About this property

Family Friendly Beach Vacation Home

Located in the quiet Grove by The Sea community with deeded beach access. This 3 story Florida Beach Cottage Style home has a very open floor plan, perfect for entertaining small and large families alike. Two master bedrooms (both with king size beds), a bunkroom that sleeps four (1 twin bunk bed and one queen bed), and a loft with a comfortable daybed and trundle. All rooms are spacious with hardwood floors throughout and shiplapped walls throughout main level and upstairs master.

Take a morning walks through the Sea Grove Community to the powder white sands of Sea Grove Beach. Spend all day at the beach, or escape to the three large covered porches where you can spend all afternoon reading or playing games.

When hunger sets in, prepare yourself something to eat in our fully-equipped, spacious kitchen, or bike down to Seaside for dinner and ice cream. One of two community pools is located just two lots down, and tennis courts a short walk away. Bicycles (use at your own risk) and beach chairs are also available. You will not be disappointed in our lovely home by the sea!

Great relaxing week
Really enjoyed our stay. House exceeded all our expectations. Easy check-in and communications with our host. House was well equipped and in great location. This was our third stay in the Grove neighborhood. We had a nice quiet week during our off season stay. Close to beach, town and enjoyed neighborhood pool.

Overall, it is a very beautiful property that is well located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The manager was very responsive to all of our requests, only issue was the amount of hot water seemed low after our shower. Otherwise, we look forward to our next stay at the property.

Our Favorite House
Our family of 5 adults have stayed here three summers. There's plenty of room for more people. Four BRs, 3.5 baths, lots of comfy seating in the den and outside on the three porches, a chef's kitchen, bikes and beach chairs! Meticulously clean. Can't wait to return next summer!

We loved this house and it's layout. The house was comfortable and clean and we love the neighborhood (not our first time - liked this house better!). The house provides bikes and the ice machine is a great bonus. Communication with the owner was excellent. We'll look forward to booking again. :)

The house was beautiful, lots of porches, quick walk to pool, and easy access to beach. Only complaint was minimal towels provided at the site requiring us to wash a load each day to make sure we had enough. Everything else was great.

Best house in this enclave!
This house literally was one of the best rentals we have stayed at. No details were missed! We loved the front wrap porch and the kitchen was amazing and plenty of room to sit for 7 people and watch tv! Comfy beds and beautiful baths! The only things you need except food would be body soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Also laundry detergent if you need to wash clothes. The location was perfect! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful well-appointed home!
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home that had almost everything we needed! Bicycles provided with three locks saved us several hundred dollars in rentals. There are plenty of utensils and dishes, nice appliances. Beds are very comfortable. If someone plans to stay in the loft it gets really hot up there so plan accordingly. The house is a little over a mile bike ride to Seaside but that wasn't a problem for my crew. Beach access is easy to locate. If you haven't been to Seagrove, be aware that it is changing very rapidly. Although there was no construction close to this house, there is ongoing construction everywhere, as older beach homes are torn down and newer, very large homes are built. I've visited this area for over a decade, but it has grown so much, I'm just not sure how it will be in the future. Don't hesitate to visit this home, located one lot away from the community pool. Fantastic place! My only complaint was finding only a single wash cloth in the master bath. I'm guessing the cleaning crew just forgot.

The house was just as wonderful as the pictures. We have stayed in many houses on 30A through the years and this was the best equipped property yet. Kitchen had good quality products and anything you could desire, great selection of beach chairs and bikes. Will definitely rent again!

We rented this house for Thanksgiving week. Instructions and explanations were timely and clear, the house was clean and as described in the ad. There was plenty of room for us all. We were pleasantly surprised with the generous amount of bicycles and beach supplies.

Just what we needed!
Staying at “Seas The Day” was just what our family needed! This is our second time staying in this neighborhood, and to me it is heaven! My children loved how close we were to the pool (just down one house!) and I loved the beautiful kitchen that was well stocked with cooking pans and common tools used. We rented a golf cart for the week which allowed us to quickly access the beach, Seaside, Goatfeathers, and the donut store! Everything was clean and there was lots of space to spread out around the house. The front porch was also one of my favorite aspects of the visit! We would definitely come here again!

We always stay in this neighborhood, and this has been my favorite property to date. It’s beautifully renovated and decorated, the kitchen is perfect, our friends loved the fan noise from the guest room fandelier so much that they looked for one online for their own home and didn’t use the fan they brought. We stayed downstairs in the master and never had to fight with the thermostat during the entire stay, and there were no complaints from upstairs about the temperature, although I’d recommend bringing a fan for the loft area if someone is sleeping up there. My teenage daughter slept there with a fan and was perfectly cozy and comfortable. I wouldn’t call the second bedroom a master, but it does have its own en-suite bathroom, as does the bunk room, which was super-convenient as there was no need for bathroom sharing. I love the transom windows throughout, BUT if you’re light-sensitive and you’re in the master be aware that your room won’t be dark until all the downstairs and porch lights are off, so don’t plan on being the first one to bed. Not a problem for our group, but it could be for someone. And I would recommend taking a loud fan for the master for noise, which we did, so I had no issues with sound coming from the living room or porch while I was trying to sleep. Overall it was perfect for our needs and such a charming house! We spent quite a bit of time on the porch in the evenings, too - lots of seating there. I will book this property again in a heartbeat!

Owners Ken & Amie live in the Metro Atlanta area and are the original owners of the home. They built this house to enjoy with family and friends and look forward to some day retiring here. Together they love spending time with family and friends at the beach, lazy days on the shoreline, walks to Seaside for coffee in the morning or dinner in the evenings, and yoga at the local fitness studio, "Balance".

Why they chose this property

The small subdivision sets back off 30A and provides a buffer from all the hassle and bustle during busy tourist seasons making it a peaceful setting to relax on your porch with a book and let the children play outside. Then when you want to get in on all the action down at Seaside, its just a 1.5 mile bike ride or walk away!

What makes this property unique

The pool is only two lots over, & the neighborhood is quiet with no through traffic making it safe for kids to walk or bike to the pool, beach, Seaside Community, or their neighbors homes.
