House of Horrors

*Around 11pm the first night, we saw 2 mice run past us from the downstairs hallway into the downstairs bedroom via the bedroom door as I was sitting in the downstairs bedroom black leather chair located next to the bedroom door. *Both living room couches downstairs were filthy, discolored & stained. None of us wanted to sit on them. *The living room carpet downstairs was extremely stained & dirty. You can tell it wasn’t even vacuumed. *The corner countertop at the kitchen sink was completely gone and you could see straight down under the sink. *The back splash at this same kitchen sink was missing a big piece of the wall. *The small bedroom upstairs had large yellow stains on the actual pillow in which we saw after pulling the pillow case off to examine the bed. *The bed in this same small bedroom upstairs had a cluster of spider webs with dirt in it that connected from the bed post to the bottom mattress & sheets on the left hand side, head part of the bed. *This same bed had a tar like wet clot looking stain on the bottom mattress on this same left side of the bed towards the middle of the mattress. *There were several doors locked in the house that made it extremely creepy & half of the garage was full of items filling half the garage space. *The house had moths everywhere. The house was extremely neglected and not clean & could be a haven for mice to live in with all of the cluster from the garage and what may be in the locked rooms. The downstairs closet had men’s clothes in it & the medicine cabinet in the downstairs master bedroom was full with items such as toothbrush, deodorant, toothpaste, etc in it. I did not sleep in this house one minute the first night & was dying to get my family out of it the next morning.

Nice house but in need of some updates

We had a great time in incline village. The house is spacious and in a great location but it is need of repair. The main room lacks enough comfortable seating. It features two couches which are old and make you question if you want to sit on them. The beds are also uncomfortable with shoddy linens. The kitchen has a 1980’s dishwasher and the counter has a six inch missing piece of granite at the sink. The decks could also be better equipped with nice seats instead of Adirondack chairs that are about to fall apart. Primary contact did not respond to check in questions and had to resort to secondary contact.

AMAZING in EVERY way!

I rented this property to bring 8 members of my family out to Lake Tahoe to surprise my mother for her 70th birthday. This property was PERFECT for our needs!! The kitchen was well-appointed for our needs. I can’t say ENOUGH about the amazing views from all of the balconies. This house has plenty of space for a larger family where you do not feel like you are on top of each other. Also, the owners were excellent communicators and instantly answered a couple of texts and phone calls from me about a couple minor details throughout the weekend. We were so pleased with every single aspect of this vacation home!! If we ever make it back out to Tahoe, we would love to stay here again!!!

Fall wedding

We managed to have a perfect weather weekend. Fall colors, perfect temperatures, and no crowds. The house is very spacious and well designed. Since we were attending a wedding and the great weather, we didn't spend much time at the house. Outside of no curtains in any of the bedrooms, this is a very nice place. 7 adults and 1 child, very comfortable accommodations.

Fantastic Incline Village property

The house is awesome and in a great location. The owner was kind enough to reach out and secure beach passes for our party. Overall Grade-A experience.

Wonderful experience

The house was very accommodating. Only thing we wished was if we could figure out how to open the shoot on the fireplace in the living room. Other than that we had a blast. Thank you for a great holiday.

Wonderfully private and beautiful property!

We were two families with children who wanted to ski at nearby Diamond Peak. The house is literally two minutes from the resort. The rental is gorgeous and has two fully-equipped master suites and tons of beds and mattresses for the kids. The kitchen has everything as well, and we felt like we were at home. I highly recommend this rental!

Beautiful house and great location

This home is located in a great location for Incline Village. The house is spacious and ideal for larger groups as there are two master bedrooms. A few things we missed in the fine print: 1. There are not any window treatments. Our guests that stayed in the main floor bedroom felt uncomfortable especially in the bathroom. The guests in one of the second floor bedrooms also were uncomfortable as their bedroom faced another home. 2. There is only one television and it is located in the first floor master bedroom. We ate dinner in one evening and our group missed not being able to watch updates from sporting events earlier in the day. 3. Kitchen counter was recently upgraded but they did not finish it so we had part granite and part something like formica. It wasn't a big deal just odd. Overall, a nice home in a good location.

Drastically overpriced and poorly kept

We have previously stayed at very expensive rental home and felt that we had gotten our money's worth. That was not at all the experience with this rental, which was in a similar expensive range (over $800/night). While the home itself is conveniently located, items like major burn marks on the wall around the fireplace and absence of a large chunk of kitchen counter top around the sink represented pure neglect. The wall to wall carpeting in the bedrooms and living room were filthy and had numerous stains. Further, when one pays a lot of money for a rental one trusts that items like window coverings and screens on the multiple sliding glass doors and windows would be a given. THEY WERE NOT so that rather than being able to leave the windows and doors open to enjoy the fresh mountain air and to also cool the home, they all had to remain closed to keep the house from being overrun with moths and a multitude of other insects. For what we paid we feel like were taken advantage of BADLY.

Great Tahoe house Summer 2017

This is a beautiful house -- big! -- and we loved the deck and the completely equipped kitchen. We were a party of five adults + dog in August 2017: us two boomers, our son & DIL, and our daughter (& a small corgi). It was a short drive to the two Incline Village beaches (EVOLVE/owner got us registered quickly, so we could pick up our passes at the IV Rec Center), and a short drive to IV restaurants and the lakefront Hyatt (for a massage, and a birthday dinner at the Lone Eagle Grille).

Amazing view! Exeeded my expectation.

I was amazed by how beautiful the layout of the property was. Breath taking views from both balconies. Feels like home. Great place for a family gathering. Very close to the beaches, skiing resort and local store. We had so much fun at the property and didn't go to other places, but we did go to Incline beach which is only a mile away for private residents only so make sure to bring your pass which was provided when you reserve the property. Customer service is an A plus. I will definitely bring my family back. Thank you for a memorable weekend getaway !!
