Kilmacoe House Curracloe
A beautiful house with everything you need for your stay, a well equipped kitchen, and lovely conservatory, loads of room ,(we were a family of 7,) a lovely home from home feel. Hosts Eamond and Mandy were excellent and answered any query promptly The only down side was the ants in the conservatory did notice the ant spray and powder on the window (think they were disturbed when gardener cut the grass and they made a beeline for indoors!!! ). Lovely well kept gardens and sea view from the back, Outside looks a bit tired and could do with a paint, pity to see flaking paint and discoloured window sills on such a lovely building . Beautiful clean beaches in that area kids had a ball, A lovely week was had by all, we hope to return and would thoroughly recommend this holiday home

Decent house with some shortcomings
Beds comfortable , decent amount of space , kitchen good with plenty of cups , glasses , pans etc. Description of bathrooms misleading. Upstairs there is one bathroom with shower over bath and a toilet and hand basin, 2nd bathroom is a one meter square closet with a shower enclosure and nothing else and 3rd a separate toilet and hand basin downstairs .Also read description of facilities closely as towels are not provided. Internet/wifi was good and fast.

Great House Brilliant Location
We had a great holiday at this property, location for all amenities was brilliant, especially the beach, which we visited at least once a day, which my Grandaughter loved. The house was able to accommodate us all, very comfortably and the garden was a great play space. So overall we had a relaxing, active and unforgettable holiday in this great house in its brilliant location.

Gute Lage

Perfect for large family and great location.
We had a great time at the house. It’s bigger than the pictures would lead you to believe. Lots of space for the eight of us with extended family dropping in to visit never felt crowded. The owners are great and the managers were so nice and friendly. The location is perfect for a relaxing time, with the beach a very short drive away. It has everything you need. Would definately rent there again.

Fantastic setting, beautiful beach, so relaxing.
Property was spotless upon arrival. Modern, comfortable with a brand new family kitchen. Sea views and beach are spectacular, a really must see.. The village is a delight and the pubs/restaurants very welcoming. Wexford is only 15 mins away for shopping etc. We recommend staying at this property and enjoying the beautiful Curracloe.

Lovely relaxing holiday, gorgeous house
We had a fantastic time at Kilmacoe House, the house was ideal as between the 2 families staying there were 4 young children. There was plenty of space for the children to play and the garden was very secure and safe. The house is well equipped and comfortable. The neighbours were extremely friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is great especially for young children, the beach is clean and safe with white sand, although probably not walking distance with young children. We had a couple of trips out to Johnstown Castle and Wells House both of which had fantastic gardens ideal for children. All in all a fantastic, fun, relaxing holiday that we all enjoyed.

Great home with amazing view
This was our first stay at Kilmacoe house and we were not disappointed. The house was well equipped, spacious and comfortable and has super views to Curracloe beach. It is ideally located for the beach, Wexford and the surrounding area. If you are looking for a good value meal out, try the Ferrybank hotel just by the bridge in Wexford, lovely food in a nice setting. We also fished on Ballinesker beach and caught Smooth-hounds and went crabbing at North Slob both of which our children thoroughly enjoyed. We really enjoyed our stay at Kilmacoe house and would definitely recommend it and we hope to stay there again next time we are in Ireland.

Home from home, set in stunning surroundings
This house really is a cut above the rest. If you are looking for rustic charm, combined with modern facilities, set amongst the most beautiful surroundings, then Kurracloe house is for you. We stayed here for a week, the property is as it looks in the photos, clean, spacious and very comfortable. We especially liked looking at of the books on the shelves, and playing the old games In The conservatory, like Monopoly and scrabble. The bed linen is clean and there are plenty of cupboards. The owners met us from the ferry as we had never travelled to that area before. They are lovely and has even filled up the gas bottle to the BBQ for us. We soon found our way around, I found it helpful to have lots of information laid out about tourist attractions, at the cottage, if this is what you are into. We went on a guided town walk through Wexford, this was lovely. We also went to Hook Lighthouse, a must see, where we jumped across the rocks and painted some pieces of slate there, which we brought home. We also drove to Dublin, a 90 minute drive. We stopped just outside of Dublin at a beautiful place called Bray, a caught the train, along the beautiful coastline, into Dublin, again a must see. Overall, a super holiday, which was made all the more wonderful by the spectacular beach and sand dunes, just 5 minutes down the road.

Fabulous Holiday Home
We are a family of 6 adults who recently stayed in this lovely house for a week. Everything was exactly as described and the house was very comfortable and clean with everything you could need to make things run smoothly. The beach was excellent and only a few minutes drive. We were extremely lucky with the weather and this is a beautiful part of Ireland. There was so much to do, we brought our own canoes, etc which was fabulous for the beach and we went fishing there at night. Wexford bridge was another excellent place where we caught sea bass. Wexford town and Enniscorthy were only short drives away with good shopping. Gorey was also great for shopping. We attended an open air theatre at Wells House nearby with picnic and Johnstown Castle was beautiful. In summary an excellent holiday in a lovely house. We were met by our hosts on arrival and made very welcome and I would definitely recommend it.

Great place to stay
On arrival we where welcomed by the owner Mr Nolan and was immediately made to feel at home. My wife, and two children Brendan (14) and Claire (12) found this very reassuring after a long trip from South Africa. The house and the facilities were fantastic, just as advertised, and the location was ideal, Brendan and Claire thought the beach to be as good as any in South Africa and being only a couple of minutes away was great. I being a keen golfer loved the golf course and my wife really enjoyed the town of Wexford and the warm Irish welcome that we received were ever we went. The local bar and restaurant was great, the food, entertainment and very family friendly. Needless to say, we would recommend this holiday rental to family and friends, and hope to be going back next year.
