Sea Fan Cottage is a luxury home that is located on the second closest street to the beach in the gated community of Emerald Shores and an easy 3 minute walk from the beach! This beautiful home has been completely remodeled with all new appliances, new kitchen cabinets, granite countertops and all new furnishings. Nothing was overlooked in the renovation including new flooring in the bedrooms and the addition of cottage style trim throughout. In 2024 a complete upgrade has been done to the main bathroom with a NEW tub, designer tile, NEW vanity and NEW kitchen cabinets with NEW tile backsplash!

It features 2 bedrooms a KING master suite and the second bedroom has a QUEEN size bed. Also this home features a bunk room for additional sleeping with 2 TWINS in a cozy bunk room with a door and window. 2 FULL baths with one in the master suite includes oversized separate shower stall with Marble look tile surround and double sink, and the other full bath has a tub and shower combination upgraded in 2024. Sea Fan Cottage features a smart TV in the living room, plus a tv is including every bedroom plus the bunk room!

Sea Fan Cottage sleeps 6 and is ideal for a family with children, two adult couples, or those with limited mobility as everything is on one level. The spacious living area was furnished to offer the guests a feeling that they have arrived at their home away from home. No attention to detail has been overlooked.

Sea Fan Cottage is located on the second closest street to the beach in the gated community of Emerald Shores. This is an upscale gated neighborhood that meets the true definition of a quaint beach community. You are only a short walk to the beach and there is even a free shuttle that operates seasonally. The community has a private beach pavilion that is a true one of a kind in the area. Once you arrive on the beach the pavilion offers; restrooms, a place to park the wagon we provide, rinse showers and a seasonal beverage bar! You also will enjoy the 2 pools (one heated), tennis court and a basketball goal!

In addition, there are two restaurants, Kenny D's and Captain Dave’s Seafood, in easy walking distance located at the beach right outside the neighborhood!

The Destin area is known as the Worlds Luckiest Fishing Village! Deep sea fishing is very popular and in fact, Destin boasts the largest charter fishing fleet in the State of Florida! The sugary white beaches and the clear, sometimes Emerald Green waters give true meaning to the word, 'Paradise!' The Destin area is abundant with Restaurants, bars, shopping areas, Golf, and water sports. For kids, Big Kahuna waterpark is not to be missed. Also popular with the kids and highly recommended is taking a Dolphin cruise.

Great location, fun stay!
The location of this property is perfect for trips to the beach. We have stayed at this property in the past and it has even been upgraded since our last visit. The wagon provided is great for getting all your stuff to the beach to enjoy the day! The house is big enough to spread out in, but small enough to enjoy everyone’s company. Communication with owners was great and they were more than accommodating when a small issue came up. They quickly came up with a plan to solve the issue and checked in with us to make sure we were all good! Would definitely recommend!

Great relaxing stylish vacation home
Home is beautiful and conveniently located within walking distance to both the pool and the beach. Family room was perfect for the family to gather and hang out in the evenings. Plenty of space to eat, hang out. Master bathroom and closet are wonderful! Only challenge - my tween didn't care much for her bunk bed room which was very small. Smaller children might be just fine but she was not happy in comparison to her sibling's room! Overall, great property, quiet, clean, comfortable, stylish - relaxing, great vacation home.

The home in Emerald Shores not only lives up to the Online presence but exceeds it. The floor plan allows for a spacious flow for the up-to-six folks it houses. We enjoyed the 'one level' as there were 2 little Grands with us throughout the week. It is so simple to feel at home and the placement within the community makes it very accessible to both the Emerald waters of the Beach, and the Pool. The Owners have thought through everything to make your week in Destin a Delight.

Perfect Getaway
Everything about this property was a delight. Owners are the best, excellent communication from start to finish. Location was so private and quiet but central to everything we wanted to do. The house has a hugh wow factor as soon as you walk through the door. Plenty of room for family without feeling cramped. A wonderful experience all around, can't wait to return.

My family of pre-teens and teenagers had a wonderful week at this cottage. It was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal for beach and pool access. We had a wonderful time and would return without hesitation.

Amazing location, house is clean, everything you need is here. Perfect amenities. Many pools to choose from the one at the entrance had nobody there. Communication with owners is perfect! Worth every penny!

I loved it.
This cottage was fantastic in every way. The location was quiet while also being very close to the beach. It had everything that you could possibly need. It was updated, very spacious and comfortable. I loved the convenience of the beach pavilion and the beach service. The beach is truly beautiful, a must see if you have never been. The location was also great for restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay at this property again.

A family vacation to remember
We opted for a non-traditional thanksgiving holiday due to Covid this year and found the silver lining at Sea Fan cottage. My daughters are still talking about the amazing week we spent there and how nice the house was. No complaints and would love to rent here again.

Great stay, convenient to beach, clean. Owner checked on us and offered to bring us a cooler with drinks Or anything that we needed because of hurricane Sally taking out the power/ cable. Owner very nice to work with.

Wonderful Stay at Sea Fan Cottage!
We just got home from a wonderful week at Sea Fan Cottage. The decor is beautiful. Every room has been remodeled. High end furniture and luxurious master bathroom. Kitchen equipped with everything you need and then some for a week. All furniture, beds and bedding was very comfortable. The girls loved the bunk room! A/C and ceiling fans kept it cool all week. Most importantly the home was very clean. I will sometimes clean in rentals when we arrive if it’s not to my standard but no need to do that here. The beach is a short walk and loved having the provided wagon to haul our things back and forth. The shuttle was running all day every day so if we didn’t want to walk we could hop on. We rented chairs and umbrella from La Dolce Vita for the week but since there were 4 of us we used the beach chairs provided. We took the owners recommendation and got bikes from a Bikes-R-Us. They were delivered before we even arrived on Saturday and our girls loved riding them around the neighborhood and sidewalks on scenic Hwy 98. I would also recommend Sunset Cruisers if you’re looking for a golf cart. They were the only ones who had one available for us this week. Everyone else was booked. Very easy to work with and quick response. The pools at Emerald Shores were great and never very crowded. Emerald Shores is close to everything and very quiet at night. We hated to leave and if we return to Destin we will definitely stay here again!

Softball vacation
We had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and nice. After long days at the ball field it was nice to come back to and rest up for the next day. The kids enjoyed the board games and the short walk to the pool and beach. We plan on staying again when we get the chance.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME
This home is our new "HOME AWAY FROM HOME"! We absolutely LOVED EVERYTHING about it. The location is great! It is close to the beach, within walking distance to several restaurants, and in a well-groomed and friendly neighborhood with 2 community pools. The house is very welcoming and meticulously clean. It has nice decor, comfortable beds, and is well-stocked with kitchen appliances, utensils, and linens. We have rented many homes over the years and I always take a few items just in case it is not at the house. We rented this home for 3 weeks and it had everything we needed! I will not have to pack as much for next year's visit. Yes .. we will be back! If you love to swim, hang out on the beach, walk, bike, or just sit on the front porch and drink your coffee while watching the sunrise in the morning, this house is definitely for you!

Beautiful home; perfect vacation spot
We loved our week at Sea Fan Cottage! It just went by too fast! The pictures don’t do this home justice—it’s beautiful, tastefully decorated, close to the beach, and the perfect size for a family. This was our nine-month-old’s first trip to the beach, and we created so many sweet family memories in this home! We had perfect weather almost the whole time, just a few rain showers on the last afternoon. We are so sad to be leaving today, and we will definitely be back! Thank you for opening up this beautiful home!

This house was perfect!! Very clean, smelled amazing when we walked in. Tons of towels, kitchen was fully stocked! The location was prefect..a very short walk to pool and beach, so close the toddlers were able to walk. The community was quiet, safe, very little traffic. Great Cottage, location, and very clean
We loved staying at the Sea Fan Cottage. This was our first time in Destin, Fl and it was amazing. It was my husband and our two children. My youngest daughter loved the little bunk bed room. The cottage is very clean and the place is very homey. My kids are already talking about wanting to come back next year and maybe bringing more people. When we go on vacation we like to stay in places that are updated and comfortable. Consequently we put a lot of loving care into the renovation of Sea Fan Cottage.
