Unit 9202

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this unit before and it was good, however not so much this trip. The guest toilet was plugged on arrival, the flush handle broke on the master toilet, 2 of the deck chairs were not usable due to the seats being ripped out, screen door on the slider had a huge hole in it, smoke detector missing in the guest bedroom,the whole unit is in need of maintenance. I will stay with Sandpiper again but not in this unit.

Perfectly Located

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is perfectly located; a few steps to the pool/hot tubs and a few steps to the beach. With the security building close by as well, I felt perfectly safe here as an older single woman. The condo has been beautifully maintained and very clean. If the owner is looking at future upgrades, it would be wonderful if the bedrooms had flooring other than carpet. Please never remove the Liveoak tree outside this condo. It so added to my experience of the natural beauty of this destination. I’m back next winter for another 2.5 month stay!

The beds and seating are the most important things to us in a long stay. Having all we need to cook with is. Updated appliances and good taste abound here. Everything is close.

Wonderful place to enjoy Destin

Love the location, on the beach, near all the Destin attractions but usually quiet and secluded.Don't let the golf course fool you -- it's real short, but it's real tricky.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We reported an outage with the internet on our very first day. My daughter is a college student, and she was required to submit papers. Someone from housekeeping came by to try to reset the internet - which I had already done multiple times. The lady from housekeeping promised that she would get my daughter internet access somewhere so she could submit her paper. We never heard from anyone else on staff about the internet outage. Instead, we were forced to drive to a local store to obtain internet access. We had politely asked if my daughter could get internet access from the reservation office or anywhere else on the property to save us from driving to a coffee shop multiple times. No one gave us internet access.

Wonderful HOT vacation

Have stayed at Sandpiper Cove at least 10 years in a row when my family was younger. Now, 30-40 years later, we still very much enjoyed Sandpiper Cove and the unit we stayed. Overall the complex is still very nice but is in need some some updating and upkeep. Simple thin a like new decking, fresh paint and updated furniture would help a great deal. Would definitely stay there again. The reason for a 3 star on cleanliness was a 3” roach in the bathroom and splinters from worn out decking boards.

Disappointed with this unit. The beds were uncomfortable,soiled/stained furniture,dead plants, rusted patio decor/furniture are "eye sores". Cookware needs updating, Online pictures do not display actuality.I will stay at Sandpiper Cove again however, not this particular unit.
