"Pelican's Perch" - Gulf Front Condo, Fabulous Views, Heated Pool, Dock, Fishing

Pelican's Perch is an upscale, luxury townhouse condo less than 16 yards from the water of the Gulf of Mexico. The condo has 1,400 square feet of interior living area plus two large, 'L' shaped decks that wrap around the condo. Each deck has captivating views of the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the heated pool on the other. When the breezes are gentle, you can watch marine life in the water from the decks.

Local zoning rules allow 6 people to reside in the condo. This limit is strictly enforced. Free high speed Wi-Fi Internet access is provided. The master bedroom features a new Consumer Reports recommended king-size bed with an open water view. The second bedroom has queen and twin beds. A queen-size bed pulls out from a sofa on the first floor. A large, eight boat dock and heated pool are a one minute walk away.

The dock is located at the mouth of the Key Vaca Cut, providing good fishing & easy access to both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Dockage is first come first served with owners having priority. Backup dockage is available off site if needed.

The grounds are impeccably landscaped.
The kitchen has been updated with new tile and stainless appliances..

Renters have use of 2 rental type bikes, full beach gear such as beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, pool noodles, and some snorkeling gear. Board games are included inside the condo.

Wonderful Place!

This condo is AMAZING! Very spacious with new updated furniture and the beds slept great! The views were wonderful and the sunrises were awesome everyday! Only 1 small gitch with the internet and it was resolved within the hour by Mickey and owners! The condo had everything we needed and then some - bicycle's, beach chairs, floats, coolers and 2 grills. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and plan to be back again!

This was a great property! Very comfortable and clean. Great location. My husband called it “ a hidden gem”. Loved relaxing on the balconies at night after a day of sight seeing. The pool was so lovely. We will be back!

Wonderful stay!

Comfortable clean place, great location lots of supplies, kitchen essentials (we like to cook a lot). Spacious living area with nice furniture. Wish this could be on one level with less stairs-and no birds at the poolthat would make it perfect! But we want to come back!

This condo allows you to walk in and have everything you need . My husband and I enjoyed fishing on the dock, riding bikes , checking out the local restaurants, local beaches , etc . Perfect location with amazing views . I would definitely like to go back!

Wonderful working vacation!

My friend and I stayed at this amazing condo!! The views were fantastic from the balconies! Super quiet and the space was very large and comfortable. A little dated with the bathrooms and kitchen but everything was functional and clean and did not feel run down at all!! The furnishings were updated and beautiful! The pool was amazing. This place has everything you need for a perfect time in the Keys. Will definitely be looking to stay here again!!

Peaceful and relaxing

This property is absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for peace and quiet, with gorgeous views of the ocean, this is your place! The bed was amazing,so comfortable! Check in was easy and the condo was in excellent condition! I have stayed at several locations and this was my favorite. I did have to replenish most paper products and laundry items but I left what we didn’t use for the next occupants. Fantastic location and if I get back to Marathon I will stay here again!

Great View, Great Location

We arrived and felt instantly comfortable and relaxed. The view was amazing and is how I began my day drinking coffee on the front porch over looking the bay. Also after a hard day at play it was a great way to wind down. The pool was convenient and the kids loved it. We rented a boat and docked it at the dock. So close to Vaca Cut that we had instant access to the ocean and bay side.

Very quiet and relaxing.

Fully furnished condo right on water. Winds blew pretty forceful most of week. Pool was clean and refreshing. There are straits leading to entrance and stairs leading up to bedrooms. Very quiet complex. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there.

Quiet complex with view right from the balcony

Loved the pool, it’s temperature and the proximity to the condo. Spent much time enjoying the view from the balconies and the rockers. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Key lock box was difficult to open but contacted Bernie & she quickly responded. Appreciated the items/staples left for our use and we replenished. Furnishings need updating and that is the reason for the 4 stars.

Great location - a very comfortable place to stay.

This was our third stay at Pelican's Perch. The sunrises from the balcony never get old. Watching the dolphins and the pelicans was also fun. The property is well equipped with everything you need, including coolers. The pool is a very nice place to soak up some sunshine.

Our family is from the suburbs of Chicago. Rex and I first visited the Keys in 1980 while working in Miami. We fell in love with the Keys during that time and finally returned in 2011 on the first of what has become an annual visit ever since. We have rented at the beautiful Gulfpointe II complex for the last several years and feel very fortunate to now be owners at this wonderful location. We hope you get to enjoy it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

The views from the balconies are spectacular. The Gulf water is less than 16 yards away. The pool is beautiful. The dock on the Vaca Cut is a great place to fish. The condo is centrally located between Key Largo and Key West. The condo is spacious, 1,400 square feet of interior living area plus the two balconies.

What makes this property unique

The two water front balconies are located on the east side of the building. This provides valuable afternoon shade while sitting on the decks. Even during the hot summer afternoons, the balconies are surprisingly comfortable with the shade and sea breeze. We have several types of chairs including rocking chairs on the decks.
