Villa Sanyanga is a beautiful seven bedroom, fully staffed villa, above Surin beach. We provide a free mini-bus with driver, included in the rental, as well as a private full time chef, and three cleaning staff. The villa is very spacious and can sleep up to 18 or more, depending on how many are children, with plenty of space and privacy for everyone.

There is a beautiful private infinity pool, with shallow end for children, and several outdoor dining areas, a typical Thai Sala by the pool, with revolving table, and sun loungers. Villa Sanyanga is two minutes drive from Surin beach, as well as close to many restaurants and shops, and 15 minutes from the Laguna golf-course.

Located in a private and exclusive residential estate high in the hills above Surin Beach on Phuket’s West coast, this very large villa has spectacular ocean views over the Andaman sea on two sides. Being so spacious, this is perfect for family reunions, large groups of friends, or business team building. There are many separate private areas and the communal area on the pool terrace, with living and dining room, is perfect for everyone to get together.

Villa Sanyanga is one of the most popular luxury rental villas on Phuket Island. It is a “home from home” family friendly villa, with five star service. Our chef Lily has been praised in more than 200 TripAdvisor reviews over thirteen years. She not only produces the most amazing delicious meals, but also manages the villa, and takes care of our guests, ensuring they have a holiday of a lifetime.

We welcome children of all ages, and have baby and child equipment such as pool protection, playpen, 3 cots, 3 highchairs and 4 baby car seats, as well as a table tennis table. You will feel pampered and relaxed, enjoying the spectacular ocean views from the villa, while our chef prepares all your meals, our staff clean the villa, and your driver awaits your request to take you anywhere you would like to go.

Our latest improvements in the villa are a dartboard and table tennis table. We also have several mahjong tables. We have recently created an 8th bedroom. This is a pretty single bedroom sharing an en-suite bathroom with Room 5.

You can have a discounted private yacht cruise too!
We have four luxury power catamarans which sail off the East coast of Phuket as well as two speed boats. We offer our villa guests a discount on a full day cruise on the yachts. This will give you an unforgettable day, sailing amongst tropical islands, swimming, snorkelling or kayaking, having fun on the boat slides or water-scooter, or just relaxing in the floating donuts or floating mats, in the water.

Ask for information about the yacht, and for both the yacht and villa websites. Even if you dont book our villa, you can still go on the private yacht tours, just ask me for details.

If this villa is booked for the time you want, please enquire, because I also let other villas close by, for friends, and can also rent other villas if your group is too large for Villa Sanyanga.

From start to finish we could not have asked for more! The villa is amazing so large and airy, the staff are all fantastic and Lily’s cooking is out of this world so much so that we didn’t eat out once! 10 Year Phuket Reunion

This villa was truly amazing and exceeded our expectations. With three families in the villa, including 8 children aged 9-15, there was plenty of space. Lily was great and catered to all our food preferences and allergies (3 children with Coeliac disease). Nothing was too much for the staff. We enjoyed it that much, we have rebooked!

Had such a great week in this villa. We booked this for our family and invited our parents as well and all had the best week ever. The house is large enough that we all had our own large living spaces and rooms. The villa has some great open spaces around the pool with the best sunrise and sunset views to match. We chose to have Lilly and her team cook for us each night which was perfect. The food is authentic and delicious and very cost effective. Lilly helped to arrange outings and bookings as well. We truely loved every part of this house and Lilly and her team are so helpful and just elevated the experience of every part of the stay

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Sanyanga. We did two days on boats with Tiger Marine Charters which were a highlight. The meals Lilly prepared were excellent and the cost of groceries the most reasonable I’ve seen at private Villa. The villa itself is the nicest I’ve ever been to and days spent at the villa eating and enjoying the pool were a blast! Jone was an excellent driver and all staff was kind, welcoming, and wonderful. I would consider myself very lucky if I ever have an opportunity to stay at Villa Sanyanga again! We loved the quiet location with many shops, spas and restaurants/cafes close by and an easy drive to get to busier locations.

From start to finish the stay at this villa was simply fantastic. The villa itself is beautiful. The pool, the rooms, the dining area, just everything oozed class and luxury. Fantastically furnished, spotless throughout, with all the modern touches you need for a wonderful stay without losing the essence of Thai culture. Let’s move on to Lily and her wonderful team of staff. They are basically full time staff, catering and helping without hesitation for anything we needed. The food was simply beautiful, breakfast, lunch and dinner! Big shout out to Lily and her wonderful team. We also had Jone who was our mini bus driver and superbly drove us around to various locations as and when we needed. Overall I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, regardless of the occasion. Would love to come back.

Our high expectations were exceeded

Having read other guests' reviews we were confident that we would have a great holiday in the house, but what we failed to appreciate was just how amazing the staff were. The food created by Lily was better than any restaurant we had been to in Thailand! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who did everything to ensure we had a brilliant holiday.

There are not enough words to even BEGIN to describe how amazing the villa and the staff are. We were taken care of down to the finest detail. The most loving, kind efficient group of people I've ever come across. I had my 10th wedding anniversary there and Lilly, Jone, Geoffrey, Pat, Rose and Boom went above and beyond to take care of absolutely everything. Food was amazing Staff were amazing Villa was incredible Everything was just *chefs kiss* Jacqui is phenomenal to deal with. Super helpful and patient, she even arranged a surprise banner fornus fornour anniversary!!!! BEST HOST!!!!! I CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK. It felt like home.

Review of Villa Sanyanga - April 2019

We stayed for 7 nights (5 adults / 5 kids). Spectacular property with very spacious bedrooms / bathrooms / dressing areas etc (too big for our group !). Pool area and views are fantastic and living / kitchen areas also very high quality. The staff are incredibly helpful and having a cook of Lily's quality is a real bonus, The access to a minibus was also great (and necessary given the how high up the property is !). No downsides, other than worth being aware that there isn't really much within walking distance due to the walk back up the hill, however I think this probably applies to the vast majority of the rental properties in the area and is largely mitigated by the transport provided..

AMAZING!!

From my initial communication with Jacquille my experience was first class. We travel internationally multiple times a year and Sanyanga was Amazing from our pick up from the airport by Joan to our departure. Lily is the BEST!!! The house is great and the staff is what makes this a class act. We were treated like royalty. We had the opportunity to use the Yacht and it was a trip of a lifetime. Again the staff is first class and attends to your every need. We hope to come back to Phuket specifically to spend time with Lily and the staff and enjoy a relaxing holiday. She gave us many cooking lessons and we never went out to eat as we LOVED our daily prepared meals. Thank you for the opportunity. EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY.

Family holiday in excellent surroundings

Villa Sanyanga was everything we expected it to be and more. This was a holiday we had cancelled twice due to COVID, so had waited two years to stay at the villa. From the moment we arrived, Lily, Rose, Luna and Geoffrey looked after us so well in so many ways. Lily is a wonderful chef and gave us so much help during our stay to make it a great holiday for the 11 family members. We had two children under two years of age with us and there were excellent play facilities for them. All of the bedrooms were spacious and provided plenty of storage for our clothes. Each had its own bathroom too. The lounge area and sala were ideal for spending time relaxing with the pool being perfect in size. The food that Lily cooked for us was so good that during our 9 night stay, there was no need for us to eat out. It is difficult to find any negatives about the villa and it’s staff, so would highly recommend the villa to any family or group.. We were also helped greatly by Jacquie the owner in respect of planning our visit, who was so easy to deal with. Definitely 5 stars all round!,

Breathtaking and amazing

I don’t even know where to begin with this review. The villa was breathtaking and amazing. The views were spectacular, the rooms were huge! Ms Jacquie was so thorough and answered all of my many questions prior to arrival. The staff was everything we could have asked for in a staff. Ms Jone was always there to drive Us to and from anywhere we asked of her. She she even went out at midnight to pick us up from the airport. And last but not least, Ms Lily...... I was so sad to leave bc I will likely never see her again. Not only were all her meals delicious but she was a God sent angel. She even took the time to teach me how to make some of the meals she prepared throughout our week stay. I will never forget her and will cherish all of the memories. I now have a picture of the two of us in my office back in Louisiana. Thank you ma’am jacquie and mr richard for allowing us to have this experience.

It was amazing 10/10 stay. The whole team was extremely friendly, warm , inviting and flexible to look after all our needs. Jacquie has you sorted and prepared for the holiday with all the arrival arrangements and responds super fast via email. Lily the chef and host was so easy to communicate with and a lovely person who helped organise our daily meals, trips and massages. Very talented chef and team of staff who made great Thai or western food. Her noodle soups/pad see ew/papaya salad/ tom yum/pancakes were super delicious. She was super flexible to our meals in terms of when we wanted to eat how many of us were eating at which parts of the day and always offered great recommendations for what to do with food and day trips. We also got daily massages organised by her. The rooms are huge and all have airconditioning. We also managed to ask to turn the living room into a bedroom so we got an extra room to work with. villa is clean and everything was working perfectly. Pool is super clean and relaxing to chill at all day. Speakers are everywhere to connect your phone to. There is also a villa mart you can order groceries online or get driven to by the private driver to get snacks or drinks. And if youre worried about getting sick don't be because none of us in the group were sick with any of the food or drinks at the villa everything is freshly prepared and sourced. It was a holiday to remember for sure as we alll celebrated various things in that one place as a group of friends from all around the world.

Sensational Sanyanga

The online information about the Villa Sanyanga was excellent, indicating a high satisfaction rating by all who had stayed there. From the moment we entered the Villa, we realised that the ratings and reviews had not been exaggerated. Our whole family of 10, including granny and grandad; daughter; son-in-law; 2 children age 11 and 9; son; daughter-in-law; 2 children age 3 and 6 months - all had an exceptionally outstanding holiday. All the bedrooms and ensuite facilities were superb; the swimming pool was ideal for our group; the shaded outdoor seating and sunbathing areas; the living accommodation - all were perfect including excellent wifi, sound and tv equipment. BUT by far the most wonderful aspect of this gorgeous villa was LILY and her superb team of staff. Lovely, lovely people. All so very helpful and insistent that they do all the work in order to make our holiday simply the best. Lily provided wonderful menus for us to choose our daily food requirements and liaised with us wonderfully to provide delicious, fabulous meals catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Simply superb. Lily is quite exceptional. And then, in addition, we had access to a mini bus and Jone, our driver who took us anywhere we wanted to go. Without this facility, the villa would have been too remote as it is accessed by an extremely steep hill, far too steep for children to negotiate or Granny and grandad. But Jone took us anywhere we needed to go, so perfect!!! And the other staff took care of the cleaning, pool maintenance, laundry and everything else. They became part of our family. Simply superb. If I could rate this Villa and holiday higher than 5 * then I would. Prior to the holiday Jacquie, our host, liaised wonderfully with us ensuring the whole process was problem free, providing all the information we needed to arrive safely and have a magnificent time. Thank you to all involved in making this THE holiday of a lifetime, perfect to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

The perfect place to experience Phuket for the first time

I brought a photo and video crew from the US for a 10 day 'work plus' production to Phuket. We stayed at Villa Sanyanga and through their love and care we all had one of the greatest experiences of our collective lives. The chef and manager Lili is a gourmet chef and believe me that is an understatement. My brother-in-law lives in Bangkok and joined us at the villa, he assured me that there is no better Thai food in Thailand than what comes from Lily's kitchen. Every meal was spectacular and when asked Lili was happy to give us a cooking class (for 15 people!) so we could learn to cook our favorite dishes. She is a treasure and will be a very big reason why I return to Phuket. Her staff is fantastic and catered to our every need and ours were a bit more than the average travelers but that didn't phase them one bit. The driver Jone is a wonderful human being and tolerated our constant requests, we literally saw 80% of the island in Jone's van and she never lost her big smile. She helped my whole team feel safe and welcomed every time she opened the door. As for the Villa itself, you have to see it to believe it. The photos are gorgeous but can not do it justice. To walk out of one of the gorgeous, separate locking entrances to the common dining room, every day...and see that gorgeous view was awe inspiring every single day. The suites are all gorgeous, the villa layout is perfect and the common areas are warm and inviting. We Also chartered a boat from the Villa, a celebration of sorts for 20,people and none of us could believe how amazing it was. The crew plotted an amazing day for us including a fabulous clear water snorkeling spot, a gourmet lunch aboard this stunning power catamaran and then a breathtaking cruise to a unique little bar...on a rock..in the middle of the Andaman Sea. It all sounds to good to be true...and that's exactly what we thought as we enjoyed this life changing experience. If you are planning to visit Phuket, if you're thinking about it, think no further. Gather your friends, buy your tickets and stay at Villa Sanyanga. I've never experienced it's equal and I will be back for more because of it. I'm only on the plane back now and I miss it...and especially Lili already.

This was amazing! We are a family of ten with 8 kids ranging from two college students down to a kid who had just finished kindergarten. We read the awesome reviews. I am happy to say that the great reviews were spot-on. What an incredible experience. I am not even sure where to start. Let me start with the home itself. It is a great location. You seem to have the ability to look out one side of the home and see an unbelievably beautiful view. Then you turn the corner and look out a different way and see something at least as beautiful. The rooms are fantastic. The setup is even better. The home has everything. There is an entire large room to "chill out" and watch TV. There are outdoor tables. There is a large indoor, dining room type table. There are other tables for enjoying a BBQ meal while looking down on the beach. There is a beautiful pool that is part of the home so kids or others can go swimming and still be a part of the discussion that is going on. There is a bar downstairs (although we did not use it) in one of the rooms and simply an incredible setup for any large group. Incredible layout. The truth is that the location and the layout of the home is not even the best part. The best part is the team. Lily is the cook and seems to run the team of four that is around the house. Her food was fantastic. Her personality was even better. We have never had better service anywhere in our lives. Whatever we needed or wanted was made. We are poor planners and changed our plans every day . . . or sometimes a few times a day. This team simply adjusted with a smile on their faces and made it happen. (One time we told them we would be gone all day and would not want dinner until late. I called mid-day and asked if they could throw together lunch for 10 with about an hour's notice. When we arrived there was a fantastic, made-to-order check prepared lunch. I do not even know how they pulled that off!) In fact, Lily gave "cooking classes" to some our younger kids on 3 different days. Cooking and spending time with Lily became a highlight for some of my kids. And then there is Jone. Jone is a driver that seems to know everywhere we wanted to go and was always ready for us. Having a personal driver always available made everything better. I am not sure what it is like to be royalty but I suspect it is like spending a week at Villa Sanyanga. Thank you to Lily, Jone, and the entire staff.

Perfect Trip

I came for a bachelorette party with 7 girls. Property was even bigger than expected. The rooms were generous, and it was perfect that we each had our space but also so many common areas to be together. The food was so good and plentiful by Chef Lily we stopped eating out entirely. She gave us her cell so we could text her when we were on our way home from the beach and she would whip something up for us. All our requests were met, we asked for healthy, lots of veggies, and variety and she came thru. I'm a picky eater and her food was very clean, not greasy, super fresh. I loved everything she made. The staff is very friendly and they do a great job keeping the property clean. Always fresh towels available and restocked by the pool every morning. It was incredibly convenient having a driver. Saved us the trouble from haggling with taxi/tuk tuk drivers. The location is great in relation to the island of Phuket because its central to getting around if you plan to explore the island. The beach is walking distance but there are better beaches 10 min drive away and the hill the villa is set on (need to be on a hill for view ;) )is very steep to walk even for us young, fit, girls. BUT since we had a driver, we just had him take us to Kamala and other nearby beaches instead. Was much easier. He would come pick us up and take us home when we texted him. He was always on time and the minivan was very nice, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. Everything was perfect :) Oh and the Villa Host, Jacquie, was the most helpful host I have ever encountered during my travels. Travelling during COVID is challenging and she made the process very smooth :)

20m from huge building site

Villa Sanyanga itself is beautiful and the staff are great. However, unbeknown to us at the time of booking Villa Sanyanga is c.30m away from a huge building site of multi-storey condominiums. The construction noise (power tools, diggers, trucks, shouting) continues from sunrise to sunset 7 days per week. This made our stay almost unbearable.

Monti Family Holiday

We had a party of nine adults, two teenagers and four young children. Lily is a gem. A wonderful cook and hostess. Jon was a knowledgable and friendly driver. Jeffrey was great in providing cocktails. The house staff were great. Very happy with the house and really appreciated the stunning outlook. The major construction commencing next door could be a negative to the amenity while underway. While we left a generous tip I would mention that there is not a vigorous tipping culture in Australia and we would have been more comfortable feeling that the staff were well paid and not being told that tipping was expected.

My name is Jacquie Pinnell, and my brother Richard is the owner of Villa Sanyanga, and Tiger Marine Charter, which operates many boats for cruises off Phuket island. We offer Shashani a 43ft catamaran and Sanyati, a 51ft catamaran at discounted rates for villa guests on day cruises.

Richard lives in Thailand and is a retired Cathay Pacific Airways Captain. He runs Tigermarine Charter company in Phuket. I let the villa on his behalf. We grew up in England and Zimbabwe, and now he lives in Asia, and I live in Spain and France. With whatsapp and emails we work closely together, and with Lily our Villa manager too, and are in constant contact with the letting of the villa and chartering the yachts.

Why they chose this property

Richard lives in Phuket with his wife and sons, and lived in Villa Sanyanga for several years, before moving to the East coast, where he runs Tiger Marine Charter out of the Boat lagoon on the east coast, and where all the tiger marine boats are moored.

What makes this property unique

The most fabulous thing about this villa, in my opinion, is the breath-taking view from the pool terrace, over the whole of Bangtao bay. But what makes it wonderful for holiday rentals is that it can take very large groups. Perhaps a family reunion for extended families spread out over many countries, or a group of friends celebrating a birthday. There is so much space and privacy in this beautiful villa. For instance, the garden level area alone can sleep 7 people, with lots of space, and is ideal when several different families renting the villa.

Our biggest feature though, that sets us apart from other villas, is our five star service and fantastic staff. They are all exceptional people, and will do everything in their power to make sure you have a stress free holiday of a lifetime. All the reviews we have ever had, stress how wonderful our staff our and what great service we offer.
