My husband and I came up for our first time and really enjoyed our stay. The town was nice, the trails were amazing only complaint is the living room and one bedroom of the house were cold. We couldn’t seem to get them warm enough to use them. Need an electric fireplace or something to keep it warm and cozy.
The place was very nice. Every thing was perfect. Downtown was very convenient, restaurants and bar plus shopping. There was no dock and the rowboat was filled with water but I don’t think the pond was deep enough to row around. The wildlife was awesome on the pond. I would suggest to get a guest book so people can tell their fun and adventures. Thank you for sharing your cabin.
The house was as described, the only downside was in the picture it looks like you can stand on the lake shore to fish. You can, you just have to knock down the weeds as you walk. Other than that we had a great time!

surprised
We enjoyed the property. Sad to say there say there was a
scheduled power outage scheduled for July 12 from 1100pm till 8am that we were not made aware of..Sadly this was our 50 th. wedding anniversary. We were mortified. One for the record books. Owner should have made me aware. Sad. Please include instruction for coffee maker!
Great place close to downtown Luther! The bathroom was nice, roomy, and stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths. The kitchen does not have that much counter space but worked for what we needed. The desk area was nice and peaceful. The beds are on the smaller side for 2 adults but we made do. All in all would recommend.

Adorable cottage
The cottage was exactly as advertised with lots of nice little extras. There were a few tv channels that came in and out. Definitely no cell service. If you are looking for it to be EXACTLY as their pictures and descriptions it is not. The pond was barely deep enough for the boat to row through. We kept getting stuck. We could have walked across the whole thing. That was disappointing as we were hoping to fish. Also, the yard, dock and general outside did not look like the pictures. The dock is extremely unsafe and needs some maintenance as does the rest of the outdoor space. But the inside was definitely well appointed and clean. Overall it was a nice stay but for the money it would have been nice if it was just like the pictures and descriptions.
Nice place to stay and close to trails! Clean and had all the essentials needed and very comfortable with a beautiful yard and view. We had a great stay and would recommend this place to others.
Nice, clean and close to trails. All roads in Luther are sxs approved so it was great! Road over 200 miles of trails on our 3 day trip! No wifi was great, regular antenna channels, and peace! The view, the wildlife and the overall relaxing atmosphere made it awesome! Worth it!
Great little place to stay not too far from skiing
We rented the house because we were skiing at Caberfae. It is about 25 minute drive so not too far. We ate at Logger's Landing right in Luther which was great. We arrived late in the evening so it was a little bit hard to find the property in the dark so those arriving late look for the large sign out front with the One-way watertight mill name on it.
This cabin was perfect for our family get away. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was bigger than I expected but otherwise just as advertised. These owners were such a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be renting here again!!
Well maintained, complete with all the essentials! Was a little disappointed that the pond was too low to use row boat, or to fish. Theres was alot of wildlife to watch from the porch. Overall great wkend stay! Thank you
We really enjoyed watching the swans, geese, ducks and the bald eagle in the backyard. The pond was so peaceful in the early morning. Perfect to sit on the back deck with a cup of coffee. The hammock that was in the closet was enjoyed by our youngest among 2 trees by the firepit in the evening. One goose enjoyed nibbling on the apples that had dropped from the apple tree. It was a nice place to relax and unwind and hit the reset button!
We were here with our family and two dogs for a long weekend. The fishing was great. The rowboat was fun and the fire pit with Edison lights at night was perfect for making memories! Clean as can be! Beds were comfortable and we didn’t need anything for the kitchen but food! 10/10 from us and the hosts were available when needed. Highly recommend.
Our family, 6 total including a 2 year old, had a great time and this cute spot. Beautiful pond in the backyard, somehow connected to the damn - not sure how all of the works- but all day you could watch swans, ducks, geese, birds. Very peaceful. Very close to the trails. Plenty of room for our trailers. Beds were nice, house was very clean. Two private bedrooms and a futon in the living room. A couple of things: no dishwasher, the grill is charcoal, and I couldn’t find a cake pan. Other than that, great stay!
Very relaxing, wonderful pond view with all kinds of wildlife. Bugs weren't bad, but hosts provided a citronella candle outside and many other nice touches inside. A surprise was the Bose Wave radio, which picked up Interlochen and other classical stations. The North Bar had better food than the Loggers Landing. Avoid the ripoff supermarket in LeRoy.
Little place in the middle of nowhere great for getting away and just relaxing. Relitivley close to enough things to get out and do stuff but quiet 3nough to un plug and re energize.
I stink at writing reviews. We loved the place. Enjoyed all the wildlife and peace and quiet. I would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy nature and bird watching.
My parents joined my husband, stepson, our puppies and me for a wonderful extended weekend. All of the amenities were as expected and the kitchen was better equipped than we had hoped. We took the row boat around the pond a few times to enjoy the wildlife, had a cookout at the campfire and walked into town a couple of times. Definitely a five star experience for us. I only hope our future travels can be as enjoyable.
