Great Family week away
Had a great get together with extended family. Many walks on the beach and visits to surrounding Wexford attractions. The property housed all 12 of us easily and had sufficient kitchen facilities to allow us to cook and dine all together.

Spacious, comfortable, private
We were a party of 13, 6 children. The home was more than ample. The kitchen well equipped. Features a pool table, lovely conservatory, large bedrooms, huge yard. Beach is a 10 minute drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay
A lovely stay in a great house. Three generations of the family had a great time. Great fun playing pool for some, a lovely garden, loads of space in the house. A stair gate was a great help as were the cot and the extra high chair. Just a short drive to beautiful Curracloe beach and very close to Wexford too. Thanks for a really enjoyable week

Lovely break. House suited our needs lovely size. It is not close to beach, we knew this before we booked. Space for us all not to feel we were ontop of each other. Could do with a deep clean for price you are paying it needs more attention in this area.

Good family holiday
We all enjoyed our stay in Carracloe, but unfortunately we had a couple of problems with some light fitting that did not work one being the down stairs bathroom where the light didn't work at all. After contacting the house Manager Mary she then contacted the house owner who in turn contacted myself, I told him about the problems but my Daughter was 6 month's pregnant and she could not see in the bathroom at night. but the fault wasn't rectified at the time, the owner sent some temporary motion senor lights for the bathroom not ideal but did help. would of been better if the fault was dealt with properly at the time.

Nolan Property Ballinamorragh,Curracloe
Nolan Property Ballinamorragh, Curralcoe, Musty, grubby and in desperate need of updating. En-suite showers DO NOT work. Water scalding hot due to poor electrics. Worse is the false advertising, sea views...there are none. We were NOT told before booking that we would be responsible to get rid of our rubbish. This info was given to us via representative towards end of holiday. It cost money to do (8 euro for two bags) and our deposit penalised if we didn't. Special 70th celebrations ruined. Curracloe and Wexford is fantastic though. I hope VBRO take these comments and act on them.

Wonderful location, well equipped house. The property needs a deep clean/tidy inside/outside
The house is on a wonderful secluded site, not far from Curracloe village & beach, and Wexford town nearby. Fabulous area and we had lovely weather so a great holiday enjoyed by 3 generations. Owners were very good on communication pre arrival and we were met by a lovely lady Mary to check in on arrival day. The house had ample cooking facilities and equipment and the kitchen is modern and bright with a couple of dining tables. Extra drinks fridge was a bonus in utility room. It could do with a garden table set, especially when weather nice so this was missing for us. No WiFi was ok for us as kids couldn’t be on devices much, bar a few downloads. Plenty of DVD’s in the house which we used on one wet day, nice surprise. But we could not get the TV channels working and my brother is quite techie. Wasn’t much issue, my dad would have watched news if he could have. Our one misgiving was the cleanliness. Many cobwebs throughout. When we opened Velux windows for air we were showered with dead flies. The delph and crockery was not clean. We had to hand wash mugs for tea on arrival and put all the cutlery and other items through the dishwasher. We found a grease-caked frying pan also which we just set aside, as there was a second one to use. Many cupboards and drawers had to be cleaned by us, as well as the second fridge in utility. One shower upstairs was not working and a toilet seat missing from downstairs main bathroom. These points were a major disappointment on arrival, but we got over it and did have a good holiday.

Good and bad
Lovely quiet secure and secluded property. The living areas of the house are great- several fridges/freezers, plenty of cooking utensils, dishware, storage space, utility room and the conservatory/pool room is great. Also a nice barbecue area out back which we used a couple of times. Our frustration was with showers- one en suite shower didn’t work at all despite the complicated instructions and 2 other en suite showers were just about passable. Several hot taps not working in sinks. There are very creaky floors throughout the house so light sleepers beware! Also the TV set up is bafflingly complicated. No on site bin service so you have to take ALL rubbish away with you- that was an unfortunate challenge for our large group

Great holiday!
Our family of 10 including 4 young grandchildren had a great holiday at this Curracloe property. It was ideally situated near attractions suitable for small children as well as beautiful beaches nearby. The property is spacious with a large garden too. I would say that there are minor diy jobs that need attention as well as soft furnishings that are rather tired however it didn't detract from a very enjoyable holiday after months of lockdown.

Great property for a large group!
Great property! Very spacious, comfortable and in a great location. Pool table/game room was an absolute hit and the house was great for entertaining. Some may view the lack of WiFi as a bad thing but the ability to spend time with family and friends without everyone constantly staring at electronic devices made no WiFi a huge plus for us. The house comfortably accommodates 13 people and the grounds allow for tons of parking (we often had six cars parked comfortably). Very happy with this property and hope to revisit it in the future!

Lovely break!
This property is so spacious and catered just perfect for our large group. Had all the necessary supplies needed. Location is perfect, five mins drive from shops, pub, beach and Wexford town not too far away. Such a great base. Would definitely recommend it, we hope to be back next year!

Large property
Plenty of space for large groups such as ours and good outside area for barbecues. Also pool table. It needs a few minor repairs and, at the price, we would expect wifi.

Roomy property, Ideal for large families.
The property was bigger than expected. our grand children enjoyed the space the property offered. Large front garden for games. Pool table was a great addition in the conservatory type room. Location was perfect for the beach and Wexford and local pubs and restaurants. Beds were comfortable, and rooms were spacious. All my family members and grand children loved it.

Nice location. House in need of some updating
The property manager was helpful and welcoming prior to our arrival and let us be flexible with arrival and leaving time as there were no bookings either side of our week long stay. The house had plenty of room for our large family group and we enjoyed the pool table. Unfortunately a lot of the kitchen equipment was unclean as we took it out to use. The showers don't work very well and varied between scolding hot or cold (despite following instructions on the wall). One of the bathroom lights didn't work and there were no blinds on one of the bedroom windows (all the drawers were also falling off the dressing table in this room). Overall the house could do with a bit of upkeep/ redecoration in some areas. It would also be helpful to add additional instructions regarding the rubbish disposal. Directions and average fuel cost for the long round trip to dispose of rubbish were in the manual but it missed important information that you needed to pay 7 euros to put about 2 bags in the dumpster. Thankfully there is bottle recycling at the same location! The surrounding area has some amazing beaches and we enjoyed some lovely walks.

We really enjoyed the property great garden and facilities in the house. only comment is that the cooking facilities were limited for a large party. other than that the house provided everything that we could have wanted.

Great holiday house
We rented this property for a week. Upon arrival we where very impressed with the space of all the rooms and available seating throughout. We where a group of 13 (10 adults, great grandparents, grandparents, etc and 3 children, ages 1, 3 and 8). For us the house had everything we needed and we found it a great location for exploring County Wexford. The garden was also a hit, with lots of room for the children and area to BBQ. The booking process was very straight forward and our deposit was refunded quickly too. I would reccommend the house for extended family holidays!!

Very spacious and good location
Having a party of 13 we were really impressed with the amount of space the property offered. The kitchen facilities were very good with lots of fridge space. The children also enjoyed exploring the very large garden. A car is necessary but the house is not far from local amenities and interesting places to visit. Wifi and towels being provided would have been helpful but overall we were really pleased with the property and would come back if visiting Wexford again. The booking process was very easy and Eamond and all that we were in contact with were extremely friendly and helpful.

Large family house
A large family home. Great location with access to loads of amenities in the county. Beaches fantastic for kids. The garden was brilliant as the kids could play all day and they enjoyed the size for football. Secluded and safe location. House tired and needs attention to maintenance and cleaning. Kitchen equipment piecemeal. The oven was not clean. Perhaps a few plastic chairs to supplement the benches for large parties. Overall, considering the size of our party it was good value for money.

A great week had by all
A very spacious property for a family holiday with 3 rooms down stairs for the old uns & 3 upstairs for the kids. the pool table was in constant use with many a family challenge. In all - if you want a large house with lots of space, in a great location, to have a great time without being ontop of one another, (even when it rains, & it did) - then look no further. A supply of towels would help for long distance travellers though. David & Lorraine Smith KSA.

fantastic family holiday
I stayed in the house with my two sons and daughter and their families. The size and the layout of the house is superb for several families, there were six adults and six children from 22months to 15years who all thoroughly enjoyed the space. The pool table and table tennis were great and the acre garden was plenty of space for football, cricket and frizbee. Just a couple of suggestions for the owners, the first was that the fridge is not adequate for the size of the house, we did struggle in keeping food cool. Coasters would be good too, it would be sad to have the pine furniture in the bedrooms spoilt because of the lack of coasters, and so little cost to make a difference. The third suggestion would be an extra large saucepan to be able to cook a curry, chilli or bolognese for twelve instead of having to use the small three saucepans. All in all we had a fabulous holiday and the manager was very helpful and we were able to phone her if we had any queries etc. Great house Eamond, and if we ever return to the area we definitely would like to rent the house a second time. Thanks again.

Great house
We were a family of 10 adults, a 6yo, 3yo and 8month old and spent a week in early August at the Beach House. Granny was just after back surgery and with the 8month old waking in the night, the en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor were ideal. The further dbl room on the ground floor, and the 2 dbls (1 en suite) and triple on the first floor meant everyone was accommodated and the youngest guests could go to bed upstairs while adults chilled out in the conservatory (monitors worked throughout the house). There are also 2 family bathrooms upstairs and downstairs and a cloakroom in the utility room, so no queues for facilities. Plenty of eating and seating areas both in the kitchen and dining room, and further seating areas in the conservatory. There is a large, plasma screen tv but we didn't feel the need to watch, we mostly flew kites in the garden, played pool or table-tennis in the conservatory, and went to the beach as often as weather permitted. We also made use of the bar-be-que provided, which is a good size for feeding a group. Although getting to the beach does mean a short car journey, it is only a few minutes and the beach and sand dunes are fantastic. There's a clothes line in the back garden which was handy for throwing beach wet togs and towels on. A walk in the Ravenswood forest is also highly recommended, even if you don't complete the full 9km circuit (we didn't!). Curracloe is just a few mins away in the car (en route to the beach), the fish and chips from the local pub come recommended and the local shop seems to have everything! Wexford town is just a short drive away. All in all a great location, everyone enjoyed themselves, and the owners and the person who met to hand over keys were very friendly and helpful.
