PM was the best way to avoid the peak crowds. Thankfully, the on-site restaurant was a convenient and enjoyable alternative.The bridge construction also impacted beach access, requiring us to walk across the bridge to reach the sand. This didn't bother me at all, as I aim for 10,000 steps daily. Plus, the walk turned into a highlight when I spotted five dolphins feeding and playing near the bridge! I was captivated for a good 30 minutes.The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. Their communication was top-notch. I reached out for activity and dining recommendations, and they replied promptly with excellent suggestions. The condo itself was well-equipped with everything we needed, from silverware and kitchen essentials to plenty of towels.Overall, despite the Spring Break crowds and bridge construction, we had a fantastic stay. We came down for our honeymoon. This place was amazing the view is breathtaking. We could sit in the bedroom, in the living room or on the balcony and still have an unobstructed view. We saw manatee, dolphins, and stingrays every day. If you are thinking about booking this place DO IT, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing Holiday Week!
My husband and I were thinking about renting a VRBO in Captiva, FL when this listing popped up as an alternative. The view from the condo was stunning and knowing that the community is in the process of rebuilding after Hurricane Ian, we decided to modify our location. The hosts are lovely. Honestly, they could have been more accommodating from the time I booked the reservation to the day we headed home. One of the best features is Flippers, an amazing restaurant right outside of the pool area. The ambiance, service, and quality were amazing! This is an A+ property and A+ hosts!

Lovers Key resort
Very nice place ti stay and I think reasonable. Dining next door at Flippers was very good. I was surprised to see every building is either new or completely refurbished. Due to the recent hurricane. But it us coming back strong. I would definitely recommend this condo for a nice quiet stay. Communication with the owner was easy and very quick.

Great view from the 10 th floor was amazing. very clean and private. Saw multiple sharks, dolphins, birds and entertained by jet skis and boaters, . Lucky to see space X launch a rocket. Close to Lovers Key beach and wildlife trails.

The perfect condo in a beautiful place
Staying here was amazing! The condo was clean and had so many cute personal touches. The view of the surrounding area from the windows was stunning. The area is still recovering from the hurricane but the hosts were fantastic with helping us decide where to go. Truly a gem! I highly suggest staying here.

Not only can you enjoy our back bay, filled with dolphins and manatee, but views of the Gulf of Mexico are also just a glance in the other direction.
