Avoid Cape traffic while enjoying the feel of a quintessential Cape/Islands beach house retreat. Immersed in nature, “Ocean Blue” is a warm and inviting beach home located in the unique, secluded setting of Ellisville with sweeping views of Cape Cod Bay, Lookout Point Beach and Salt Marsh Pond. Just minutes off the highway, it’s conveniently located just north of Cape Cod.

Breathtaking sunrise views can be seen from the deck, and the beach is ideal for viewing the sunset over Salt Marsh Pond. A path 100 yards from the property opens up onto the expansive beach (deeded beach rights), requiring minimal effort when transporting gear to and from the beach (no stairs!). The enclosed outdoor shower offers a peaceful way to wash away the salt/sand after a long day at the beach. Mid-afternoon shade envelops the deck, making it perfect for reading or enjoying a cocktail. Al fresco dining is enjoyed on either the deck overlooking the ocean, or under the grapevine covered arbor. The shady backyard (.84 acre, very private) offers many activities, including shuffleboard, badminton, horseshoes, hammock, etc.

Water views all around! Four comfortable bedrooms (1 w/ a private walk out entrance onto the deck) allow ample space for 8. Generous seating in the kitchen and dining room provide for indoor dining. The cozy living room and glassed in sun porch, both w/ unobstructed ocean views, are also a wonderful way enjoy the pristine surroundings. There is a 55-inch TV in the family room (FIOS cable/WiFi service).

This house is ideal for family/friend gatherings and lively activity, but it is NOT A “PARTY” HOUSE. While all of the necessary amenities are conveniently located within one mile of the property (supermarket, gas station, liquor store, restaurants/takeout, bank, etc.), the house is located in a neighborhood that borders the tranquil nature sanctuary of Ellisville State Park w/ only four driveway parking spaces and absolutely no street parking (1 lane private road).

Great New England Getaway

Very quiet getaway in a clean and well equipped pet-friendly home. Neighborhood is quiet and rustic, but conveniently close to the basic necessities for shopping and dining. The beach is great for walks, lounging and watching the harbor seals. No crowds on the private beach. Lisa (the property manager) is always very responsive and accommodating.

Great place to relax

The property was spacious, clean and cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Just a 2 minute walk to a quiet beach and a short walk to a really nice state park. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Lovely Home on Cape Cod Bay

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful week relaxing at Ocean Blue. The beach and salt marsh, both just a short walk away, are beautiful and wild. The home is well appointed and comfortable. The sun porch is wonderful for reading and relaxing. Lisa is responsive and helpful. Thank you!

Beautifully kept home with worlds of wildlife. We saw seals multiple times right in the surf at the beach. We took beautiful walks, saw amazing birds and lived in that gorgeous sunroom. Conveniently located to multiple cape cod points of interest. Super close to grocery, restaurants, conveniences. Loved it!

Extended Family Vacation Week

The property and setting was absolutely beautiful. A perfect spot to relax with plenty of space to gather or find a quiet spot to read. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. Don't forget to bring bedding and towels.

Great place!

Our family had the best time. We were ages 1-74. The house is absolutely beautiful and is stocked with all you need in the kitchen! And then some. The AC works fantastic and we needed it the week we stayed as it was 90+ every day. My husband spent most of his time on the sunporch, which has a great view of the ocean. The yard is great for kids to run around and play. The beach was rocky this year but we figured out to follow the locals and go out right around high tide for ease of access and sand. The kids had fun going out at night looking for crabs which there are tons of. Overall, what a great place to vacay!

A great getaway close to home

We enjoyed a great week with friends and family visiting us throughout the week due to the proximity to home in Boston. We loved the feel of the charming yet spacious beach cottage. We enjoyed every meal overlooking the ocean from the front deck including some who got up early (5am to view the sunrise over the ocean). Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked almost every meal while in town. The kids loved hunting for sea glass and playing in the sand. Only note for those not familiar with the area (like us) Ellisville Beach is quite rocky so bring your water shoes! And finally Lisa was great to work with! So responsive to every question.

Great family house!

We spent a great week at this property. The location to the beach was perfect, the yard was wonderful for off the beach play for a 2 and 4 year old. The house was exactly as shown in the pictures. The beach was great for children to play at the shoreline for hours. Thank you!

Adorable home and great location

We had a lovely time here. Owner was easy to work and communicated throughout the process. Loved the house layout and we had plenty of space for adults and children. The short walk to the beach, the beautiful back yard and the breathtaking views from the front porch all contributed to a fantastic experience for our whole group.

2021 Annual Plymouth Family Vacation

I stayed for a week in July with my husband, two adult children, their spouses and my three grandsons. It was the perfect house with a nice yard, fire pit and most importantly a short walk to the beach. It was very comfortable on the rainy days as well as the sunny days for all of us. It was a convenient location for all our needs. Lisa the owner was very pleasant answering any questions that came up and I felt she genuinely cared about our stay.

Wonderful home in private location

My family of 8 stayed at the house for a week and had a wonderful vacation that exceeded expectations. The location is perfect, the house is private with lots of fun things to do, the beach is across the street and the cape cod canal is 10 minutes away. It’s easy to get to downtown Plymouth or head over the Sagamore bridge and enjoy restaurants and shopping in the cape. If you are looking to relax or for a quiet beautiful yard to enjoy, then you won’t need to leave the house. The owner Lisa could not have been easier to work with and even checked in during some bad weather to make sure everything was ok. We can’t wait to visit again!

A very special property

We were very impressed by this spacious beach home, whose charm has been maintained by preserving much of the original structure and details. We felt instantly at home and just loved feeling like we were in an old school cottage, but with more space and modern amenities. So much charm at every turn. The backyard was an oasis for relaxing, complete with nesting birds and babies. The basketball hoop and shuffle board proved to be valuable for visiting family with kids. Lisa was responsive and delightful to correspond with. Honestly, we loved the house so much that the closeness of the beach and marsh were just an added bonus. Thanks for a wonderful setting to unwind with friends and family.

Blue Paradise

Extremely tranquil location across from a salt marsh and the beach. Lovely view across the marsh to the bay. Beautiful back yard. Well equipped kitchen and the house has plenty of games and puzzles for a rainy day. Very helpful owner. Perfect get away.

Magical Holiday at Ocean Blue

We stayed at Ocean Blue with our two daughters (2.5 years old and 4 months) for two months this summer. We absolutely love the house and the location. The house is very comfortable, well-equipped and nicely decorated. The views are amazing! The backyard is beautiful and large. The beach is literally across the street and is never crowded. It is perfect for little kids with lots of tide pools to enjoy, though the adults enjoyed swimming as well - the water is warm and clean. The owner of the house (Lisa) is incredibly responsive and thoughtful. We can’t wait to come back - it is a very special place.

A beautiful respite!!

My family and I had a wonderful time; full of peace, tranquility and loveliness at this well appointed beautiful home and all of it’s environment. It was even better than what was shown and described in the listing. People with decent aesthetic sensibility will really appreciate the thoughtful architectural, botanical, practical and decorative detail of this home. It’s location near the beach and marsh was ideal. Our insatiable love for nature was piqued. It was conveniently located near any necessary mercantile as well. We would definitely like to return!!

Wonderful beachside cottage
