Close to all, yet a quiet and relaxing getaway. Located in family-friendly Yarmouth Massachusetts, this lovely Cape house has all the essentials for your Cape Cod vacation!

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for dining-in with all the cooking essentials and updated appliances. Washer and dryer is off the kitchen leading to the bunk room (two twin beds). The large family living room is complete with flat screen TV, cable, wifi, DVD/VCR/Blu-ray player, books, and board games. The two large bedrooms each have a queen size bed and share a full-size bathroom.

The outdoor space with large patio and backyard has room to grill, dine, play, and sun bathe. Outdoor shower as well.

You can find great local cuisine nearby with easy access to shops, groceries, movie theatres, and Rt 28. Bring your bike and cycle the historic Cape Cod Rail Trail. A beautiful home that is great for all seasons!

Location, location, location

Perfect location, steps away from free shallow beach, minutes away (by car) from paid Seagulls beach. Pros: Location is purrfect. Mattresses are fine. Shower water pressure acceptable. The kitchen is nicely stocked, the cookware was all stainless steel and there are plenty of utensils. Cons: Fridge was leaking water and outdoor furniture needs updating. Overall, this is a solid property, would book again in flash.

The Smith Cape Cod Vacation

What a perfect vacation house especially since our grand dog could come with the family. We were 5 minutes away from our favorite beach Seagull Beach which was perfect. The house was clean and neat. The backyard patio needed to be swept and the furniture had to be washed which we cleaned. Otherwise the backyard was nice and private. The kitchen is missing a toaster I did text Dominic to let him know. We definitely would like to come back next year. Thank you for sharing your summer home with us. Sandi Smith

Family reunion

Overall, it was fine. The house is a classic Cape with good bones. The outside could use a little sprucing up with paint and a new screen door at the front. Inside was inviting. We searched for a toaster (an essential for our group), but couldnt find one. The fridge is an older model and was leaky. Family fun included a baby shower and a murder mystery dinner. We had a good time.

Perfect stay

Great Location but Needs Some TLC

My fiance and I enjoyed our stay in West Yarmouth. To start with the positives, the house was in a fantastic location. A 5 minute walk to Colonial Acres Beach. A 5 minute ride to downtown Hyannis. The layout of the property was fantastic. The house is small but has a good sized living room and plenty of sleeping room. Having the fenced in yard for our dog was wonderful. However, we did have cleanliness issues during our stay. Upon checking in, the home was not clean. We found cheez it wrappers under couches, in drawers. The lawn had straw wrappers EVERYWHERE. The comforters were covered in dog hair and stains. Side tables were dirty. Although I do understand it is a cottage on Cape Cod, we must have had to get rid of at least 10 spiders inside the home. I did report this to Dominic and he refunded our cleaning fee which we appreciated. He offered to send a cleaning service back in, but I preferred to do it myself. The property could be kept up a bit better. Grass was long and there were holes on the front lawn and back yard. Mattresses are cheap and uncomfortable. Outdoor furniture is old and flimsy. Also, FYI trash bags, toilet paper, etc is not stocked in the house, so bring your own. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the house has great bones, but needs a little love. Dominic was a kind, accommodating host.

Late Summer getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The home had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. The house was close to everything. We had great weather and enjoyed the beautiful beach every day. It was wonderful to be able to bring our dogs. Thanks for sharing your home🙂

Wonderful stay

House is perfect for a casual family vacation with a dog. Not fancy but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. Having a back yard for the dog was great. The neighborhood was quiet but close to everything. Was able to explore much of the cape. Including several dog friendly spots. The farthest was Provincetown, which was an hour away. Colonial Acres Beach is 10 min walk and unlike most beaches in Cape Cod, parking was free. Spent many hours swimming and fishing. Dominic was great and responsive. I highly recommend this house.

Great stay!

Great house in close proximity to the beach. House layout gave our family of 6 much needed space with a bigger kitchen to accommodate us. Spent most days at the beach within walking distance and didn’t have to drive far to get whatever we needed. Definitely recommend!

Great location

The house is well maintained and very comfortable. We loved being able to bring the dogs along. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do while on the Cape. We kayaked the Bass River, rode bikes along the rail trail, spent a few hours at the inflatable park, played mini golf, walked downtown Hyannis and took a short ride to spend the day in Province Town. The house is located in a great neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. There are many restaurants close by and so many places serving delicious ice cream. We didn’t have the best weather, so having a comfortable living room to watch movies and play games on a rainy day was key. We had a really great time while staying at this location.

Quaint Cottage short walk to beach and Dog Friendly!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The back yard with outdoor shower is a great way to unwind with the dogs after a day at the beach. The space is perfect for a family getaway, and the location is excellent to get to all the attractions that route 6 has to offer.

Perfectly located

We really enjoyed our stay in West Yarmouth. The walk to the beach was enjoyable. Colonial Acres beach is small and was never crowded, and the views were outstanding. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Loved having the outdoor shower to wash off after the beach! The fenced in yard was great for our dog. The patio and outdoor dining could use an upgrade but all of our outdoor time was basically spent at the beach. This was a perfect Covid getaway before our kids start their remote school adventure!

Centrally locates base for Cape excursions

We chose this cozy, clean home because of its relative affordability, pet policy and central location on the Cape. It was clean and had all necessary amenities for a stay of the type we had in mind. We could not bring our dog to the local beach, however, since a law was passed a few years ago prohibiting pets on beaches in the Cape during the summer months; only a few beaches allow dogs, requiring a drive to Eastham or P-Town. But the drive is easy enough, and we were also able to easily access Hyannis’s ferries, visit Chatham, Wood’s Hole, etc. A very nice, clean place for small families seeking some time to explore the Cape.

Cute cottage near the beach

Cottage is neat and clean in a lovely neighbourhood of cape cod style shingle homes. Great place for a simple beach holiday. We loaded up our beach cart each morning and walked 10 minutes to the beach. Came home in the evening and grilled on the little charcoal grill. The backyard is completely fenced in which was great for our little dog and the kiddos. There's a tree in the backyard for some welcome shade and a fun outdoor shower.

Happy + so relaxed

Let's start with my biggest issue... cleanliness. I always drop my bags and then inspect. I was so relieved that this house was actually CLEAN, especially the kitchen and bathroom which usually skeeve me out in hotels/rentals. I was so happy about this. And no carpets which was great. They are usually disgusting. Once I found that the entire home was clean, I could relax. We felt at home. It is the perfect space for about 6. I had three adults in my party. I thought the one bathroom would be an issue but it wasn't. I'm also super thankful that we were able to vaca with our 4 yr old lab, Cocoa. The grassy backyard is a nice size and enclosed which I loved for privacy and Cokies could sniff around freely. There is an outdoor shower which is nice and a hose which was super convenient to clean the fish we caught at the beach a few blocks away. There are VHS classics which were fun to watch. I hadn't done a Taebo workout in 4ever, lol. You are also close to restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, parks, downtown Hyannis. There is a dog park nearby that we usually walk to. Mayflower is a very low traffic, quiet street which is also lovely. This home is close to everything you could possibly need, especially the beach!!! Great house in a Great Location

The house was great. Very clean with all the amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beach is about 3 blocks away. We either dropped everything off or parked if there was a spot (they are limited). We did walk one day. The beach was very private and not crowded at all. The location of the house was perfect. It was close to everything. We would definitely rent again.
