Large studio apartment (sleeps 4) located in Edgecomb, ME, the Boothbay Harbour region. Surrounded by cultivated gardens just yards from water's edge in Sheepscot River Harbour, we enjoy stunning views and sunsets from our cozy, clean and eclectically furnished suite. Kitchenette is well equipped & we cook 3 meals a day here. We are located in a resort on Davis Island Edgecomb, just off Route one. We are one hour north of Portland. There are many wonderful sights in the area -- beaches, eateries, museums, shopping & other attractions.

Amazing stay!
What a pleasant surprise, photos do not do this place justice. We loved the furnishings in the apartment, perfect sunset location, and within minutes of so many things!

Cozy stay in a great location
We really enjoyed our stay! The unit was spotless, the views were gorgeous, and the location was so convenient for food and sight seeing. Nancy was so kind and thorough with check in details/instructions. She even made sure the lights were on since we were arriving after dark - very thoughtful!

Fabulous Short Stay with Friends
We loved staying with Nancy! Super easy to get in contact with her and a perfect place to rent for 3 girls in their 20's. Close to a grocery store although the kitchen is small. Super pretty view with a lovely long dock to walk out on. We loved that there was a rooftop bar right next door and our waiter Marcus was awesome! Such a great location to stay as it is kind of smack dab in the middle between Portland and Acadia. Easy to drive anywhere! Located really close to Red's which is a must eat lobster shack. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful little gem. The studio was nicely appointed with everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Location was easy to find and close to a lot of attractions. Highly recommend.

Rainy fall weekend on the Sheepscot
This property is very comfortable to be in, and pleasant despite a mostly rainy weekend. Bathroom set up is lovely, kitchen is functional, the view from the windows is nice, the pier is fun to walk out on, Fort Edgecomb is close by. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bed is a little hard, and the noise from the upstairs apartment can be quite loud. It sounds like the upstairs apartment doesn't have carpet, and that the inhabitants walk around in loud shoes, heavily. It was disruptive to sleep at times.

All night long bright light shines through the front door and kitchen window which made it hard to sleep. The people on the second floor were very noisy walkers.

Sweet getaway
The rental was exactly as it looked in the pictures! It was pleasantly decorated and quite comfortable. We rented as an anniversary getaway and found wonderful restaurants and things to do and see in the area. Our host was very solicitous with any questions we had. And the sunsets from our room and the back of the property were amazing! I would return and definitely recommend this property!

amazing sunset views!
The property is in a great location just outside of Wiscasset, serving up fabulous water views right out your window. The restaurant right next door is also a nice added bonus, and you can easily walk down the bridge to enjoy one of the local lobster shacks. The unpictured bathroom is spacious with a shower/tub combo. I was glad to see a kettle in the kitchen for tea. The bed could definitely use a topper, the ceiling as others have mentioned is not well insulated, and the kitchen window has an outdoor light that shines through. Overall I found the apartment to be a good value and I would consider staying here again.

You can hear people walking upstairs.The beds are not comfortable whatsoever.The AC unit is very loud . The towels and the property had a musky odor.

I do have some mixed feelings about this apartment. I t was well stocked with everything needed such as paper towels, soap, trash bags, toiletries, etc. A lot of furniture crowded into a small space but it seemed to work. However, every single movement of anyone in the upstairs unit is VERY noticeable and sleep disturbing! Also, there is a very bright outside light (somewhere) that shines through the un-shaded frosted glass kitchen window that contributes even further to a sleepless night. I would not book this apartment again.

Cute and Cozy
It was really easy to check in and out, and it was nearby many interesting attractions. Overall the room was nice, clean and orderly. The one downside was that sleep was not the greatest. I would recommend some new or better mattresses. Other than that, the room had a lovely view of the water and it was nice to be able to sit outside and watch the sun set over the water. A great place to stay, would visit again.

Nice stay for a few days
The place was nice and as advertised. The kitchen seemed well stocked although we didn’t do any cooking while we were there. The place was cozy and very clean and the view and sunsets were nice. We appreciated the beach towels that were supplied as we had forgotten our own. Like previous reviews mentioned, you can sometimes hear the neighbors upstairs, but it really wasn’t bad.
