Apartment Helena is a lovely and spacious ground floor 3 bedroom apartment just 300m from the historic town centre of Supetar and the pretty harbour moored with small fishing boats and lined with restaurants and cafe bars. It is 400m to the beach.
The apartment has a large open plan living dining kitchen room that opens out a dining terrace. Sleeping is in one double bedroom, a twin bedroom with 2 single beds and a single bedroom, plus there is a double sofabed in the living room. There is one shower room. The apartment is fully equipped for an enjoyable self-catering holiday.
Supetar is the capital town of the island where the car ferry comes to from Split. It has a great number of restaurants, cafes, bars and night clubs. Also beaches with water sport activities, fruit and vegetable market, daily fish market, grocery stores and shops.
During the summer months it is truly the heart of the island with many cultural events, island fiestas and an open air cinema and shows. It is only 50 minutes to Split with the ferries that go both ways more than 10 times a day.
Supetar Attractions: Supetar offers fun for all the family. There are 2 giant water slides on one beach plus a small fun pool. In the centre of town is a funfair that has rides for the very small up to teenagers. And there are outdoor slot machines, pool tables and table football. There is open-air shopping for local crafts and jewellery every evening and numerous sellers of fine ice creams to enjoy as you promenade along the harbour side. 4km out of town is a local zoo with domestic animals and this also has a playing and sports area for children. The kids can play whilst mum and dad enjoy drinks at the domestic out door restaurant there.
Getting to Brac: Take the car ferry from Split harbour. Split harbour is 20 kilometres from Split airport. The crossing takes about 50 minutes. The cost per person is approx 6,50 Euro.
Getting to the Property: You will checkin at the office of Dalmatian Property Management in Supetar. The office is 200m from the ferry port. We will supply you with photo directions how to get to the apartment. And will give you information about the region, supermarkets, restaurants and cultural events you might visit during your stay. You will feel completely looked after. And in a case you need anything else DPM personnel will be happy to help.
