Great stay!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The layout of the home is perfect to share with friends. We loved the front porch and spent most of our evenings out there. It wasnt too tricky to find although both our friends and i pulled up the wrong driveway the first try. We would definitely atay here again!

Grandparent/Grandchild weekend
We take our grandchildren to the mountains every year for a weekend getaway. This year we were super lucky to come across this listing. The house was the perfect size for our 2 adults and 3 grandchildren and dogs. The location was private and quiet and the fenced yard made for great playtime with the kids and dogs. My husband and i are already planning another trip, just for us.

Amazing Stay as Always
This is our third or fourth time staying and as always it was amazing! Close enough to get to anything you need, amazing views, and super clean! The yard and porch are large and wonderful especially when we bring the dogs. They love sitting on the porch and running in the fully fenced yard.

We were in town for our niece’s wedding. The house has the most peaceful wrap around porch! We had breakfast on the porch every morning and drinks each evening.

Loved our stay here! The charm of the home was lovely. Old home with some antiques endeared us to this place. It was like being at grandmas but with “today’s” conveniences. Pet friendly was a plus. Our Toy poodle enjoyed his stay as well. We will stay here again and have recommended it to our out of town family. The Hardings were prompt to reply to all our questions. Great hosts!

This house was PERFECT!! We had views, and this location was perfect. We ventured in so many different directions and got to explore so many things. My ouply loved running around the yard. I really couldnt ask for a better place to stay and would.definately recommend this house to others and would stay here again for sure!!! Ty for a great trip!

Such a beautiful place to rest and enjoy the Mountains
We would highly recommend this house for your next trip to the mountains. The house is so clean and cozy. The directions and proximity to everything was so convenient and yet we melted into that porch and view every morning and afternoon with our coffee. We used the grill to cook steaks, we made a bonfire and had smores! Everything was just what we needed. Thanks again!

We were traveling to Asheville to visit the UNC-Asheville Campus. This property was absolutely perfect for us. Our party consisted of four adults. Everyone was comfortable in their own room. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit and I specifically enjoyed the hot water and fantastic water pressure in the shower. We would definitely book again when we are back for UNC-Asheville move in.

Perfect house for staying with dogs
We chose this house for a quick getaway to visit the Biltmore. It’s an easy 30 minute drive to Asheville. The house was wonderful, it was nicely decorated with a mixture of modern furniture and antiques. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and anything you would need to cook. The beds were really comfortable as were the pillows. The table on the deck had a view of the mountains and there was a gas grill and fire pit. For me, the best thing was the set up for my dogs. The large yard was fully contained with a chain link fence. There were dog gates at the stairs on both ends of the porch so you could contain the dogs in the yard or on the porch. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and I would stay there again in a heartbeat..

The property was excellent! Our favorite part was the amazing porch and yard! The house was so comfortable, beds and pillows were great. The porch can be completely fenced off, which was an amazing feature for kids or pets. The beautiful, well kept yard is completely fenced in as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a weekend get-away
My partner and I and our pup had a great stay at the property! We were very pleased with its location as we were able to enjoy the peacefulness of hanging out on the porch and letting our dog play in the large fully fenced in yard while also only being about 20-30 min from downtown Asheville and some great hiking locations allowing us to explore those as well. The house was clean and had everything we needed and had plenty of space along with some great views and sunsets. We would definitely recommend this property!

Charming Home
Very quiet neighborhood which made for a very relaxing stay. Home is very spacious with plenty of amenities. Front porch is fantastic wish we could have spent more time enjoying the porch. We brought our pups and the yard and porch were very secure for keeping our pups safe & allowing them to have plenty of outdoor time. This is a very pet friendly home. Driveway is a bit tricky, but it is well marked.

We are from Virginia and we loved our stay. Just a relaxing weekend. The dogs could run and play in the fenced in yard and everything was just stocked very well and very clean. Our hosts very very nice and very accommodating. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We renovated and then lived in the house three years while we built our home up the driveway. We had Christmas dinner in here 2013 with nine family members.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property so as to enjoy quiet and privacy without being too remote. The views, from this porch, were the selling point. We came from NJ "flatlands" and love the mountains.

What makes this property unique

Full kitchen and laundry make for a true home away from home. Large fenced yard and safe location makes it great for the kids.
Close proximity to Weaverville stores and restaurants eases the pleasures. Asheville, so close, gives city time and enormous amount of activities .
