This is a wonderfully designed well kept house on the waterfront of the beautiful Mill River, minutes away from a world class golf course, boating access to the ocean and sandy beaches in every direction. See our video, https://youtu.be/8TZI9-F3mP8

There are many great sites to see in this beautiful part of the island sitting on the porch and looking at the river and forests around you is the greatest trait.

A pleasant and relaxing stay in PEI

The property is clean, comfortable, spacious, well-equipped, and in good condition. The online listing is very accurate. The view on the river is very pleasant. The location is near the North Cape - a part of the island that is beautiful but less visited - so be ready to drive 1-2 hours if you want to visit the different parts of the island.

The view in the backyard was amazing. The river was beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and overall stay was good. Very clean. The only thing was that there were a lot of earwigs inside of the house. We couldn’t leave our bags on the floor or they’d crawl into them. Also, restaurants don’t deliver to this address yet.

PEI: my oh my!

Prince Edward Island is magical, and this place is a great way to experience that magic. Early July ended up being good timing if you want avoid crowds. And this part of the island offers plenty to do and really isn’t far from other attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed convenient kayaking and bike rides on lupine lined back roads

Perfect vacation getaway!!

Wonderful week long stay with my wife and daughter and son in law. We loved the quiet location on the Mill River. Nice and clean and it was the perfect layout for our needs. The pictures don't do it justice. We just loved our week in Prince Edward island . Alberton was the perfect spot to enjoy area beaches and lighthouses.

Great location, great vacation.

My family of four stayed for six nights at this property and loved it. Fantastic backyard for relaxing, very comfortably furnished, and well-located in Northern PEI. Plenty to do and see if you can drive to it (beach, restaurants, potato museum, etc.) - we greatly enjoyed it and would definitely return and stay at this property. The listing was accurate in all facets, the owner was incredibly responsive and easy to work with, and the home was really clean and nice. Kitchen is well-stocked with equipment, which is a must for us. My only quibble, and it's a minor one, is that there was no table on the patio. We enjoyed nearly all our meals outside, but having a table would have made it more comfortable.

A home away from home!

From our first contact with Ron, until our last days stay at his beautifully kept cottage, he has been very helpful and extremely hospitable. He welcomed us upon our arrival to the cottage, showed us around and made sure that we had everything we required for a comfortable stay. We arrived fairly late, and when asking about grocery stores, he even went out of his way to call the store for us to ensure that they were open. Ron left us a map with many wonderful suggestions for things to do around the area, which we were very thankful for. The cottage was very spacious, bright and clean, with many amenities. There were many windows to let in the sunlight, the fresh PEI breeze and to provide us with amazing views of the Mill River, which is just gorgeous. The pictures on the website are wonderful, however they don't completely give justice to how spectacular this property really is! The back deck was large, very comfortable and was the perfect spot for relaxing. We were able to watch our kids run around and play in the spacious yard, while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Ron also made our kids vacation memorable when he offered to take us out on his boat and take the kids tubing! We couldn't have asked for a better family vacation. Our expectations were definitely exceeded, and if we were to go back to the Island, we would stay here again. Thank you Ron for your hospitality and for helping make our family vacation one to remember for years to come.

A Bucket List Vacation!

Oh my what a wonderful time we all had in this beautiful house. If you want to relax you have a darling little "house" down by the water that you can sneak away to just to read and be all by yourself. It is wonderful! Very quiet! The pictures of the two houses is very exact. They are very new and very clean. The fellow that meets you to show you the way around is absolutely wonderful and answers all your questions and guides you in anything you want to do. We would certainly recommend this place to all of you that are interested. I am sure you will want to see the surrounding area? The town of Aberton is full of tiny shops, restaurants, a harbor with lovely restaurant and ice cream store. You would be able to have someone take you out on a boat at the "little blue building". This is where you make reservations. But, most of all you will want to go to Cape North to see how the waters divide and possibly walk out on the reef when the tide is down. Lot's of fun! At the Wind and Reff Restaurant two of us got whole lobster, yum yum! This trip and this house is well worth all you could ask. It had everything you could possibly want at your finger tips. We totally recommend you considering this place.

I am from O'Leary which is about 7 miles away. I eventually moved away after university but all my family lives nearby. The people in the area are the warmest and friendly you will ever meet.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I purchased these homes to use when we come back to visit. However, we don't come back as often as we would like and would like nothing more than others to appreciate it.

What makes this property unique

Although, there are many great sites to see in this beautiful part of the island nothing is more beautiful than sitting on the porch and looking at the river and forests around you.
