A beautifully decorated ranch on a large lot with 3 spacious bedrooms that sleeps 6 people, 2.5 baths, living room, dining room, large family room with gas fire place, office, updated kitchen, and lovely patio right off the kitchen and family room for outside dining. The home sits on a corner lot which is just minutes away from downtown Lake Forest shopping, Lakefront Beach, and Metra Train to downtown Chicago. The open floor plan allows you to relax and enjoy the mounted flat screen television from the kitchen or family room. The master bedroom has a sitting area, work space desk and flat screen television. Other flat screen televisions are throughout the house, central air, and wifi. The master bedroom bathroom has double sinks, a separate shower, and huge soaking tub. The entire house is exceptionally clean and extremely well maintained.

Navy Boot Camp Graduation

Had a great time at this home. We rented for 3 days for navy graduation. It was less than 10 minutes south of the base, which made pick ups and drop off of our sailor easy. The pictures if the home dont do it justice. Check out the pics on Realtor.com. Plenty of space, comfortable beds and kitchen is large, nicely equiped with all you need. Nice backyard, quiet, upscale neighboorhood. Laundry room is a bonus.We ate out for dinners. Lots if restaurants nearby, Libertyville is only a 20 minute drive fo more dining options. Also super close to train into Chicago. Dont drive into city, is so expensive. Will look forward to future visits while our sailor is at A school in Great Lakes.ijustice.justice.Check the o ea Elcheck

Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s a beautiful, clean, well maintained home. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The owner is easy to work with and was quick to respond if we had questions. I would not hesitate to rent this property again the next time we are in town.

Comfort and Location

We stayed at Shawn’s house for two weeks visiting a relative and temporarily escaping the Texas heat. The house was very comfortable. So often rental houses have stylish but uncomfortable furniture which does not encourage you to spend time in the house. Shawn’s place had comfortable furniture that we greatly enjoyed just relaxing there. For us the location could not have been better. It’s located in a beautiful neighborhood close to the beach.we look forward to staying there again when we visit the area.

Easy stay!

I rented this house for my family who was in town for a wedding. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s updated, clean, and very spacious. Would definitely rent again!

Great location, nice house, noisy laundry

Nice large house. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of room to sleep and plenty of bathrooms. The washing machine, no exaggeration, sounds like a jet engine. We had to put the TV on full volume to hear anything over the sound. You also can't shut the door to the laundry room because the machines are too big. Really obnoxious. There don't seem to be any dressers in the house so you have to hang everything or keep it in your suitcase. Really nice backyard and patio.

This place I can’t say enough about. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s stunning and so comfortable. Had everything we needed. Shawn was quick to get back to me whenever I needed something. Cute little town is just down the road to walk and relax. Perfect location to see my son graduate bootcamp at Great Lakes!

Hassle free!

This was our first time using vrbo. As a family of 5, hotels are not a great fit. We end up needing 2 rooms which is next to impossible to find conjoining rooms, and is quite expensive! We decided to rent this beautiful 3 bedroom house. Not only was it clean, it was clearly well cared for. Location was great as we did not want to be in the “big city” of Chicago but close enough we can make a day trip to the city and surrounding areas. We did not have much communication with the host, but that was because we did not need to. He responded promptly when I had a question about check in the day before our trip and had a nice print out of the expectations, “rules”, and check out procedures. My family had a great trip and staying in this home was perfect! Also, a great price compared to any hotel within an hour in any direction.

Convenient Location

The house was very conveniently located for a reunion weekend at Lake Forest College. It also very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The traffic noise from nearby Sheridan Road was the only issue for a light sleeper like me, but overall I would highly recommend this as an accommodation.

Lovely, spacious home in beautiful community close to Lake Michigan beach

Unfortunately, our (2 night) weekend reservation was overlooked and thought to be included with the prior weekday reservation and the house was not ready for our check-in. However, the owner quickly responded and cleaned the home for our stay. The house is lovely and very spacious. The front dining room and formal living room are beautiful, but we did not even use these. The kitchen is nice and updated, however, not well stocked with a set of cookware, cooking utensils, or bake ware. We were visiting our college student and having 1 pot and fry pan made it challenging to make a couple of home cooked meals. Many odd items in drawers and not enough basic necessities. If cooking is not a priority, then it shouldn't be an issue. There were no napkins, and we ran out of the half roll of paper towels quickly, and kitchen towels were sparse. Found coffee pot in pantry and enough coffee for 1/2 pot. If you intend to cook or have morning coffee, then bring what you need. Comfy beds, and overall a nice home in a great location.
