Welcome to our charming little cottage, built in 1921 and renovated in 2013!
Come on in! Bedroom on the left; kitchen on the right.
Our guests call the patio another room and it is by far, a guest favorite.
The electric awning provides a lot of shade on the patio for warm days.
There is a pull-out couch that faces the television.

Well-equipped unit: Mitsubishi (high-end quiet) heat/air conditioning- sleep in total comfort set to meet your individual preference. Plus, quality mattress, finer linens, Apple Plus Streaming, well-appointed kitchen and spacious outdoor patio for your personal sunning, dining or game playing.

Easy walk to the sand, legendary bay, fun pubs, groceries, restaurants, bike rental, famous pier and water sport rental. If your perfect vacation means a relaxing book by soothing ocean tides or heart pumping fun such as paddle surfing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, golfing, tennis, biking or boating, 211 29th street is a great choice!

(We have added another one-bedroom listing in the back- upstairs a with brand new furniture, full kitchen, large window view, raised ceilings and air conditioning; All the upgrades of a finer hotel. What else can I say? It is always a pleasure to be back. The house is comfortable, clean, and at a great location, everything you need within walking distance. The hosts are really great, helpful and friendly. Nice boardwalk, also for biking, great beach.

Perfect Newport Beach cottage
Everything you see and read about this cottage, is an exact description. It does not disappoint, time and time again. John and Kimberlee are attentive hosts and communication was timely and always responsive. I cannot say enough about them and the cottage.

Perfect Getaway!
Everything about this property was perfect. The beach cottage was so adorable the owners are extremely gracious. You could not ask for a better location, walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. I have to give a shout out to Humanity Coffee, walked to get the best cappuccino every morning.

Fantastic stay with greats hosts. John is very communicative and helpful, even saved a parking spot for us right out front! The location is perfect—block from the sand and Pavillions. The cottage was very clean and had everything needed for two people and a baby. Overall, highly recommend and we’ll definitely stay again!

Succulent Paradise
Cottage was impeccable and the owners were extremely gracious and available. Check-in was smooth. Cottage had everything we needed, located a block from grocery store and walking distance to many restaurants. Queen bed was very comfortable and nights were quiet for sleeping. We came home relaxed! This beach cottage is absolutely perfect in every way. So many details and amenities. The location is ideal if you want access to both the beach and the downtown area. Close to the Lido area with beautiful shops and restaurants. Couldn't have found a better place!

Everything about our stay was amazing! The hosts greeted us with flowers and warm welcomes. The cottage was just as pictured if not more beautiful and was very comfortable. Fully stocked with every amenity needed. Street and neighbors were quiet. It was a perfect get away.

FABULOUS EXPERIENCE
I brought my daughter for spring break and for her 13th birthday! The house is clean! Mattress is SO comfortable. Quiet street. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrella provided. Bikes as well! John and Kimberlee welcomed us and made us feel right at home! We will definitely visit again!

Slice of heaven
Don’t let the small size fool you, this cottage has it all! Perfect getaway spot for spouse/significant other. Cottage is very clean and great attention to detail. Outside the cottage you are Walking distance to the beach, grocery, shops, food and much more. Property Owners communicate great and are available to help where needed. We hope to visit again soon!

Always a fabulous time at John and Kimberlee’s
This is the absolute best place to stay if your looking for comfortable living, all the amenities you need, attention to every detail, and quick beach access. We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints. John and Kimberlee are wonderful hosts and they go out of their way to make sure your stay is fabulous. Boardwalk for bike rides, walks on the beach, wonderful restaurants, treats, grocery store and laundry are all within walking distance. Can’t say enough about this place. We love it! You know we’ll be back!

50th Anniversary
My husband and I were married in CA. I grew up near Newport. I have rented many places over the years and this is absolutely the best for 2 people, even though there is a sleeping sofa. Everything they offer you is such quality,,,the bed ( mattress) beach chairs, towels, umbrella, bicycles. Their towels, their dishes, their WiFi/TV was exceptional. Short walk to the beach is great. Response to your needs is amazing and they have the most beautiful succulent garden you have ever seen. We're already planning to go back next year !!

GORGEOUS COTTAGE ON THE PENINSULA

Exceptional Experience
My husband and I agreed that this was one of the best rental experiences we have ever had. John and Kimberly are exceptional hosts, and the cottage was meticulously maintained, offering all the comforts of home. The location allows for easy access to everything you want and need: grocery store, restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The rental has all the beach gear you need and if you forget something, they have it there for you . The front patio with the lovely dining table expanded our space when visitors came over. There is a Weber grill with everything to make a wonderful dinner, which we enjoyed on the front patio. We said this will be a place where we will come again to stay. It was a wonderful experience.

Adorable!!
I am so glad we chose this property. It is absolutely beautiful there inside and out!! I love all the succulents around the cottage and the large outside table. My daughter and I had such a great time. We will be coming back each year. It was just a short walk to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants. I cannot say enough nice things about Jonathan and Kimberlee. They had a parking spot waiting for us when we arrived, all kinds of fun things for the beach and bikes too!!! Thank you guys … see you in September

John and Kimberlee live on-site and are available to assist when needed. Pete, a teacher and high school football/swimming and wrestling coach worked three jobs in order to buy his dream beach house. In 1970, this dream became a reality! Come enjoy Pete's dream with us!

The property location is ideal for fun in the sun! Great public beach a block away with soft sand and friendly water. Close to all the activities and fun Newport is known for, plus the convenience of a very close grocery store (Pavillions), pubs, bank, dry cleaners and laundry mat. Beautiful sunsets too!

Let us know if you are celebrating something special, we will be happy to arrange for flowers, champagne or anything we can do. If you need a ride from John Wayne airport, just ask.
