Enjoy this large 2 bedroom apartment with dock access. Don’t pull your boat out of the water - if a storm blows in or you just need a nap! 55 inch TV and wifi, full size washer and dryer. Guests enjoy access to water with a pier. (boathouse slips unavailable) Great for fishermen (women) or a family getaway. Gas grill with outdoor seating area. Located midway between Guntersville and Scottsboro, and just 35 minutes to Huntsville.

Excellent Stay

My husband and I chose this apartment due to its location on the lake. We were not disappointed. The hosts were absolutely fantastic. They saved our vacation. They went above and beyond to help us with some issues that happened with our boat. It was so appreciated. Even though we didn't get to go fish like we wanted to, the location, apartment and hosts more than made up for it. It felt like we were at a resort with the nice accommodations and the beautiful surroundings. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

Awesome experience!!

We had an amazing weekend with the family. The place was very nice plenty of room and great hosts. The hosts were super helpful and very accommodating. Brought the boat for the weekend and the lake house and dock were an added bonus, didn’t have to shuffle the boat in and out through the visit. For boaters there is a causeway you have to pass under for the main lake with some height restrictions but wasn’t an issue for us at all. We will definitely keep this place on our short list for a future visit!! 5 starts all around.

Fabulous location, wonderful owners

Very cozy apt located on the water. Minutes from Scottsboro and Guntersville. Owners are amazing, respond immediately to questions and are able to provide information about local events and tourist sites. Will definitely be visiting again!!

Great accommodations

Nice clean quiet place, friendly owners. A lot of privacy. Beautiful views of the lake from the boathouse. Able to peer into a lovely well lit lake area where you can FEED FISH and TURTLES! Can jump in the water and go! Great Wi-Fi and apartment has all the best amenities. Highly recommended.

Run Around Sue’s Sister

Lovely roomy 2 bedroom apartment above a 3 bay garage on the lake! Many kitchen items and some products including coffee were provided, so we only needed to pick up basic breakfast foods. We didn’t need to, but cooking utensils and pots/pans were plentiful. The queen and two single beds were comfy, lots of towels and bathroom products too. The living room was cozy and comfy too. The grounds and waterfront were lovely. Rhonda was attentive and welcoming. We’ve added this to our list of great VRBO stays!

Rhonda was a gracious hostess and the photos posted don't do the property justice - it's beautiful! Though the stairs to the loft made it difficult for my husband (who has mobility issues), we were able to work around this and enjoyed our stay there!

Relaxing well kept space with water access

We thoroughly enjoyed our fishing get away at Rhonda and Mike's VRBO. The apartment is clean, spacious and well kept. The owners were super friendly and helpful. We especially liked being able to pull our boat into the boathouse at night to get it out of the weather.

Short weekend getaway

Overall was a good experience. Enjoyed the access to the water. Enjoyed the layout and what was available for us to use, washer, dryer, 2 bedrooms, living room and full kitchen. The only negative part of the weekend were the stairs and the smoke smell upon entering the apartment.

Rest, Relax, BBQ & Fish

My Husband, his best friend and our 2 teenage sons drove all the way to Alabama from Texas for a Guys weekend. They had the best time there, it was clean, spacious, had everything there that they needed. Loved the boat house and the fishing. Mike & Rhonda thank you so much for being great hostesses. They can't wait for next year....PS I will be there next year!!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay! Mike and Rhonda were phenomenal. They checked on us to make sure we didn’t need anything, helped my husband load and unload the boat and we’re all around super friendly. The apartment and boat house had everything you could need/want. It was extremely clean and super spacious. We will definitely be staying here in the future!

Great views and wonderful host!

The amenities were nice and clean. It’s like we were hone without being at home. There was so many things to see and places to go. Rhonda was so nice and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure our visit went awesome. We was offered floats and a splash pad for the kids to play in the lake with. The people are nice down there. I highly recommend you going there for a vacation.
