Enjoy a great lake front stay in the cottages at Crystal Traditions featuring an exclusive 100 foot private frontage on the beautiful North Shore of Crystal Lake. Relax in lawn chairs by a fire or lay in the sun, fire up the included grill or eat out at the areas finest local restaurants, any way you vacation our cottages are your best choice for accommodations! Golf, fish or shop, this is the premier area to vacation in Northern Michigan.

Both East and West view cottages are nestled together sharing a private 100 foot stretch of the spectacular Crystal Lake. Swim, boat, fish or just relax, each cottage offers 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, and can sleep up to 6. The kitchen is fully equipped, and some starter amenities are included. Enjoy your morning coffee with an unobstructed view of the lake through the large front windows. BBQ grills, dock, boat mooring buoy, and fire pits are provided for your use. Clean, comfortable, and close to all area attractions, our cottages will make your vacation a lasting memory. Both cottages can be booked separately or together making this an excellent choice for couples, families, and family reunions or events. Beulah and Frankfort are both nearby and offer small town charm, unique shopping, bars and restaurants. The amazing shores of Lake Michigan are also just minutes away and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and Shoreline is close by. Pets are welcome with some additional terms. Crystal Lake vacay

The property is amazing! It’s the perfect lakefront for swimming and kayaking right from the door. There are also multiple places to eat, shop, hike, swim or just view some of the most beautiful areas in the world.

An ideal lake cottage

The property is perfect! This was our third year staying there. It is right on the lake. It is super casual so you don't have to worry about little feet at their tendency to track sand. The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything we have needed. I have only nice things to say

I love Crystal Lake

We had to find a new place to stay for this summer as we got shut out of our previous resort. We found this property and booked. This cottage has more room than our previous cabin, so that is a plus. Bathroom is a little small but it serves the purpose. This cottage is a comfortable place to stay. Not fancy, but nice. We loved that the lake was so close to our cottage! And being that there is only 1 other cabin, it was not as hectic as the other resort (7 cabins). There is no real beach at the resort but this was not a pro lem for us. We swam off the dock and used the public access beach right next to us. This small beach did get quite a bit of use while we were there from people from near by. The road is close by but we had no issue with road noise. All in all, we were very pleased with are stay here and plan to return.

Nice, simple beachfront cottage

This was a great place for us to explore Beulah, Frankfurt, and surrounding towns. The beach was lovely and we had a great time paddle boarding. Dustin was a responsive and friendly host.

Bliss by the Lake

This cottage was perfect for a summer family getaway. We brought our dog too! The cottage has old school charm and the view can’t be beat. Right next door to a small public access beach where we put in our kayak. Loved watching sunsets from the dock!

Fabulous Location

Location, view, and the sound of lapping waves makes up for having to bring your own linens, hand soap, and TP. The downtown area is a few miles away with easy access to a walking/biking trail. The property mgr seemed eager to help with whatever we needed. Not the Holiday Inn but adequate.

Crystal Lake Beaching

We rented both cabins as we had 5 adults and dogs. We had a wonderful time! It was amazing to have our own beach. We will plan to rent here again! It was a lovely area for walks! Thank you!

Great spot for a family

We liked this property so much, we signed up for another two weeks in 2022. The location is outstanding and suited our family with a 5 year-old and a 3 year-old very well. The kids were able to play at the little beach next door and swim off the dock as well. They liked swinging on the little swing set and playing in the yard. The big kitchen window allowed us to keep an eye on them while we prepared and cleaned up after meals. The cleanliness of the place was ok. There is carpet in the kitchen, so naturally, there are stains from spills. There is a lot of sand in the carpet since there is a big patch of sand in front of the cottage. There is probably carpet to keep the sand from going everywhere all the time, but it still gets on your feet as you walk around. Probably the only way to avoid all the sand in the cottage would be to put in a patio out front since I doubt thick grass would ever grown there. The baseboards and electrical conduits were pretty dusty. No doubt this place is cleaned after each rental, but there are these design issues that would make it difficult to keep it spotless. That said, our family felt comfortable there. (How would we keep sand out with a 5 and a 3 year old anyway, right?) The host was responsive when we said we needed some new lightbulbs and a spatula. We look forward to coming back next year!

A nice little cabin on a beautiful lake, I would consider coming here in the future. It’s close to some hiking/biking trails and near some cute towns (Frankfort, Glen Arbor, etc.)

Beautiful location on Crystal lake. Older cabin but has all necessities and right on the lake. Had a problem with a doorknob not working which caused the door to become stuck but the property manager came over right away.

Vacation on Crystal lake

We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 girls, 9 & 11. Check in at 4. Check out 10 am. We ended up wasting several hours of our stay. I feel like 6 hours to clean for the next tenants is a bit excessive. Plug in the bathroom sink needs fixed. The bedroom with the two twin beds, the door jammed closed with our daughters inside and took 20 minutes to get it open, and there was no lock on the door. The location on the water was nice. And the girls found several cool rocks and stones.
