This place has the potential to be amazing. When we arrived the front area was FLOODED. It didn't affect us as much as it did the other properties connected to it BUT we had people invading our space and privacy and would walk across our front deck to jump over the railing to avoid walking through the dirty rain water.
There is NO AC in the common area, Its a HOT BOX. Oh and the sofa fits maybe 3 people, for a rental that fits 8.
If you're ok with washing pots and pans every time you want to reheat food or a cup of coffee then this is the place for you. NO MICROWAVE! This property is BEACH FRONT, that's the amazing part of it. How does the owner NOT have beach chairs or beach umbrellas for guest to use?? No big deal, you can rent beach umbrella $20 and beach chair $10 per day. Depending on how many people you're with, it can get costly, so we spent an extra $110 per day (3 days) to rent 2 umbrellas and 7 beach chairs as we had 7 people all together. Very easy for other beach goers to trespass. Antonio, your shopping list: Microwave, beach umbrellas and beach chairs and a bigger sofa, oh and bathroom curtains. We made the best of it, probably won't be back.
Location, property, & security was fantastic. I would definitely stay again. Only thing that was missing was a microwave as their restaurant closes early on weekdays and it was an inconvenience to warm up food (pans weren’t great) if you wanted a snack later on or in the morning or even just wanting to heat up your coffee.
Crash Boat is one of my favorite beaches and the location of this property ir right on the beach. The property is beautiful. I enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony, amazing snorkeling around the pier, afternoon BBQ and comfy beds (a/c works great too) for a great night's sleep. Full kitchen is important for me as I enjoy preparing meals. Plenty of towels. Parking is a plus. Communication was great. This is my second time staying here and will be back again.
This property is RIGHT on one of the best beaches on the west coast of Puerto Rico. You can't beat walking out and being on the beach within 10 seconds. My only critique is the kitchen and beach selection is super bare bones. Bring seasonings, aluminum, baking sheets, etc. if you're planning to cook. Also, bring your own beach umbrella and chairs if you plan on being out all day as the house does not have any of these. Otherwise it is PERFECT.
We visited Aguadilla for my Great Grandmother's 102 and this place was perfect for a small family get together. There were 8 of us, and it did not feel overly crowded, and looked exactly how it's shown in the pictures. We had direct access to the beach and the restaurant was walking distance.
Beautiful property in one of the most beautiful beached in the world. Having a kitchen was great. It was well equipped. The full sized refrigerator with ice maker was a plus. The BBQBeds were comfy. Bathrooms beautiful and clean.
This place is just like the photos and at a prime location, Crash Boat Beach — which is a top beach in 🇵🇷. Everything during our stay was great and we had a great time. Plenty of space, parking and fun. There’s a restaurant on site, you’re right in front of the beach and can even buy from local vendors and the cocoloba empanada shop. Would stay here again. The only things to call out are the lack of a microwave in the unit (not a big deal for us but good to know) and that people tend to be at the beach early so you might hear people and music in the morning from the beach. Again, not a big deal for us but just fyi! Thanks so hosting us Cocoloba!
The location of the property is excellent. Crash Boat beach has something for everyone in the family. We did snorkeling and paddle boarding. You can also book for jet ski rentals. There are places to eat with excellent food and the sunset is to die for. The casita had everything we needed and the view is spectacular as you're steps from the beach. The property manager, Coral, was wonderful and provided us with a listing of places to visit in the surrounding area. We will be staying here again next year, we highly recommend it.
I love crash boat beach and on vrbo there are not many options to stay at the beach. Even though the beach is beautiful the house is nothing like the listing they have not updated anything! Some of the A/c units had issues staying cold there should be mosquito nets and knowing you are on the beach a vacuum should be available to get rid of the sand from the beach. The showers had only cold water the WiFi did not work, the owner had to bring us a hot spot and the tv did not work. Due to covid during our stay we had a curfew and had to be inside by 9pm so we had to buy board games to play at night since we could not watch a movie or tv. Not to mention the listing specifically states that there is a washer dryer which is a big necessity while renting a house and that amenity did NOT work. How are you supposed to have dry beach towels dry your wet bathing suits nothing. The owner offered late on our last day to do laundry service for us, but being in Puerto Rico we like to see the island so how were we supposed to be home to get that situated. They are spending way more time building new houses instead of paying attention to their original properties. Moldy cushion and mangled patio chairs on the balcony and no beach chairs available very unappealing. Not to mention there was furniture falling apart in the whole house.
Quaint property exquisitely decorated for a relaxed time. The house is just steps away from pristine , calm and crystal clear beach. Spend your day in the sand and simply walk back to the house as you see fit to eat, drink or get some shade. Bring your snorkeling gear! Loved outdoor shower ! Just bring your bathing suits and breath the salty air!

Beautiful!
The house itself is beautiful! Alberto & Shannon did an amazing job remodeling their home, after the hurricane. It shows. It was roomy, chic, comfortable, clean and quiet (minus the crashing waves at night). There was a fully stocked kitchen (minus food/drinks), bathrooms and AC. I can't say enough about the house. Kudos! Bravo! Now onto FULL DISCLOSURE: The home is located in a very secluded/dark area (right on the beach). It's surrounded by remnants of Hurricane Maria (abandoned homes, damaged homes, metal fencing surrounding cargo container where a business is run out of). Due to this, you only get a partial view of the beach. This, of course, is of no fault of the owners. Blame nature. And PR is still in recovery mode. If I'm rating the house, I give it 5 stars! If I'm rating location/view, I give it 3 stars. Location was a little too dark and isolated for me. I also wished I had met one of the owners or Jose (the house manager). Jose, by the way, was great in responding to all my inquiries in a timely manner. I'm sure once PR gets back on their feet, this property will be amazing! Thank you, Shannon, Alberto and Jose, for sharing your beautiful home.
