The property and house were beautiful, however, it was advertised as four bedrooms. I assumed that all four bedrooms would be heated, but the one in the basement did not have heat. This would be an amazing summer rental, but the bedroom in the basement could not be utilized and people had to sleep on the couch upstairs where there was heat
Amazing location, home is a little older but has everything you need!! Would defiantly stay again.
Beds are not comfortable, bring mattress pad if can.
Everything was great , we DID have to clean when we arrived as the place was so dusty ants spiders cob webs, had to find everything our selves figure everything out. When we lost power or called Linda for questions she had no clue seemed like she had never been there. My group and I stayed two extra nights as Linda offered that to us. We cleaned so much the place looked so good and much better than we arrived. Linda asked us to send her photos of the place before we checked out early in the morning we did she was so happy. Than started to harasss me blowing up my phone said people like me should not exists in the world a liar evil. I was so confused. She than said you left this place a mess after seeing all the pics ( and coming the day before seeing how clean it was in person) so needless to say we enjoyed our week at the lake house but did not expect for Linda to treat me or harass me with unprofessional text messages and phone calls. She has a cleaning lady which is part of the fee and said one thing one moment and another thing the next it honestly seemed like she had never even been there. She didn’t even know about her own policy manual book. Other than Linda. We had a wonderful time!
The whole family had a wonderful 4th of July week at this classic Winnipesaukee lake house. The beach is beautiful and sandy, with clear water and a very gradual slope in. The view of the lake from the house is just beautiful. The house has a 3/4 bath and full laundry room just in from the ground level door, so super easy clean up straight from the beach, especially with young kids. Everything was clean, the house was well stocked with household items, and the towels were as plentiful as you would hope for at the lake. The book provided by Linda the host has a lot of nice suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. At night with the windows open, you fall asleep listening to the waves, and then wake up with the loons calling in the morning. An overall great stay, and highly recommended. We will definitely book again.
We had a great time at the property, which was very clean. Was dismayed that it did not have a hot tub as advertised. My husband, who has a bad back, was looking forward to it. Couches are pilling, which leaves white flecks all over the house. The owner is wonderful and attentive. She even brought fans from home to keep us cool during the heatwave and allowed our Labs to vacation with us. Lake is right across the street. Pretty neighborhood, nice beach. Dogs loved the deck. I'm sorry that they were noisy.
Our stay here was great, it is located nicely next to the lake for swimming ect. The house was nice and had everything we could need and more. It was very accommodating and plenty of room for the 5 of us. I'd certainly recommend it and will look for it to be available the next time we stay in the lakes region area.
Linda was a fabulous host. She responded quickly to any questions we had. We had a great time as a family. There was plenty of room for all of us. Access to the lake was easy and enjoyable.
Great lake access. The house was in a good location. The house needs a little TLC.
