About this property
Rustic Luxury Near Ithaca: Private, peaceful, Beautiful views
Discover this 3-bedroom gem in Ithaca! This handcrafted, rustic-upscale cabin is the perfect getaway. With a king bed, queen bed, two twin beds, and two sleeper sofas in the cozy living room, there’s plenty of room for family or friends. The home features two bathrooms—each with its own shower—along with towels and carefully selected toiletries.
Relax in the living room by the indoor wood fireplace, play board games, sip coffee, or simply enjoy the serenity of the hilltop location. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a 1,200 sq. ft. cantilevered deck offer breathtaking views of the valley, with golden morning light and unforgettable Ithaca sunsets. Watch deer, foxes, birds, and squirrels from the comfort of your custom deck with artisan-made iron railing.
Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, full-sized refrigerator, and two ovens, plus a dining area with seating for four. Step out to the deck and enjoy meals at the stone dining table that seats six. A laundry room with a washer and dryer is located just off the kitchen for your convenience.
The Hilltop House features locally sourced wood and stone finishes and thoughtful artisan details throughout—like a wooden post topped with custom welded ambient lighting. Guests and their furry companions love cozying up indoors during colder months, enjoying the warmth of the fireplace and panoramic views of the landscape.
You’ll also find a large tree-lined yard and plenty of green space off the private driveway—perfect for quiet moments or family fun. Just a short drive from Ithaca, yet tucked away in a peaceful rural setting, this cabin is your perfect home base to explore nature at its finest.
The Hilltop House is a great retreat, especially when you just want a break from the hustle and bustle of life.
You have exclusive access to the Hilltop House, it’s large deck and the outdoor space. Guests are welcome to walk down the hill to the lower part of the property where you can relax by the pond.
There are some neighboring houses up on the hill, so we ask that you do not wander into their yards to respect their privacy.
