The wooded setting with babbling brook offer peaceful privacy and serene natural wonder. Enjoy the view from the porches, relax by the electric fireplace. The cabin also offers the conveniences of a well equipped kitchen, 1 King size bed, 1 Queen sleeper sofa, laundry, and outdoor grill with picnic table. Brookside Retreat is in a picturesque area with mountains, woods, and farmland. Nearby Whaley's Market, a charming country store, offers groceries, necessities, and gifts. Really cozy!

Awesome little loft in the woods, it was nice and secluded.. the road is definitely scary with how many blind curves there are but once I was aware, it was no issue! Super convenient location and definitely awesome hosts. 10/10 recommend!

A lovely quiet getaway

The cabin is 10 min from Pigeon Forge but you really do feel like you're out in a remote area! It was quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was used every day I was there :) My only suggestions are to have a bit more bathroom storage/shelves and to have coffee and maybe basic cooking condiments available for guests but really I have no real complaints. I enjoyed my stay very much and would gladly stay again.

When we arrived the back door was left unlocked and opened, so that concerned us but everything seemed to be okay. I didn't see any babbling Brook, and the other cabins were very close by, so when they said this cabin was private it was not private. There were some loud parties within a hundred yards or so and other cabins within 50 yards. There is no outdoor space except for the deck on the front and side with the hot tub. There is no indoor jacuzzi as was listed in the description. We use the outdoor hot tub late one night and it felt nice but the water smelled bad. Then the next day we looked inside the hot tub and it was filthy with brown gooey stuff stuck to the sides and the filter or whatever those plastic things are that were floating around in it contains nothing and did nothing to clean the water and we're also covered in brown gooey nasty stuff. So we did not use the hot tub again because it was just so dirty. When they say the water does smell like sulfur they are not kidding, taking a shower smells like a combination of sulfur and hard-boiled eggs really strong. This might be normal for well water but it's not very fun or attractive when you're trying to get ready for bed. They said the kitchen was well appointed or equipped, but there was very basic cheap cookware and not much of it. There were plenty of cups and plates and silverware. Also be aware that there is no outdoor space if you want to sit outside in the grass or spend some time in a yard or anything. There is only a very steep Hill the house is built on that is not hospitable for people to relax on. And there is no privacy anyway the neighbors are very close. I think they should be required to take pictures on sites like this so that you can actually see the other cabins nearby to show you how private it actually is. All the pictures showed just this cabin and not a wider view of the property to show how close all the other cabins were. Overall I would say this cabin was a disappointment, and it would have been less so if they at least would have cleaned the hot tub or perhaps even added chlorine to the water so that it didn't stink. I regretted soaking in it after I saw what dirt was in it or algae or whatever the next morning. I think the owners have done the bare minimum here and not much else. The games they included were Yahtzee and checkers, and the checkers were missing pieces so we couldn't even play that. You can definitely get a much better property for the money

Great stay

It was a very cozy little cabin that was perfect my husband and I to spend our honeymoon! The location is great. One slight down side is there is not very much kitchen equipment. So if you plan to do some cooking check to make sure the cabin has what you need. We would love to go back!

30th anniversary trip

Nice little cabin tucked away in the mountains. Perfect location close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Spend the day exploring and come back to relax in the hot tub!

Great little cabin

Our stay was fantastic. We have stayed at this cabin with the previous owners and although it was nice then, Sui Yong and Landon have made some great improvements. They have removed the old somewhat function Jacuzzi in the bedroom and added a nice hot tub on the side porch (that works much better than most hot tubs you will find a rental cabins). They renovated the bathroom & shower (which is very nice), shower has more room. They added new furniture throughout (it's been a few years since we were there). Overall, the cabin is much better than the typical rental. The cleaning staff is great too, they spotted the new shower glass was coming away from the mounting channel and reported it to Sui Young that day and by the next day she had contacted us and setup a repair at our convience (GREAT Host). Very lovely, beware of driveway

This rental was amazing! The priperty was very clean and perfect for 2 people. We the greatest time in Tennessee and we appreciate the opportunity to stay there. We definitely will be back!! The only cons with this property is that if you use the sofa bed then it will be extremely uncomfortable. And the drive way has a steep drop so beware if your car is very close to the ground. Some advice for future renters, make sure to bring your own seasoning for cooking.
